New York Hair Barbershop

I've been coming here for almost 7 years, O and his crew are hands-down, the best in town. I haven't experienced that true barber shop experience anywhere else. Well worth my 30 minute drive to get a cut that I know will be the best! My son's first cut was with them, and I wouldn't have it any other way! Men's cuts, women's cuts, kids cuts, they do and master it all!.

Cut with design could have went a little more slowly but it was still good usually goto Orlando but will go back

Me and my boyfriend visited here recently and we had a great experience. we were able to talk to the owners, and found out they were a family business from New York! Everyone was sweet and my boyfriend loved his haircut. He said he would definitely come back whenever he is in town.

All of the guys there are great, and always make me feel like a million bucks after they cut my hair and trim up my face. The best haircut in town, hands down!!

I love this barber shop. Everyone there is very friendly and loves to have conversations about anything. They can always contribute with smart replies and sometimes I learn more about a subject.

This barber shop makes you feel warm and welcomed. It's funny because I just moved from New York City a few months ago and know what the attitudes are like in New York City. This barber shop is nothing like the attitudes in New York City. They are friendly and love it when you walk in the door. Sometimes they actually start the conversation. If they are in a conversation you can jump right in and they will love it that you did that because you provide more insight.

I could go on and on about this barber shop. I totally believe that it's not a coincidence that I found this barber shop. I'm absolutely positive that I was sent there which has really helped me with all the stuff going on in my life. Oh by the way I got an excellent haircut. I highly recommend New York Barber shop. It just might change your life.

I adore this barbershop, they're all wonderful guys, great with children, a genuinely friendly atmosphere and truly amazing and talented barbers. 10/10 recommend.

I had been searching for almost 2 months for a Barber since I cut my hair short (natural hair) and I'm new to Florida. I went to one barber and he totally messed my cut up. I have been very nervous to try a new place/barber. Well, since my birthday is next week, I really needed to find a place! I searched and searched on Google. Looked up reviews, called shops and left messages. Some places just straight up said they don't do women cuts. I finally chose NY Barbershop and HALLELUJAH!! Jose answered the phone and was very polite. Told me to come on in. When I got there, I was greeted and acknowledged. I had to wait a bit...3 people in front of me but it went by quickly and My wait was pleasant. All male barbers and they were all very respectful as I was the only woman in the shop at the time. New York/Brooklyn cut my hair. He was awesome!! He asked me what I wanted in detail and he already had an idea of what I was describing. He then introduced himself, we chatted a bit and proceeded to cut my hair. He then commenced to cleaning up my eyebrows (which I desperately needed but totally was not expecting...who knew?) and then he washed my hair added leave-in and oil. He knew what he was doing! I was so thoroughly surprised and impressed by the entire service appt. I will most definitely schedule future appointments. I am proud to say I've found a Barber here in Melbourne, FL!! Whew!

Best barbershop around and the staff always make it a good time while you wait or while getting your cut never had a bad experience

These guys are great here. They render great service with speed. I moved to Florida from Atlanta and stumbled upon this location. I wouldn't take my son anywhere else in Melbourne. Our barber is the gentleman with dreads and glasses. He rinsed my kids hair and reignited is curly hair with a very appealing cut.

when i used to actually get haircuts, this is where i would come. you definitely have to know how to take a joke, because the barbers know how to keep a conversation going for long periods of time, whether you're getting a cut or you're waiting for one. even if they're talking the whole time, the quality of the cuts from all three of them are very top notch and is consistent every time. from someone that previously came from hair cuttery of all places, this is where i would recommend someone if they needed a hella bomb haircut. and where i would go, if i wasn't growing my hair out.

oh, and don't ever expect to see the tv turned on. i haven't been there since they moved locations but i was surprised to see in the pictures online of their new shop that they brought that thing back

I first found this place about a year ago when I retired from Connecticut. It is a most friendly place, provided a great haircut. I have just gotten my third haircut and each time I witnessed the staff, there are three barbers, do quality work as I watched while waiting and getting my cut. Makes my decision to choose Melbourne as my home. Six stars if I could.

Went early in the morning with my 1 yr old son, had the Jamaican guy, didnt cetch his name! I drove from satellite beach and i dont regret it. He was amazing with my son! He did such a great job i will definitly be returning with him for future hair cuts. After being let down a couple times on his haircuts, thank you for doing a great job!

All the barbers are skilled! Each has cut my 8 year old's hair some time over the past two years. The cut is clean, quick, and worth the wait. In our presence, the language is appropriate or adjusted for little ears. We look forward to many years of skin fades.

We went there today and my son got his hair done! Was amazing! They did an awesome job and the were so busy but handled everyone with care and made everyone feel welcome.

I wish I had taken a picture the first time I went but coming here for my first haircut in a barber shop was really enjoyable. Everyone around made me feel comfortable and safe. I was always a bit scared of barber shops because back home women are not really allowed in but here I enjoyed my time.

Went in to get my beard trimmed. The lady working their was beyond professional, courteous, and did an amazing job. Nobody but her will trim this ZZ top from now on. Not to mention their prices are awesome.
