I like their sushi, it’s small and flavorful, we ordered a specialty roll, I will definitely come back again! I’m extremely picky with sushi!

The food and service matches one another, basically great amazing food, and so are the ladies whom work there!

Staff is always greeting us with a friendly smile. Place is always clean and ready to be seated. We always enjoy our time when we dine in. Food is always served hot and very tasty. They also have a good selection of sushi rolls which are good.

This place made my weekend! My new favorite hibachi place. We are so happy to have this pace in the Parish. Excellent rice!! The fish is great quality. service was excellent they were very helpful with what I was trying to order the hibachi was amazing the portions were huge. Everything I have had here has been very good. And if you get the dinner you will be way too full. The value can't be beat...

I was very impressed with the quality of the wait staff. The waitress made it a point to make eye contact with me and check on how our party was doing, also kept us updated on the status of our order while we were waiting. I ordered sushi and it was good. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely be eating here again.

I've ordered from here several times, and I gotta say their steak hibachi with the as always knocked it out the park. Lately I've gotten a couple of rolls, the cowboy roll and the snow crab Naruto I highly recommend

This place is soooo underrated!! I absolutely love everything here. They are wayyy better than Umi and very well-priced! My family of 5 can eat a ton for under $60!!

The food is great. For example the vocano role isn't bad at all. Also if you like squid get the squid steak it's a whole squid. The rice,noodles, and sushi are great. If you get their sushi at night, which they close at 9:30AM, the sushi will be good next morning for lunch it's great. Can't complain about this place if you want a good and filling meal before going home and sleeping this is the place for you. Soup is great. It's really a good thing to start out with and maybe request 2 it's just great. Their service is polite and greeting. So it's a 5 STAR.

The chief & staff are great, the food was wonderful! My grandsons are on a Godzilla craze & they were so happy to eat Japanese, and pretend to be Godzilla, gobbling up different seafood. The winner was the fry calamari, all that was left was the sweet chili sauce!

Asakusa has quickly become my new favorite restaurant! My wife and I are averaging at least one visit per week. Everything we have had has been EXCELLENT! We love the sushi (tuna sandwich is my favorite) and hibachi. All of the items included in the hibachi entree are incredible. Staff are all very nice and the sushi bar chefs are the best! Wow, after writing this review, I’m craving it again. See you there!

This is the one of the most consistent and best restaurants in the parish. The food is always fresh and tastes great, and the service is always just as good.

Small unassuming place with great food at great prices. The rolls we had (spicy tuna and eel) were delicious, and provided enough food for an additional meal. We also had chicken yaki soba, which was also delicious and generously portioned.

Delicious sushi - I’d definitely recommend their New Orleans roll (Crawfish, crunchy, avocado, spicy tuna, snow crab, wasabi tobiko & eel sauce) and their simple Philadelphia roll.

The atmosphere is cozy and at dinner hour the place really livened up. There is a sushi bar to the left of the dining area tables immediately to the right and booths towards the back of the room.

There's also a bar on the far right with a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Asakusa also serves authentic Japanese beer and sake, which is really appreciated.

Food at Asakusa is excellent for American style sushi. The appetizer plate was enough for two, and each roll of sushi is complete with gari (ginger slices) and wasabi. Flavors in each sushi roll are very well balanced and do not overwhelm the palate.

Servers at Asakusa were very kind and attentive. They checked in every now and then to see if my friend and I were comfortable and satisfied.

We had the Asakusa roll, the snowcrab Naruto, the heart attack roll, and the burning man roll. All were super fresh and delicious! My boyfriend is not fond of most sauces, so they were glad to serve them all on the side (because I love sauces). The Asakusa roll is definitely worth trying! We will absolutely be back! So glad we have a great sushi restaurant again!

OH my GAWD. I can never get enough sushi from here, it's AMAZING. But whatever you do, do not save the sushi for the next day....your insides will hate you after loving you the night before.

My Wife and I have been there 3 or 4 times and the food is always great and the service is excellent. Very big portions.

My friends and I had the FEMA, Chalmette, Burning Man and Sexiest Man rolls and they were AMAZING! Can't wait to go back.
