Bull Frog Corner

My son and I were so excited to go here, especially after seeing all the lovely pictures. The store looks so much like the photos (even the ones from 5 years ago). There’s so much to look at. Prices are fairly reasonable in my opinion. The candy selection was HUGE! Lots of stuffed animals and the wind chimes sound so pretty. The kind woman who was working was so sweet and polite. She was very welcoming and happily answered our questions about the jelly belly beans. She even made sure to let us know that the slingshot had had ammo near it that could go with it if we wanted. If I am ever back in this area, I will definitely be coming back!

Very Honest, cute store, nice gift shop. Plenty of nice gift choices for your children or grandchildren and good Old Fashion Candy in big barrels too. The home decor gift section is also nice and different from your average store. It’s a small shop but worth the visit when you’re in town. Also, honest shoppers and owners. My friend accidentally left her wallet behind and someone turned it in untouched. My friend was visiting from out of state and the owner worked very hard to find a telephone number to contact her.

I always enjoy visiting for that unique gift and great old time candy selection. The owner is always so friendly and really gives this place that personal charm that the rest of Southport is slowly loosing. I highly recommend stopping in for a visit!

If in Southport with kids stop at this store. It is like seeing Christmas in their eyes. A whole store with mostly toys, but also enough variety of items for adults to brose and purchase, too. Counter lady is very helpful. Store is full but set up nicely. Have purchased items in here. Always stop when have family or visitors here. Great location for walking around and to it. Pay attention to the lights. Can get lunch, shop, get here easily from parking or the walk up from park as they are at the corner of the main intersection a block from the park and water!

Purchased some of our favorite children’s books here! Wonderful local authors featured and special gift items! It’s a not to be missed stop when visiting Southport!

Bull Frog Corner is one of my favorite places to visit in Southport! The flags are waving on the corner as you approach the shop, music is playing piped to the street so you can hear it as you come in to visit, there's an Old Time Candy shop, many nautical theme gifts, of course plus so many wonderful choices in the children's department from books to games to stuffed animals.. My grandchildren love it!.. for my family, no trip to Southport is complete without a stop at Bull Frog corner!

We love this toy shop. You don't see many around like this anymore. My daughter loves to go in there and look at all of the toys. It has become quite a tradition to always go in this shop.

Bull Frog Corner is a great place to visit in South Port. This little shop has so much product to look at including candy, mostly sold by the pound. If you are a jelly belly fan this is your go to place while visiting anywhere in the Oak Island area. Be sure to stop by and give this little shop a visit.

Friendly staff and excellent gifts wall to wall. The owner kindly gave me a postcard to take with me for my trip back to Manchester UK when hearing my accent. Nice store, many thanks for the pleasant conversation

Nothing is better than the Bullfrog! The owner, Marianne has done an incredible job. She’s a true inspiration!!! If you’re in Oak Island, Southport, Wilmington, or any of the surrounding areas, you need to visit Bullfrog Corner!!! It is THE BEST!!!!!!!!! You rock Marianne !!!!!!

The most iconic gift shop in Southport! Has something for everyone and of everything! Nicely organized and it's always easy to find something you'll love!

All kinds of goodies in here! My girls and I spent well over and hour browsing through everything! Books! Toys! Stuffed animals galore! Candy room and plenty more!

Not the cheapest place but the store is packed wall to wall with something for just about everyone. When you go there, give yourself extra time to see it all. Loved the model sailboats!
