Franklin Avenue Baptist Church

I started going to the Sunday Morning Services and I love Senior Pastor Fred teaching and hearing from the different pastors preaching too. Than August came around and they had great things going on there. I enjoyed the time of the 35 peoples and all day Saturday new beginer class. It's been a great experience so far.

I friend & I attended The Lincoln Beach redevelopment program, which was held at this beautiful church. The choir was in another section of the building rehearsing, for Sunday services and my oh my, they were outstanding!

Was there Friday and Saturday Life proof Conference with Beth Moore!! Loved my visit. Everyone was so nice but what a blessing we ALL received!

We were welcomed from the time we got out of the car until the time that we got back in to travel to the cruise port. Dr. Luter has done a fine job as the shepherd of this church and should be commented for such. May God continue to bless Dr. Luter and his congregation. Job well done as being the hands and feet of Jesus!

I love this place because the Word of God is spoken by a Pastor whose life reflects God's love, grace and mercy. The atmosphere makes you feel like we all are family and welcome in God's house! The ministries are active in helping the community. When you leave, you know you've been in the presence of God.

The 1st time I visited I knew this was where I wanted to place my membership. My husband and I joined a few visits later and we have no regrets. Pastor Luter is a true man of God. There is only one offering on Sunday with no offering at bible study. Although this is a church that believes in tithing the Pastor does not beat it over your head every sermon. The choir sings old school songs which I absolutely love with a few newer songs in between. I absolutely love that there is also a children's church as well. I can go on and on but you will have to experience it for yourself.

I visited this church yesterday with a friend of a friend. I am so appreciative of her invitation to attend service. Everyone was very welcoming and loving. The music was great and the message was awesome. I would definitely visit again when I am in the area. I want to personally thank Hermine for such an awesome experience.

My husband and I have been members since the late 90's until present. Growing up Catholic, we were never taught from the Bible. We have had the best experiences since joining this church. Pastor Luter and the FABC family are so welcoming. I have learned so much about the word of God and he explains it so that you may grow in your walk with God. If you are searching for a church home, this is the place to go! Love my church!

I attended Bible study this morning and was truly filled with the word. It's a Blessing to be in the surrounding of Christian people that serve and love God were you could walk out and say Thank you Jesus. I encourage all to join us 11 am on Wednesday and 6:30 PM on Wednesday you will be Blessed. Amen

Beautifully designed under the Cross church. From parking attendents as I was driving through the gates, to parking assistants, , door entrance, registration, breakfast, opening program and directions to the classrooms and excellent teachers , it was a Sunday School Teachers Conference planned to perfection. With all that was going on God was and is in control of it all. You could feel the presence of His Love and Word come to life.

This is my family's church and we absolutely love it❣Pastor Fred (Luter) is one of the most humble and realest persons I've met and know personally, in spite of this being one of the biggest churches in New Orleans. During his sermons, he regularly calls members by name for both the in person as well as virtual service, which makes me feel like he's a genuine minister who cares for his flock and isn't just trying to get over on people and "take their money" as many people complain about. I love our church and would like to invite you to a service to see for yourself. It's a big church with a little church vibe, especially when everyone breaks out from the main sanctuary and go into their Sunday School classes aka "small groups", pre-COVID. But now since we're battling with Covid, the ushers have the seating in the main sanctuary blocked off, every other row for social distancing and you must wear a mask. There hasn't been any in-person Sunday School classes as their offered online only now. So put on your mask and bring your bible to dive into the study of

It is a place of true worship, The Word of God is being preached without all of the theatrics. The songs of praise usher in the Spirit of the Lord that will have you "walking up the King's Highway". When you leave the worship service your soul is on fire. Hallelujah Glory to God!

One of the best pastors of this time. His strength is relate-ability to his members and guests. His preaching style is refreshing and welcoming. The church has many functions and the space and capacity to service its community.

Pastor Luter and the entire congregation is 100 percent. Praise is always in the house. Extra care and detail is taken to make everyone feel safe. Everyone is welcome. The online worship is also phenomenal.

Friendly members, a great choir and conductor. The pastor gave a wonderful talk regarding goals for 2020, options for achieving them, and the need for fasting, including the benefits of it. He has a friendly, loving, sense of humor.

I've been at this church all my life. Highly Recommended. Love you Pastor Fred! Summer Camp, Vacation Bible School, the multiple ministries let you have fun learning about the Lord's word.
