Looking Meadow Cafe

Staff was super friendly, food was good, and it was great to see the guy making biscuits right at the counter.
The berry muffin was the best I’ve ever had (vegan or not). The biscuit & gravy was good for vegan. My wife had the quiche.
The one slight ding is that we arrived 30 minutes after opening but they still had to warm up the oven to make our food. It was fine because we were in no rush but other times it might have been an issue.

Really yummy and cute inside!! I got 4 donuts and we tried the biscuit sandwiches and they are AMAZING!! And they serve breakfast all day 😃 Love seeing new vegan places popping up, definitely going back to try everything in the menu!

My favorite cafe in St. Louis. The food is so delicious , pastries are such a treat, and the drinks are made beautifully. Everyone is so nice every time I visit.

I was hesitant about a vegan chai donut, but it was dense like a cake donut and so tasty! The biscuits and "sausage" gravy satisfied the craving for a meat free version. Service was upbeat and speedy. The cafe is clean, has a light atmosphere that is both cozy and open.

The pastries and coffee we've had for years from their farmers market booth are incredible, and we are so lucky they have a brick and mortar location now! The service is great and both the patio and indoor seating are clean and relaxing! The french dip sandwich has quickly become our favorite lunch option :)

Visited the coffee shop and indulged in a delightful latte, so exceptional that a second order was a must! The staff exhibited a commendable level of friendliness, offering valuable recommendations. The service was prompt, adding to the overall positive experience. I am delighted to have such a fantastic coffee shop in the vicinity, highly recommended. While I didn't have the opportunity to sample the food, the offerings looked enticing, prompting anticipation for a return visit, perhaps for breakfast or lunch.

Pastries are delicious! A good selection of different treats. Nice homey welcoming vibe. I came with a couple people that aren't vegan and they also love it.

I had a vegan apple fritter, vegan blueberry muffin, and vegan oatmeal cookie! They make all their syrups in house and contrary to many baked goods I consume, I felt BETTER after having eaten them. You can tell they bake love and quality ingredients into everything they make!!!

I’m so excited to have a new plant based cafe in town and will be returning every time I’m in town.

I absolutely love Looking Meadow, and what a joy that they have their lovely new physical location! Having a beautiful all-vegan cafe in Maplewood is a dream come true. Their menu is excellent: their pastries are fantastic, and their breakfast and lunch menus also delightful (everything is great—their quiche and French dip sandwich being particular favorites of mine.) The space is also fantastic—a charming big patio across the street from a park, and a beautifully-painted spacious interior space. Highly recommend!

They serve the best Americano I’ve had in St. Louis. Food is great, the bread is really fresh and the servers are friendly, and seem relaxed. Great place, highly recommend it

I visited the café today for the first time with a friend of mine. I had the mock tuna melt with potato salad, and it was absolutely delicious. I topped it off with a vanilla latte. Unfortunately I did not have room for dessert, but that will come soon. My friend had the mock tuna salad sandwich, and also enjoyed the potato salad. He had a sparkling, lemonade what he said was delicious. We sat out on the large patio and it was quite comfortable. There is plenty of room inside with various seating choices. Service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend! Looking forward to going back for breakfast and for some of those delicious looking baked treats!

I've loved going to Looking Meadow's farmers market booth for a while, and I am thrilled that they finally have a physical location! The food is absolutely amazing, as is the coffee. There is also plenty of space for studying/ hanging out. I love the patio and can tell I will be spending a lot of time there.

I'm really pleased to see a new cafe in this location, because I've always loved this building and think it is just so well suited to a cafe. Service was great and the staff were friendly. Coffee and food was delicious!

Absolutely thrilled to finally have Looking Meadow in the neighborhood! Everything we have gotten has been amazing: donuts, both coffee and matcha lattes, biscuit sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, loaded toasts. All incredible! Jamie (the owner) has brought incredible vegan food to Maplewood, and we couldn't be happier. Definitely try this place, even if you aren't vegan. You'll love it.

First time here today for lunch, and won’t be the last! Fantastic food and friendly service. Really enjoyed the French dip sandwich! I’ve been vegetarian for years, but this one reminded me of the real thing. Highly recommended!

The best coffee and the best baked goods, consistently blows me away with the quality and taste of their products! Go here once and you'll be hooked from then on like I am. :) Lovely, kind people work there as well.

Love this new spot. Good food options and great coffee. I would appreciate some more gf options but there are a couple now.

Food and coffee were both awesome and the staff were welcoming and kind, especially to our two little children! We are excited to go back soon. I’d highly recommend the hazelnut toast!
