Algood City Diner

When possable I search out local cafes or dinners. This diner is one of the best. There are lots of things to look at from Elvis, old gas pump, lots of signs. The bathroom has an old oil drum that was made into a sink. The lights are gas pump nosels with a drop light bulb. The place was very busy for breakfast which is a good sign. The waitress was very good and the bill not too bad

You can get a meat and three lunch breakfast all day open from 7-2

Very sweet little cafe, which made a good breakfast pit stop on our way to the Smokies from Nashville! Food was great, came out quick. Staff was super nice, and the place was full of locals so you know it’s good. :)

Algood Diner is another great place for breakfast. Love the retro classic car / garage themed atmosphere. Great food and good service, local gem is a must try if you are in middle TN!

Every one was so friendly and happy to help us find our take out order. The decor inside is awesome, love the baseball.

We come here for breakfast several times a year when we are in town to see our daughter. Its our favorite place to have breakfast. The food and the service is good.

Our family had a hoot dining here during our visit from Georgia. My husband enjoyed his GIANT burger that he could not finish. The catfish here is the best we've ever had and the hardworking locals who work here are so kind and friendly. This is definitely a must visit if you're in the area!!!

If you don't mind A bathroom full of Elvis Presley posters staring at you while you pee in an immaculate bathroom then it's worth it to see this hole in the wall place in Algood. The owner was freaking awesome he and his wife greeted us after our brunch.
This is going to be our monthly restaurant trip for sure

This is the most amazing place to eat. The people are done to earth and very nice. I have never had a problem with anyone or anything. It's a 10 of 10 easy.

The food and service was great! I was looking for an old style diner to eat at and I have to say that the owners did a great job, Everything was nice and clean. The owners were the best people I have met they have a love for there community and all people! I loved it all and will be back!

We had the mushroom swiss burger, fries, and drink for 14.99, a large burger cooked perfectly and incredibly tasty. Excellent sweet iced tea. Service is prompt and not intrusive. It is quite busy, so be prepared. Don't know if the air conditioning was not working properly, it was a little warm when we were there but other than that we had a great time and will definitely return to try other menu items and the hot bar.

Great local mom & pop type of restaurant. Great collection of automobile stuff decorated the inside. Excellent and friendly staff. Large portions of food. Everyone in there seemed to be local (except us), but staff and customers made us feel welcome.

A very laid back and easy going place to relax and enjoy a good meal.

We have found this sweet, friendly place to always be at its best. The owners are always there to meet and greet and make you welcome. The servers? I mean, seriously, they are the best. Just remember, this is a popular place and always crowded. Breakfast on Saturday is peak so get there early or ready to wait a few. Worth it, though!
