Southport Market

I'm not one to rave about stores but this general store was a pleasure to shop at. Very nice and diverse selection of products and souvenirs, including many locally-sourced ones. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to visit while you are in Southport.

Those is a vacation one stop shopping. Ice cream bar, candy by the pound. Soap, beard balm, clothes specifically beach attire, flip flops for the entire family. Local gift items, speciality, hand made ware, kitchen gadgets, towels, hammocks, etc. It's a huge store so plan to be here a while.

The Southport Market, located in the former BB&T Bank building, is a must see attraction when visiting Southport. They offer all the best in fudge, ice cream, canned jams and in a short bit of candies as well as provisions. It is highly shopped by locals and tourists alike! If you look in the far right corner you’ll see they retained the vault! Now filled with beer instead of money! The owner is pictured with a head cashier. They are very service oriented and fun!

Loads of cool gifts, food and drinks. Very clean and well taken care of. Great selection of local goods too.

Southport Market is great! They have a ton of great and beautiful gifts! Going in to shop will definitely be a great experience! Have a great day!

Love the local shop.. It has great things to pick from

It's a market of quality local products, ice cream, jams, jellies, clothing, and gift items that is well done in one large building. It is not a typical touristy nick knack shop. We enjoyed ice cream on two separate occasions. There is a shaded pergola and benches to sit out the back door.

Very nice place! Friendly staff. So many things to look at and choose from. You can definitely find something here for everyone. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in Southport or around the area. (We stayed in Oak Island)

Great place to shop for local goodies!

A wonderful place to find unique items for gifts and souvenirs of your vacation! The ice cream is reasonable and SO good! We loved the fudge and hot roasted nuts! The baked goods at Southport Market were also excellent and they have so many nice clothing and home decor items! Absolutely must stop when you are near the waterfront!

This is a cute little market located in the heart of Southport. There are tons selections from shirts and hats to classic glass bottle sodas. My wife and I always find the Old Bay table and find something to try. They also serve ice cream and have beer and wine for sale as well. Take a few minutes to look for homemade salsas and jams. Definitely make it a point to stop if you're in the area.

Love this place! The ice cream is cold and good and the walk to the water is short and sweet.

We have been invited to set up our lemonade stand outside in their seating area. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 11:00 am to 4:00 pm . Best lemonade in the galaxy.

Clean, modern with loads of items to select for gifts, etc. Great variety of clothing, fudge, and the like. A must visit place while in southport. Friendly helpful staff.

This has become a hot spot here in southport. They offer tons of great items some hard to find as well. They utilize the space they have very well and off everything from old time candy, drinks; to clothing and local face creams as well as bath bombs. I love going here and their homemade fudge and ice cream is delicious. The workers are very courteous and friendly. My kids love going there for their wide array of candies and drinks too.

Nice place lots of nik nacks, clothing and sweets. Got there right before closing so didn’t get to see it all. Will be back

Great place to browse around. Real old time general store feel. Fun and nostalgic.

This is a very neat store! If you want it from Southport, you can get it here. Shirts, fudge, towels, ice cream, bags, jams. I found the prices to be what I expected. They have a lot of obviously old decorations, so maybe don’t believe the posted prices of vintage machines and coolers. $2 for a soda that’s cold and available and you didn’t have to carry around in a cooler of ice is probably worth it. $2 for a kids scoop of ice cream that’s really two scoops is just fine to me as well! I’ll make this my first stop when we come back. Also, my toddler fell immediately when we got in there and a cashier brought out a bag of ice for him. So kind!

Recently discovered this place and had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and you see a lot of unique gifts and shirts here. They say the fudge is the best in Southport; I disagree. It's some of the best in North Carolina!
