Mustang Park

This park has quickly become a family favorite. Great swimming spots and decent bathrooms. Fun fact, Benbrook Lake is only about a 20 min drive from Burleson, Godley, Joshua, and Fort Worth?! This particular park is the closest to us, and we've had a blast out there this summer.

Unique park, even more so when the lake level is low.

Went to kayak and had a good experience. A couple access points/boat ramps to the lake. Near 2 tributaries that were fun to explore, but they might not have water when the lake is lower. It was at 99% for this visit.

It is a very good picnic area for family and kids
You're paying a small entrance fee, open to 9pm, there are some sitting places, restroom, barbeque grills, the swimming area is close and if you want you can fish.

Go there all the time. Great place to go and shake off the work week and to relax and fish or swim.

What a beautiful lake! It is perfect for a wedding, the scenery is beautiful too. DFWeds did a great job with all the set up

If you are not a strong swimmer, please wear a life jacket while in the lake. The park was nice and clean. Not very many people out on a Thursday afternoon. Will be back.

My family and I love to come to this place for a nice relaxing time by the water. But here lately the trash is getting real bad. Let's pick up the trash. Let's not leave behind so much trash. You know where the trash goes!!! Don't tell me your momma didnt teach you where the trash goes 👍🤜

Nice place to get away from a phone and do some fishing. Fishing is good in springtime.

Great place to hang out with the fam, picnic or camp...park is clean and there is deer everywhere! Good spot for fishin as well...highly recommend!

I come here to fish on early Saturday morning, but haven't caught anything up and down the point. Perhaps its just me, worth the entry fee for sure, nice pretty lake I can imagine grilling some meat on Saturday would be nice.

Very beautiful a little overgrown. Reasonable prices for all day visiting and camping.

We enjoy fishing & camping here, this trip it was packed with people on land and in boats...just fished for a few hours.

So quiet and hearing the lake waves splash the shore is wonderful. Great camping siyed with covetrd pucnic tables. Sevrral boat ramps, nice shower houses
A scenic pennisula to walk out on. And very nice park 'greeters'!
