Lowe's Home Improvement

This review is specifically for an employee at Lowe’s in the electrical department. Eddy has to be your best employee there. I’m a contractor and have been shopping at this Lowe’s for years. Eddy has helped me time and time again. Most people in this store have no technical knowledge of any of the products, domestically employees (especially the kids) will shy away from helping when I lock eyes for help. But Eddy is always there to save the day. Thank you for helping me and so many people Eddy.

I cannot express enough how awesome Trevor was in the paint department! He was friendly and went above and beyond to help my husband and I. Hang on to him, it’s rare to have someone like that help these days!!!

Although last year I was denied credit at Lowe's, recently I went in because I needed to buy a lawn tractor. Because I'm getting older it has been getting harder to walk behind the more to cut the grass. I talked to one of the sales associates there and applied for credit and I got quite a bit actually. I was able to buy the lawn tractor I wanted which is a John Deere 130. I had to put some of it on another card because I didn't get a big enough credit line but I was very happy that I was finally able to get the lawn tractor I wanted.

I see you, Mr Secret Shopper. In the twenty thousand square feet provided for patrons to shop, you invade the tiniest of personal space with your pretend shopping and fake needing the very same 1/4" fitting as the real shoppers at the exact same time. You defy all odds and you know not 1one boundarie!

Very clean and helpful staff. Went for one thing and wound up with extra stuff. Their decor is amazing! I cannot wait to install our new home improvement products.

My cashier was awesome! Super friendly and made the wait time in line go by quickly. I found everything I was looking for and had no issues. I prefer to shop here over other hardware stores as I usually find what I need right away.

They have pretty much everything you need or want. Easy to find everything you need, but if you need any help the employees will for sure help you out.

Great people slow sometimes but that's expected in a building needs store

We shopped at Lowe’s in Cookeville today 8/26/23 and the service was outstanding by numerous employees asking if we needed help or if we was finding what we was looking for. Peyton, the sales Associate in the Flooring department gets an A+, on his customer service. He helped us with our purchase on flooring as well, as our vanity and wallboard. Good customer service anymore is something that’s hard to find, but Cookeville Lowe’s, made the high grade today!!!!

Bought a whole skid of topsoil. Lowes personnel were very helpful in getting it loaded safely with no damage.

Our favorite place! We're building a cabin so we are here so often I think everyone knows us. Employees always ask about the progress of our home, remembering specific details. We regularly buy wood, glass, tools, etc. There's always someone to help.

Update: We were very disappointed for the store manager to tell us they were no longer going to honor the price-match policy listed online. She said it was because 1) competitors must be in the same town, and 2) they can only price-match items that aren't related to home projects.

How does that even make sense? That means most of the store is ruled out for price-matching. It's also convenient to say the competitor with the better price must be in the same town, since there aren't any.

And so, we're now driving 90 minutes away to HD. The insulation we've been buying costs $85 at Lowe's, versus $46 at HD. It's worth the drive.

I love going here. While doing renovations we spent way too much time at the hardware store. I was still always happy to come here and shop around. Staff is very nice, but much like the rest of the US they often were having some staffing issues. Believe that is improving though.

Always well stocked and usually very clean for a large box retailer. Lots of items to stop and look at.
I usually file in my memory items I may want or need in the not so distant future.
I'm always browsing the app to checkout items on sale.

Went in to the store for 3 items. Got them and came home.

Great customer service. Associate was really good.

If not for Caleb's excellent assistance, I would have surely taken far too long trying to figure out what the hell I needed.
I was genuinely surprised when he replied to my question regarding how long he's worked for Lowe's: "... about six months..."
He's an asset to your establishment. Whomever his supervisor happens to be, please take note... I've been in the service industry for 35+ years & know when I encounter an excellent employee.

Great Lowe's store. Went for lumber this time, but they are literally a toy store for me. I love this place. Tools, hardware, everything you can think of for your home, and if they don't have it, they can order it. Good guys. Great services.
