Courteous and accommodating staff, and, good, hot food. I was pleased. The lemon berry crepe was scrumptious. My son was delighted with the Wonka burger, and my husband had breakfast. So something for everyone. Server Jackie was polite and friendly. UPDATE: Went with a group of 9 on Monday night at 5:30 for dinner. Surreal and negative experience. Restaurant was empty. One waitress for entire restaurant and she seemed befuddled. It took us 45 minutes to place orders and 2 hours to get our food! Very odd. One lady ordered mashed potatoes and couldn't get them because they didn't have any unthawed. I ordered the same lemon berry crepes I'd had before, and this time they looked pathetic. I have been here many times and this is quite out of the ordinary for them. Update 2: lunch. Food good but VERY slow service.

The server was better than the food. At other tables, the food was still cold. My food was lukewarm but I did not have time to send mine back. I got the burrito bowl. The hashbrowns were very soft and white, like they were warmed and not cooked. Please cook, brown, fry my hashbrown before you put it in the bowl. I am looking for the crunch of the hashbrown. Otherwise, I might as well get a dish with regular potatoes. And stop drowning food with onions. Everywhere you go, too many onions.

Beth was our server tonight 2/13/24. If I could give her 10 stars I would!!! She was doing the work of 4 people! There was about 8 tables when we got there 2 of them parties of 5 or more...she was seating people, taking orders, running food, and cashing people out. I only seen 1 cook. The service was AMAZING, our pancakes tasted GREAT. I wish I had gotten the cooks name 😕 he made them very well. The only set back was, I'm guessing he was the manager, he didn't help with anything only coming out twice in the hour we were there, didn't speak to anyone and didn't offer Miss Beth with any help cashing out one of the tables of 6 all paying separately. Beth is a keeper!!

Stopped in for breakfast on my last morning in Cookeville TN. We had 7 people in our group. 5 adults and 2 kids. We had the best waitress ever. She was so good with the kids and there every time someone needed a refill.

We had the A-team staff! Always pleasant & Always attentive, we were well taken care of.
The food was hot, and the atmosphere cleanly.
No wait. Lots to eat. Reasonable prices.

Lovely experience because of the waitstaff. Very friendly, attentive and pleasant. It's true that people make the experience.

They have made so many improvements since the last time I was in! I stopped going here for a long time due to several bad experiences, but my visit here today was great. You can tell they are putting a lot of work into turning this place around. Thank you guys for the great breakfast! 😊

We’ve been here at least 6 times in a year.
With the storage of servers and all we still come.
This time half of the restaurant was full and we sat opposite which was 1/3 full. We waited 2 mins and got sat down. Our server was quick, greeted us, and we got our food within 20 -30 mins. We ate and left. Food was great !

Excellent breakfast! Service was second to none!!! Omelettes were hot and fresh! Country fried steak was HUGE!!! Much better than the last IHOP we went to!!!

Service was great. Food was okay. I asked for soft scrambled eggs but they were alittle too soft (almost runny) and I wanted my bacon crispy...it was limp and greasy. I'd go again to give them another go at getting my order right!

This location deserve 10 stars because they were packed, running around like crazy and trying to keep up with the crowd and never lost touch of customer service. We were passing through on a road trip and I'm so glad we stopped at this location.

Breakfast was great, food was tasty. Staff was friendly. This experience was great will definitely come back when in Sparta, TN

Excellent food, amazing service, and they were short staffed. I came in today, January 15th, and I cannot say one bad thing. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THE STAFF TODAY, Y'ALL ARE KILLIN IT! Just look at that stack! 😍

Great service and very fast getting sat down very fast and getting drinks and are food.

Went for a late-night pancake run with co-workers on a Friday night. The waitress and staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again.

First the food is amazing I got chicken and it was by far the best I've had second the workers are very friendly and third it's very quiet and calm the atmosphere is incredible all in all 5 out of 5 stars

We were a bit leary given this locations review rating, but the omelets and pancakes we had were great; the omelets were huge (bigger than we get in most IHOPs). Service was fine too. Worth a stop. The only thing I wish we'd been warned about was the dreaded Cookeville water!

The food here is always so delicious. I love eating here and am sad they have such a hard time keeping staff. The employees who are there are hardworking and always make the experience there good.

Mostly always have good experiences at IHOP but sometimes can come across young workers that don't feel like cooking certain foods even though they definitely have the ingredients but say "They are out". That's my only flaw with IHOP just wish we had better workers like we used to. But the other day we went and there was a different manager and they cooked everything we asked for and the food was the best I've ever had there so it was a way better experience than before. So I hope those people will still be there cause they are fantastic workers and great cooks! 😊✨
