My boyfriend and I stopped in because we saw they had a gift shop. They have all kinds of local goodies, stickers, T-shirts, magnets, and post cards! The lady inside was very nice. There is a lot of information inside about local surrounding areas, upcoming events, and anything else you can think of (dining, lodging, etc.). They also have a nice restroom. I highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t already.

Great information about the area, historic, beautiful. Very informative and would highly recommend a visit here. Plenty of maps, pamphlets. Home used to belong to a local doctor.

Nothing to complain about. The lady who greeted us was very pleasant and helpful with local information. Truly, I came here to collect my Jackson County Ale Trail pint glass :), but was given a wide variety of information on the fly fishing in the area, which I'm really looking forward to coming back and doing.

Our chamber is so involved with this county. They actually care about the organizations, businesses, events, and people that call this place home. Julie, Sande, Kelly, and other chamber employees go above and beyond to assist with the betterment of this community. We are so lucky to have such a caring chamber and I am thankful for all that they do. If visiting Jackson County, this is a must-stop to get all of the information you need to enjoy your stay. Even if you're local, stop in, you'll learn something new and exciting.

Can’t say enough about what the chamber does for the town of sylva. They are extremely knowledgeable/helpful in directing people to local businesses in order to meet specific needs. On top of that they have gone above and beyond helping out small businesses during this pandemic keeping them safe, stocked with sanitizer, and signage to raise awareness of guidelines. I’m grateful to know that they have my back through it all and to be a part of this community. Love you guys!

REMEMBER, The Chamber of Commerce is NOT the Town of Sylva or the County. Please direct complaints/suggestions to them and give credit to this amazing Chamber of Commerce for what they do. As a business owner and member of the Chamber of Commerce, I am so supported. The Chamber runs the Visitor Center and provides the much needed information to tourists that I could never do. They provide resources and marketing opportunities for all the businesses, not to mention the amazing events that attract visitors to our town. For a town/county of this size, what we get from our Chamber is absolutely amazing!

We attended an "after hours" S.T.I.R. event at the Sneaky Squirrel, Jackson County's newest micro-brew house and restaurant. It was a great event as always conducted by Julie Spiro, The Chamber's Executive Director and Kelly Donaldson, Assistant Director. The Chamber has done such an excellent job in highlighting Jackson County Businesses and giving members (and potential members) the opportunity to network, find out about new businesses and keep abreast of important news. Thanks to the Chamber and its staff for the excellent job you do. See you at the next S.T.I.R.

Super friendly people. Very knowledgeable and helpful regarding hikes, waterfalls and motorcycle routes. Such a great location in an old home next to the historic courthouse.

It’s hard to imagine an organization working harder or smarter for its community, particularly with limited resources. Hug these fine folks when you see them (after the pandemic).

As a volunteer at our town’s Friends of the Library Used Bookstore, I’m grateful for the generous support of our Chamber Team.
