Gerald's Donuts

Have to give a 5 star because it is more than a 4 star. Open 24 hours. Nice little diner which was what we wanted. Donuts are great and breakfast was fine too. Big Ole pancake too. Nice to have a 24 hour place like this.

Stopped here to pick up a friends gender reveal king cake which I didn’t know anyone did. Ended up getting a small one for myself just to try and it was pretty good. Definitely made fresh and icing was good. They have different sizes and flavors they ranged from 22 to 5 for the small One I got. I have had their breakfast a few times and it is good and so are the burgers!

Great food, friendly staff, open all night, and just a stone’s throw from Jackson Barracks. This place is the best! I’ve been coming here for years. Try the most flavorful burgers in New Orleans or the best donuts around. Their omelettes are great too!

Always loved their food and the staff knows us by name. Not fond of the smoking in the video poker that you can smell when the doors open.

I visited this place on yesterday and I would like to recommend the hot sausage poboy and the apple fritter. They were delicious

We randomly stopped by bc the kids wanted something sweet. We had never been before and asked the girl to give us a dozen of her favorite doughnuts. Even at 5pm the doughnuts were soft and so good. She was super sweet and if we find ourselves back that we we will stop again.

A little pricey but the onion rings are fresh not frozen and delicious donuts 🍩 are delicious too 😁

Love coming here. Donuts are fresh and tasty. Food is delicious. Employees are attentive and nice. The cook loves his job. I can tell by the food he prepares. Always smiling.

Excellent little diner! The food is tasty and the customer service is superb! They have a good variety of donuts and they are always fresh. Their pancakes are so good, and their bacon is perfectly crisp.

The waitresses that have helped us every time we go to Gerald's are very sweet and helpful. They did get our order a bit wrong once, but it was no big deal and an easy fix. They're amazing.

I highly recommend the spicy burger.

Outstanding service and traditional king cakes baked fresh!

Fantastic service! Great place to eat, everyone is so nice and kind and wonderful. Went here with my wife on our honeymoon, and our server Mandy was just incredible. She truly made the experience special. We even bought two king cakes to take home to family. Thank you Mandy! You rock!

Tawana and Mandy were incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts! We were just visiting town and they chatted us up, shared with us all the best food places in town and couldn’t be more enthusiastic about sharing the best dishes at Gerald’s. And the food was great! the atmosphere too. Felt like a spot with real history. Beautiful outdoor eating area, counter, and regular indoor seating. Serving all kinds of food at all hours. We will be back during this trip.

Outstanding food went back the next day and got some donuts. They were great.
