Bob's Dogs

Lovely place to stop in quickly for lunch. Hot dogs were phenomenal! They roast the sausages and steam the buns. So it’s a great texture experience as well as flavor. The lemonade is made in house and is very tasty. All the staff were very friendly and it was a super cheerful atmosphere.

(For food allergies: Only nuts I saw were in the cookies. Hot dog buns contain wheat, soy, and sesame. They were in a big bin in the front where you could easily read the label 😊)

Got 3 hot dogs, and they were so good, I went back up and ordered another. I loved them all, and the key lime pie cookie sandwich was delicious as well. Tried the lemonade for my drink and thought it was awesome.

A unique little place off the road folks have to find the sign to see where to turn. The variety of hot dogs and a couple of burger choices make this location a great place for young children and grandparents to enjoy one of life’s simple meals. Sitting is limited inside but several picnic tables outside under the trees.

This is the review!! This picture tells it all! I ordered the Taco dog, and a order of fries. When I tell you that Taco dog was amazing..That's an understatement!! Friendly, fast, fresh, and delicious!! I will be back to sample more of your delicious dogs!! Fries were hot and I was in and out in a jiffy! I Loved it!! I will definitely be back!

The people who work here.. work hard. Every time I come in they're super busy and cranking out orders like crazy! Small inside seating area available for dine-in which is nice. It's a bit awkward to stand in line due to the way the place is set up, but whatever - don't let that stop you! I like their hotdogs best and would come here over other places.

I wish I lived closer. It's been nine months since I was there and at least once a week, I think "I wish I could go to Bob's for a hotdog". I tried a bunch of different ones while I was on Oak Island and they were all delicious. The Jamaican relish was superb. I wish I could've brought some home.

Best hot dogs on Oak Island!! Staff are very friendly and will cut up with you like they have known you for years. Highly recommend the Taco Dog!! Homemade cookies are tasty also!

The drinks taste a little off but other then that everything was really good the food was delicious and it wasn't expensive either. A nice place to get a quick lunch even when crowded we was able to get our food in a matter of minutes

This is one of my favorite places to go when we are in Oak Island!! The hot dogs are delicious, and so are the fries! The taco dog is my absolute favorite!

It's a great little place to stop, grab a dog, some fries and a drink. Its clean and service is excellent. They have specialty dogs or build your own. I have enjoyed everything I have 3ver gotten there.

Don't forget to ring the bell on the way out!

I tried the Island Dog and the Surf'n'turf. I would love to try others, but would have a tough time not choosing these two again.

Loved this local joint! Great hot dogs... Some old classics, and some new and original like the surf and turf, which is a hot dog topped with shrimp and cocktail sauce. The homemade lemonade is excellent!! And be sure to save space for one of their fresh-baked cookie creations or a cookie ice cream sandwich.

Super cute local joint! Fresh lemonade and orangeade is delicious. Hot dogs and chicken salad sandwich were awesome too! Definitely worth a stop!

This place was sooo good!! Our hot dogs and fries were great!! The Key Lime stuffed cookie was sooo yummy!!

Fun little shop. The Oak island hot dog and BLT was very tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful in making our selection. There is room outside to eat as well. There are about 6 tables, so not much room on a busy day. No free refills.

I love a good chilli dog and this place is great. Seen a person eating one of their burgers and wish I would have gotten that.

Awesome first time there, had the caswell bch dog, the taco dog, and fries. Freakin delicious.

Extremely impressed by the prices. The food was great, made to order, and quickly served. The fries were particularly good and the dog variety was great.

My only criticism would be the naming convention of the dogs as I overlooked the Tiki Dog until my wife pointed out it had brisket, slaw, and BBQ sauce - not what I would remotely think of when reading the name.

But hey, if that's the downside it just means I'll be back every summer! Can't wait to be back next year.

Great dogs, great prices, great service, great lemonade. Will be back for more!
