Love this place SO MUCH! My favorite bartender is Misty, but they're all amazing. The food was good, but the Melissa (Alma owner) took over- FANTASTIC! It's now a true "Gastro-dive! If you haven't been, go!

Great backyard area! You can bring your doggies too. Excellent tacos, nachos and Berrian! Oysters too!

Great bunch of people behind this joint. This place's just outside the city food continues to place it heads above most of the restaurants in the heart of New Orleans proper. Highly highly recommend Whiskey Bayou

A local joint. Food. Occasional bands. Trivia night. Outside seating. The building won't win any architectural awards. But so what. Quite often you get beautiful sunset views just by stepping outside and looking down St. Bernard Highway.

Great middle location for St. bernard & Nola friend! We had margaritas, steak tacos, and guac. Everything was good!

Local place in Arabi. Don't let the little place fool you. They have a good beer selection and friendly staff, but the secret is how good the food is. From tacos to wings to sandwiches, they were all good. The Cuban, good. The fried chicken sandwich, good. The street corn dip, good. The fries were so good. I felt bad leaving them, but I could not eat anymore.

A little bit of New Orleans good times in Old Arabi. Can't say enough good about this venue. We adore hanging out on Saturday nights watching the live band but the indoor bar is great too! Can't go wrong. Must visit!

Friendly helpful bartenders, good vibes, and a beautiful garden area. Good prices on drinks and merchandise too. Worth the short drive!

Live music in the back, really nice patio area. Good selection of liquor and beers. Food is a little pricey for bar food, but the tacos are good and just right for a late snack.

Oh my goodness the redneckery is abundant in the decorations of this establishment! I use this as a compliment so please don't take it negatively! This place was great a lil small but not cramped and the food was delicious! They had so many menu items to choose from!!! They also have great drink specials. The bartender was the absolute sweetest. I attended on karaoke night. IT WAS FABULOUS! Those people did not come out to play around. Overall awesome first experience!

Such an amazing experience. The atmosphere is perfect. The burgers were fantastic! But the staff was everything I look for in a locals spot. As someone who's spent a lifetime in hospitality, these folks made it memorable. Most def will be back. Well done!

Came to New Orleans and stayed a couple minutes from here. Walked to this bar every night. Ryan the bartender was awesome! Super nice and sociable. Loved the fact that it was all locals that went there and not a tourist bar. Monday is karaoke night and that was a blast! Highly recommend this place.

Great place. And here's their menu as of fall 2023, so you don't have to hunt around on their website, instagram or here, fruitlessly... before finally finding it buried in their photos on Facebook!

Fair priced beer with a decent selection, great atmosphere. Food from chew rouge is excellent.everything we have ordered was perfect and the menu rivals any I've seen in a pub/bar establishment in the quarter. Definitely a new favorite!

We went here to grab a small bite and have a beer, but the kitchen was closed unfortunately (closed on Tuesdays). But the bartender was super friendly and fun to talk to. Good choice of drinks and the food sounds good so we'll have to make another trip back to try it out.

. Imagine queso Blanco, jalapenos black bean sauce all the other good stuff that makes nachos great but with waffle (or shoestring) fries!!. And add beef or chicken if you want.

THIS is our go to spot...several times a week. The ladies who own this establishment are like family and we love them so much. Just minutes from the French Quarter, but without the FQ prices. The crowd is friendly and always get top notch service. Oh, and there is a pool table! THIS is THE place to be!!!!

Misty was the best. Great friendly service and fair prices. I didn't eat but from what I saw it looked very good and the menu is affordable. Nice little spot.

When I went to New Orleans I found this little gem not too far from where I was staying. It's not very big but very friendly, nicely decorated with tones of character. I would definitely recommend if your passing by.
