- [ ] The Roosevelt Hotel has been hands down one of the nicest hotels my family and I have stayed at during vacation. The hotel’s staff was incredibly friendly, the hotel was clean, and the restaurants/bars offered a variety of items. We were able to enjoy the live music downstairs while having dinner one night. I can’t say enough good things about how beautiful this hotel is, as well as its history. Our room wasn’t very big at all, but it was still very clean and well maintained. We used the valet service there and it was very quick and professional. The location of the hotel is also ideal, as you can pretty much walk to anything. Overall, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone in the New Orleans area.

Loved our stay at the Roosevelt. Staff was amazing and attentive. Hotel was clean.

Only down side was the room itself didn't feel 5-star. Pillows were limp, bed was hard, drain in bathroom sink was broken and wouldn't drain properly. Fridge was tiny, not wide enough to put a Togo container. No microwave. Is was, however, clean, spacious, sound proof, with a spectacular skyline view.

Came for the New Orleans jazz festival. Normally, I stay at the Marriott or similar hotels for conferences, but since this was for leisure decided to stay somewhere little bit more upscale. Glad I did. From the time we checked in to the time we left we were looked after well by the staff. The rooms were clean and quiet. There was turn down service every night. With drinks one night at the famous bar and at breakfast most days at the hotel. Everything was great. If I were to have a criticism of the hotel was that they were a little understaffed at the check-in desk.

We had a great stay here! We booked through the FHR program and got all of the benefits/amenities promised, and we were even upgraded to a spacious 1-bedroom suite. The location was perfect for us-- just far enough out of the chaos but close enough to have easy access to the French Quarter and streetcar. The lobby is stunning and retains its historic charm. The Sazerac Bar being in the hotel was so fun too! We would definitely stay at the Roosevelt again on a trip to New Orleans.

I attended a conference here this week. It’s a super nice place to visit. Very majestic. I really like the way the staff is dressed in uniforms. It makes a huge difference.
The facilities are very well maintained. Service was great and the staff is very polite.
I did not stay here as they were booked up.

This is a beautiful hotel with great service. We especially enjoyed our dinner and breakfast in the dining room. The Food and Beverage Manager, Conroy, was great and his staff and servers were the best, attentative and very personable. Kudos to your team Conroy. The meals were excellent. Will definitely come back here. Location is great. Roof top pool is also very nice.

My wife and I stayed at the Roosevelt hotel for a quick weekend trip from Destin, Florida to New Orleans. The Roosevelt Waldorf Astoria is our go to hotel when we visit New Orleans. Top not service all around. We had a personal concierge named Jasmine Montana and she was fantastic. she helped us with everything we needed, and her professionalism was fantastic. Highly, highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria / Roosevelt hotel if you’re staying in New Orleans.

This was my first time visiting New Orleans and I decided to stay at The Roosevelt, as I had some credit card points to use and would not normally splurge on the full price otherwise.

To start, the service is simply spectacular - staff are attentive, quick, knowledgeable, and friendly! In particular, I love the follow up text to my cell to inquire about the stay, and I love that it is NOT an automated system - I texted and asked if it would be possible to purchase a robe from the hotel (they're amazing robes, seriously), and they responded with instructions on where I could make the purchase.

The hotel made sure I left with a robe (thank you, Mary at the Spa!). When I had to check out, I mentioned in passing to the valet that I really enjoyed beignets while I was here, but that I hadn't tried The Roosevelt's. Hearing this, he went back inside and treated me to some hot beignets to take on the road, and, poetically, recommended that I listen to the local jazz station (90.7) as I drove home from New Orleans until it faded out, which I did. Randy, you're awesome.

The rooms are well furnished, the beds are comfortable, and the hotel architecture and overall ambience is exquisite; however, these are all things you'd expect when paying what you pay for a night at a place like The Roosevelt. What really ties it all together is the service and the staff, and this crew nails it. I had a spectacular first visit in New Orleans, and a very large part of it was due to this hotel and the guest experience they create.

Very well done, and thank you for the magical stay! I will not only highly recommend this location, but I will absolutely be returning sooner rather than later.

Beautiful building! This is one of my favorite places that I've stayed. The views are really cool and the rooms are unique. The lobby and "main areas" are so awesome. The historical feel is great. The location is fairly walkable to a lot of attractions.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! Everyone from the doormen to the cleaning people were wonderful! Eager to help and make our stay an enjoyable one. We were given maps to navigate the immediate area, and recommendations to the best places for brunch and dinner. I can't recommend them enough!

I had a really great stay in this hotel. The rooms are clean and quiet. I stayed in a King Suite. Each staff that I had an encounter with was extremely friendly and accommodating. I had a facial at the Spa and it was exquisite. Great location to all the tourist sites. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again when I return to NOLA.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were really friendly and nice. They gave us a great upgrade on our room.

Our room was a suite. It was clean and big. It was also quiet. Cleaning staff were efficient.

Location and style are subjective. This hotel is between the warehouse district , which I love, and the French Quarter, which is more historic and a bit seedy en route. It’s a block from Canal Street, a shopping area.

The hotel is classically styled. Not modern by any means but not stuffy or unattractive. Lots of Victorian furniture, rugs, moulding, chandeliers etc.

Restaurants are abundant within walking distance and the hotel has a great bar and Italian restaurant downstairs.

They were very accommodating and helpful. I was able to get late checkout by just texting them. I realized I forgot my laptop charger in my room after I checked out and thankfully someone on their staff had turned it in and they got it back to me within minutes. My room was lovely and large. Quick walk to the French quarter and shopping.

Amazing hotel experience. Close to the action, but not in it. Easy walk to French Quarter, Bourbon St, and Smoothie King center. The room was super clean and most of all quiet. The service is superb. Every single employee is courteous and helpful. From the valet to room service to the bell men. Gee as a valet was excellent, and Randy at the front entry way made our family feel right at home. Also the pool was a blast for the kids. Highly recommend.

I have stayed in this hotel now twice. It is the perfect mix of luxury and value. The beds are extremely comfy and the location is great. It is far enough from the French Quarter that you are away from the craziness of bourbon street but close enough that you can walk most areas. The staff is attentive and polite. The Hilton Gold amenity gives you $20 at the on property bars or store which is generous. I would not hesitate to stay here again if in NOLA.

Our stay was perfect. Everyone was friendly and kind throughout our entire stay. The people in the spa treated me like a princess and gave me great information about events around town. Room service was really good, too. The foid was delicious and hot and the staff were professional. Our housekeeper, Andrea, was the best. She was absolutely lovely and did an extremely thorough job. I highly recommend The Roosevelt New Orleans, and I hope to return.

Wow! What an amazing building. The lobby is like nothing I have seen before. So ornate and beautiful! It’s in a perfect location right near everything. It’s also the home to the Sazarac Bar and it’s fantastic drinks, bartenders and atmosphere.

I had a great stay at this Waldorf Astoria. The hotel is in a good location. You can walk to everything. The rooms were the perfect size. The beds and linens at Waldorf Astoria are the best. They have a small cafe downstairs that has coffee. The girl working was fast and friendly. Front desk was very helpful and informative when I arrived. I was there for business and ordered food in room at night. The room attendants were very nice especially the lady that answers the phone. The food was good, I would just suggest more items on the menu. I tried everything. I had a rental car and needed to leave often for meetings. The valet was impressive. They were super fast and always had my car ready for me. The front is a little hectic with cars.
Overall was happy with my stay.

This is a long overdue review. Back in September, my family and I stayed at this location for our 15th anniversary (yes we brought the kiddos). From the first email sent to check out, service was AMAZING. Jasmine Montana did everything to ensure that our stay was memorable, by providing A+ customer service and pulling out all the stops to honor our special day. We appreciate you Jasmine!! This was out first, and certainly not the last, stay at the Roosevelt. We can't wait to return.

The Roosevelt hotel is a gorgeous, upscale property with historic charm and elegance. The bed was amazingly comfortable and I actually slept well while traveling. The room was quiet and equipped with all you need including a safe, robes, iron, blow dryer, and large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap/body wash. There's a lovely rooftop pool, plenty of dining options and the best beignets I ate while visiting New Orleans. Easy walk to Canal Street trolleys and the French Quarter. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful. Would Definitely stay here again!
