Virginia Beach KOA Holiday

We love KOA Virginia Beach!
This place is really nice beach camping option. I only stayed at hotel whenever coming to Virginia Beach but this time has change my preference. Its much more to do out here than the hotel oceanfront. Its location is very close to beach, stores and restaurants, lots of places to eat, shop and very nice Walmart in 10 minutes drive.
Staff are nice and kind here. The place is well kept and clean. Bathrooms are clean even on the labor day’s weekend they were full. It was not crazy as I expected.
New pools are so nice, small but very enjoyable. My kids also love the jumping pad and all that set up near the store. Store has great stuff and not overpriced.
Only con from me is the noise for traffic at night. It was so loud.
Highly recommended. We will definitely be back as first choice.

This is the first time I've stayed at this campground. The shower house was nice, and the roads didn't have huge pot holes like the place across the street does!!! They are a little pricey, but if you have kids, they would definitely enjoy themselves

I celebrated my 43rd birthday at KOA and the cabin was very nice from the inside to the outside patio and fire pit area. This was my second time here at KOA but I invited my sisters, my best friend and her family. It was everyone's first time at the cabin and they all enjoyed themselves. Thanks KOA for being a gem in the heart of Virginia Beach.

This is my first time at a KOA. We had a baby and he had to get admitted to chkd in Norfork. We have 2 kids already so there was no way we were staying in a hotel until he could come home, so this really wasn't a planned vacation but The staff did great with all the help we needed, and we felt really comfortable here, we started off In a deluxe cabin and then moved to a smaller one because it was reserved, and the smaller one was just as comfy as the bigger ones. I never thought I'd even end up at a campground around here, but I do know now that we will definitely be coming back next year with our camper! Thank you for your support and accommodations throughout this tough time for our family.

It My favorites .My family loves this place. My children especially my autistic son. The staff is very good with the children.
the bathroom are always clean.
They have activities almost everyday for kids and adults.
I definitely suggest staying here. It deserves more stars.

I had an absolutely amazing time at KOA Campgrounds in Virgins Beach! The location was perfect, right by the beach, and the campsite was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a fantastic camping experience. The amenities were top-notch, from the well-equipped bathrooms to the convenient camp store. We enjoyed fun activities and a sense of community with fellow campers. I can't wait to return and make more wonderful memories at KOA Campgrounds in Virgins Beach! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable camping getaway. 🏕🌊😊

Really enjoyed a long weekend here. Extremely clean campground. The staff was great. They have a lot of amenities here but they closed for the season (we stayed here in Nov) will definitely return next year.

This is a very clean campground with wonderful staff. There are wooded and open sites depending upon your preference. Shuttle service to the beach area is also convenient. Highly recommend and I'll definitely stay there again in the future.

My family loves this place. My children especially. The staff is very good with the children. They have activities almost everyday for kids and adults. Between the food vendors and bands coming here to play. There is always something going on. A little pricey for the stay but isn't everywhere this day in time. I definitely suggest staying here. It deserves more stars. Some of the extended stay sights needs ground work because it hold water on part of the site most if the time.

We have stayed a number of times at this campground . Facilities are awesome. Nice friendly staff. Has great pool and activity area. They had a band playing in the evening. Very clean !

I recommend KOA's Deluxe cabins over going to a hotel when traveling! Way cheaper and you have a cabin all to yourself! Kym was the front desk staff during our stay and she was always polite and fantastic 👏 they also have a playground.

Very Friendly Staff, clean. Stayed in Deluxe Cabin, had everything we needed including linens. Was a bit pricey, but I think it was the area. Loved the shuttle into town too.
Only down fall is the Pool is not completed. That will be very nice once it is completed.

This was one of the best K.O.A.'s that we have been in all year. Great level site, nice clean laundry room, plenty of room for our furbaby to move about. Pool and lazy river looked nice (didn't use them) and there was plenty for the families with children to do.

Stayed for a few nights in an RV site. Staff was friendly. Nice campground. Happy to have the pool open in late Sept. Band and food truck on Saturday night was great. Would definitely return.

A beautiful campground with plenty of space in each site. Great playground and pool with a lazy river. Some people may be bothered by the sound of jets from Oceana Naval Station but, I consider it the sound of freedom and loved it.

We camped here for the first time, at one of their beautiful patio sites, this past weekend in our fifth wheel. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed! The camps store/reservation staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the escort assisted my husband in getting us parked next to the pad and was very helpful. The site was nicely furnished, shaded, landscaped, and clean. The campground was very clean and well maintained. There were a lot of activities and things going on throughout the campground, making for an enjoyable, camping experience. We've already booked our next stay! I would highly recommend this KOA property.

I absolutely love this KOA! It is so clean and the staff is so helpful and friendly. We stay at a lot of KOA campgrounds and this is definitely one of our favorites! I absolutely love the live bands they have on Saturday nights and the staff is absolutely amazing with my kids!!! Thank you Va Beach KOA for being so amazing!!!

The staff is very professional. Wish we could get in their pool, but they are doing some Reconstruction which it looks great ( sorry no pictures of it ). Wish the others dogs owners would clean up behind their dogs. Other than that, this place is Fantastic. Wish we could stay longer. The roads is calling us. Leaving out tomorrow 8/11/23. THANKS VIRGINIA BEACH KOA. YOU ARE ON OUR LIST TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR.

Really enjoyed the family experience! It was very child friendly, lots of activities for Halloween. Also everything is easy to walk to and dog friendly. I would go again!

We thoroughly enjoyed RV camping at this KOA! Bathrooms were always cleaned and well maintained. The amenities were ample and there was always plenty to walk around and do! Their obviously newly renovated recreational area was lovely and cozy! It was a five minute drive to the beach! We loved staying here!
