Special Care Dentistry

I highly recommend this place if you have a child or adult with special needs! We have a 21-year-old son with autism and he needed dental work and blood drawn, and this could only be done with sedation. The whole team was amazing in making sure our son was comfortable, and getting him sedated. There were no issues. They work with mobile phlebotomists who come in to draw blood. They were great after the procedure, and they followed up to make sure he was recovering okay. This will be our regular place for our adult son to get dental services!

This is our first time here, and it will definitely will not be our last. I brought my special needs adult daughter to have her yearly sedated dental appt. We were welcomed with compassion and care; all of my anxieties went away. Dr. Carr DDS, Dr. DeFreitas (anesthesiologist), and the entire dental staff were AMAZING!

Special Care Dentistry is amazing!!! My special needs daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and cavities taken care as well. The team is great, very good communication before the procedure, during and after. She recover great from the anesthesia and the after care instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Great place for special needs and very caring staff!

My wife and I Had to bring our 26 year old Deaf and Autistic Daughter in to get her teeth clean and plaque removed. The staff here are great and deal with their patients very well and carefully. The Dentists are helpful and informative and take their time to give their patients the care and treatment they need.
We will continue to come to this Dentist. If you have a Child or Adult with disabilities and they need dental work this is the place to come.

My son has Down syndrome & Autism. He doesn't understand why people are poking him in his mouth and cannot be still. Despite the wiggling, the excellent staff at Special Care Dentistry was able to get X-Rays, clean his teeth, apply fluoride and do a routine exam. He was extremely nervous and scared, but the caring staff was able to talk reassuringly to him during the experience with great success!! I will tell everyone about the wonderful experience he had at Special Care Dentistry and recommend them to all our special needs friends.

Everyone was so kind and helpful here! My son and I were welcomed with smiles from a friendly staff! Dr. Seifikar took his time, ensuring that my son felt comfortable and was understanding what was about to happen. He also took the time to explain everything to me and worked with me to develop a good plan of care for my son. I highly recommend Special Care Dentistry!!

Today was our first visit. My IDD family member is elderly, in a wheelchair, and cannot communicate or cooperate well, but the staff absolutely knew what they were doing and demonstrated patience and expert skills in their interactions with my special family member. They made what has previously been a super-dreaded, half-day, anxiety-ridden experience into a streamlined, supportive, and professional one. The waiting area was uncrowded, cheerful, and clean. Esther, at the front desk, was knowledgeable, efficient and kind. Before and during the procedures, the doctors kept us informed. I could hear the staff encouraging my family member, keeping her calm and comfortable. This office also has special equipment so the patient can remain in a wheelchair while receiving treatment! There was no wait; we arrived at 7 and left smiling at 9, even with IV sedation and several services completed. I am so relieved and grateful! If you need dental care for your family member, I UNDERSTAND how horrible and hard it is to find help. The special needs population is grossly underserved. Dental care providers generally avoid them, so it's encouraging to see brave, skilled professionals willing to serve them, unselfishly. I highly recommend this practice, and I'm sure they are dearly loved. We each get to decide how we will use what God has given us, and they have chosen well! ❤

My son James Chris Abrams has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. Finally a dentist office that could help him! He was able to stay in his wheelchair for his appointment. He was put under anesthesia and his teeth were cleaned and x-rayed. He received a good report and was watched to see that he was ok before I took him home. Thanks to everyone for taking good care of him.

WOW! What a fabulous staff from Dr. Seifikir who called me and asked about HC’s personal history just Wow! The front office personnel as Brittany and Esther were so supportive and helpful in helping us verify dental benefits for my twin brother! The care and attention to detail is fabulous! We have been under other dental offices that specialize in assisting the disable but you guys are in a League of Your Own! You kept reassuring the Foster Care Giver during my brother’s procedure and it brought great comfort ❤❤thank you!

Thank you God that there exist a service for adults with special needs. My son receives the best and kindness service ever. I read a review recently that stated "I wish I could give them 10 stars"!". I totally agree!!!!!!

Dr.Seifikar and staff are wonderful at what they do. They get to know his patients and take that special step needed to ensure families along with patients are comfortable. This was our second appointment and all I can say is we are patients as long as he is in practice!!!!!!

Dr. Tiplea was awesome and very understanding to my anxiety & concerns...so glad i came here. Esther and her staff explained what was needed and most importantly my costs for the procedures I needed. I Definitely RECOMMEND THEM😃🦷

The providers here are great. They work with patients who have extreme anxiety for dental work and that was exactly what we needed! Dr. Anshu Bansal is a Godsend! We cannot thank her enough!
