Lotts Island RV Campground.

Bare bones camping. Quiet, except for traffic on main road and occasional in flight noise. Camp Host, Nate, was very sociable and informative, always smiling and waving as we would pass! He was very informative on what was available on base . Didn’t mind the drive to the laundry, clean and easy to use with bank card.

We did a trip down to Florida and got a site at Lotts on the way back to NC. Camp ground is really close to I 95. We did a one night hit and run. Most sites are pull through so didn't have to unhook toad. Full hookups, 20 dollars a night with American the beautiful pass. FIRE pit!! On base so super safe. It is small campground. Has ramp and docks down the road. Really enjoyed!

Small campground. Only 16 sites. Had some difficulty finding the base, but the campground was great for all size rigs, full hook up. Picnic area and playground just up the road.

My favorite Military Campground to date. Stayed here a week. Easiest hookup I’ve ever had. Pull in, lot is dead on level. Large lot…both wide and long. Hookups convenient and easy to connect to. Concrete pad is nice as a front porch. Due to length of lot, did not feel hurried to disconnect truck as we were setting up in as much as I was not hanging out into the road. Nice grill and fire ring at our campsite both of which we used. Campground is on post but the gate where you enter is far away from main post and is immediately to the left after you enter the gate. So, it is almost like being on an annex. Convenient to all things Savannah. Several conveniences just outside the gate. Quiet…little sporadic helicopter or road noise. Nice commissary and exchange about 3 miles away. Plenty of rain while here. Saw no drainage or water ponding issues. On post fishing close by. No laundry or bathhouse….so….who cares.

Although it is small (15spaces), it is quite cozy. Plenty of room at each site for sure. The camp host was also very nice. While there were not bathrooms and showers, the water and electric hookups worked flawlessly. It felt very private and secure. A full thumbs up 👍

This campground is ideal location to visit the Savannah sceneries & eateries. Nathan, the campground host was very pleasant, conversant, and most helpful. The MWR could be more supportive of the camp host by keeping the place spruce up, posting speed limits to 5 mph like most of the RV parks everywhere as there are families with children playing, numbering the spaces. The tall beautiful trees and natural green surroundings has to be maintained properly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will continue to use this facility as one of our RV base.

Close to Savannah and exit to off base fastfood and sit-down dining. You do have to drive a couple of miles to the laundry on post but it is always spotless. Commissary and PX are convenient as well as a boat launch ramp. We have used this campground every Nov since 2011 but 1& often in the spring. Since Nathan has been the host the appearance has improved 10 fold. It is clean and grass cut when he has access to mower I have seen him using a personal mower. For the money you will not find a better campground within a 100 miles.

Nice little military campground that is close to Savannah and other tourist destinations. It is a no frills place and you will probably hear some street traffic during the week, but the camp host was friendly and helpful.
I would stay here again with no complaints.

The campground is in a nice wooded area with easy access to most of the 16 sites. The sites themselves are fairly level and provide full 3 point hookups (50/30 amp, water and sewer).

Note that the campground does not have a comfort station, laundry, cable, Wi-Fi or other Internet access, but it does provide convenient access to Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah and the surrounding areas.

Great little campground. Does need some updates since RV's have gotten bigger and Site 5 floods. Nathan is a great Camp Host. Very helpful and keeps it in order.

Horn RV park on a military base this is a great place for family for retirees not a lot of amenities but great people. Nate the park manager has always helped us get anything we might need. This is a must stay for military people if you looking to go to Savannah.

Enjoyed our time here. Fire pits and grill at the campsite with full hookups. Road noise nearby. Lots of trees. Good value and close proximity to tour Historic Savannah.

Certainly safe! Not too crowded at all, very good prices, pleasant personnel. If you're looking for a conveniently located site with no frills but full hookup this might work for you.

Good place. 12 sites, on the narrow short side.
40ft had no problems in the sight were In.

Friendly helpful staff and grounds host. Would recommend it to other RV'ers. Plenty of local stores, library is local, AMC Theaters and VA clinic Is local.
Plenty of space for pull throughs.

Close to interstate in the gate and campground is around the first corner 100 yards.
Small and very private great little place with full hock up.

It's a nice little passing thru spot. No amenities, and very noisy due to major hwy right beside and behind it, but it does the job.
