Catawba County ABC Store

Not the easiest to get out of during high traffic times but overall a good store. We'll stocked

Super selection of adult beverages, the staff are always cheerful and will go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. Today for instance I was craving a beverage that I hadn't had since I was in high school I was seriously wanting to sip on some peppermint schnapps, I searched the store from one end to the other end, up one isle and down the other, I was about to come to the conclusion that perhaps the spirit was no longer produced or possibly not sold in this area so I gave up and started towards the exit when from behind the counter I heard the sweetest most kind female voice with that beautiful southern draw ask me " Hey hun, if' n you can't find what you're looking for maybe I can help sugar " I said, I really don't think it's available any more, I used to enjoy it when I was younger if you've heard of it.. Peppermint schnapps. " Oh heck yeah sweetie let me show you the selection. To make a long story short I got my bottle of schnapps, took it home and sipped on it for the rest of the evening. I am thoroughly pleased with the service and selection and most of all for the beautiful and helpful young ladies that run the establishment, I will definitely be a return customer!

I’m sorry I don’t remember the ladies name in the store, but she went above and beyond to try and help me find a bottle of bourbon. She had to have called 5-6 different stores. Everyone in there was so nice and helpful. Next time I’m back in the area, I will stop in just because they were so helpful and nice. I Wish all the ABC stores had people working in them as nice and friendly as they were.

Polite, short and sweet,. bag your own, paid worker with cash . following CDC guidlines( debatable) they did well with this, not me! This mask was laying in my parking area. ??
Edit...I was at ABC store to P/U liquor for a business. I needed a receipt to get my money back. The store didn't give me one. Delivered the liquor but didn't have a receipt so I called the store to tell them I was coming back to get that. Was told they don't give one unless you ask. And he couldn't give that to me then. I would have to come by the following day. I have a long drive so never got it.

A nice ABC store. Flowers and aroma candles in the foyer added a nice touch. Staff was helpful, courteous and covid aware. Store was well laid out and clean.

One of the most beautiful ABC store around.... super friendly staff, store very clean, and upon entering, they have a foyer there with a nice relaxing aura.
