I have been going to Betsy since I was 22-23 (currently 32) and she has never ONCE made me feel like I wasn't important to her as a client or as a friend. Spending time in her chair is seriously a pleasure. I love catching up and swapping stories. She really looks at you as a person and not a client and she has not missed her calling!! I always walk away with confidence and get so many compliments on my hair and have recommended her to everyone that asks. Thank you Betsy for years of outstanding service ❤

Betsy is fantastic! I never thought it mattered to have the same stylist taking care of your hair until I met Betsy and then I had to keep going back to her. She gives wonderful advice on how to care for my hair and it’s never looked better. She has even given plenty of advice to my husband and gotten him to be more adventurous! The salon is wonderful, kind and affordable. I really feel like I get pampered and listened too while I am there. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for quality service and hair care.

I’ve seen Betsy since 2018 for haircuts and coloring services and I couldn’t be happier with my hair! Being in college when I first started seeing her and now teaching, I don’t have a lot of time to get my hair done regularly, but whenever I find the time, I go to BEkind. I’ve never had such a relaxing, fun experience anywhere else! From the first moment I met Betsy, I felt like we were old friends and that warmth has kept me coming back. I can’t say enough good things about this salon!!

Betsy is an excellent hair designer. She took the time to understand my desired cut and my hair type. The cut is outstanding and her service was top notch. Her space is also clean and welcoming - I highly recommend.

Betsy does a wonderful job cutting my hair, is super personable and kind, and is very accommodating with appointments. I love that the salon just has two seats - with the pandemic, all of the safety measures make me feel confident that I am safe, and also that Betsy and her other customers are safe. I recently had my husband and 9 year old son start getting their haircuts with Betsy as well.

The salon is cozy and modern, the services and products offered are just right, and the pricing is very comparable (if not a little less) than what I've paid at other salons, with the benefit of not having to worry about losing your stylist every few months when they move on.

BEkind Salon is my go-to place to get my hair done. Both Betsy and Mary are amazing at what they do, and I always walk out feeling beautiful. I'm not sure a review with a word limit will do BEkind Salon justice. I have a lot to say and not enough space to do it. When you walk through the doors of the salon your worries melt away. You're greeted by Betsy's incredibly warm smile and in any other year she'd give you a hug (although COVID-19 has banned anything good from this world). Betsy takes time and care to listen to what you'd like in regard to your hair (but don't worry she also cares about you as a person and really takes interest in you). I love that Betsy gives me her professional opinion when I ask for something - she'd never say no but I always trust what she has to say when it comes to some of my Pinterest hair ideas! I've loved every single haircut, color and even wedding hairstyle. Betsy has become a part of my life in the most special of ways. She's seen me after a stressful day at work, colored my hair when a pandemic hit when all I wanted was a change, and even was with me on my wedding day to make my hair incredibly beautiful. You can trust her for everything you'd ever need. I give Betsy and BEkind salon my highest recommendation because they deserve it! I promise you won't need to look anywhere else for a salon once you've walked through the doors of BEkind!

I recently sought out a new salon after moving to Milwaukee. I have very thick hair and had one person cut it my entire life until I found Betsy! She is amazing at hair and makes you feel at home in the salon, taking the time to get to know you and make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The salon is cute, warm and with lots of love. I’ve been going to Betsy for probably 4+ years and every time, I’m happy with my cut/color. We’ve transitioned my color from highlights to balayage this year and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Betsy also did all our hair for my wedding!

I recently saw Betsy at BEKind salon for the first time. What a lovely experience! The salon is super cute, very clean, both Betsy and I were masked, so I felt very comfortable even in the midst of the pandemic. Betsy took time to give me a proper consultation about my hair needs, what I do and don't do to style it, and any concerns I have. I felt very heard, and not at all rushed.

I was waaaaay overdue for a cut and color, and Betsy gave me a gorgeous highlight and cut/style. During the color rinsing, she treated me to a hair mask, a great head massage, a warm towel wrapped on my neck and face, and then gave me an eye mask and spritzed the room with aromatherapy. It was wonderful, and oh so relaxing.

I also had Betsy give me an eyebrow wax - excellent results here as well. Overall, it was a great experience; I came away feeling beautiful and rested after receiving true pampering. I highly recommend her services!

As a guy, this is my favorite place to get a haircut. Betsy does an outstanding job each and every time. I get my hair done exactly as I want. And if I'm not sure what I want, she has great suggestions on what to try. Betsy is a kind, attentive, and sociable person. Fun conversations and a relaxed atmosphere. I've looked for Betsy for decades. Best stylist I've had in my lifetime. My first love was her impeccable short pixie cuts, but for the first time in 20 years, I've been able to grow my hair longer as she has gotten me through the difficult growth stages.
