I’ve taken in 2 stray cats for neutering and vaccinations, and one of the cats has become part of the family, so he goes in for the little injuries an outside cat tends to acquire, as well as his regular vaccinations.The staff are always so nice and the treatment my cats have received from the clinic has always been satisfactory. I’d say friendly and thorough are 2 good words to describe Valwood. The service feels personal, not corporate like so many vets now. Oh yes, the prices are reasonable, too.

Staff is very friendly and always incredibly helpful on the phone. Dr Murray is wonderful with all my ferrets. Everyone has such a calm demeanor. Love this group.

I took my 2 ferrets in to see the world-renowned ferret vet and surgeon, Dr. Jerry Murray! Service was quick and Dr. Murray was wonderful as always!

11/10 rescued a kitten from a friends truck engine and they were only place willing to work him in to be seen same day.

AFFORDABLE ANIMAL CARE!
First time visiting here. I am following Dr. Murray on his recent location change, because I've been bringing my ferrets to him for over ten years. Local ferret rescue also swears he's the best ferret vet in North Texas. Well, the whole staff here was personable, and helpful. They got me in immediately when I called for an appointment. When I was late because of traffic, someone even called to check up on me. My two girls were seen as soon as they could get the new patient paperwork from me. The entire experience was unique and personal, and they answered my many questions about both my ferrets' health and billing. In the end, my total bill was even cheaper than I used to get at Animal Clinic of Farmers branch before covid and their big move. Today, I made the effort to drive 1.75 hours with an infant to be at this appointment, and it was totally worth it. Total bill for two animals, shots, labs, and checkups was only $92. Oh and also, they have low-prices vaccine clinics on Wednesdays with really amazing prices, apparently. I look forward to updating my cats shots on a single parents budget. Thanks everyone who manned their stations at Valwood Animal Hospital today. I look forward to my next visit.

Reasonable price and easy to get in and out. Staff was all friendly and Dr. Murray was straightforward.

Have only been once, so far, with one of my ferrets. But I was very happy with the visit! I've been to other clinics, before going to a large exotic clinic in the area, and was really made to feel like a terrible ferret owner for my thoroughly researched feeding program of whole raw grinds that aligns with obligate carnivores' needs. So far, that has not been an issue with Dr. Murphy at Valwood. I always worry about that when taking my ferrets to a new clinic, because I do try to research and provide the best I can for all of the animals in my care. Dr. Murphy and his tech assistant were very gentle with my favorite boy, who is currently very sick.

Staff was extremely polite and caring. The physician gave a thorough explanation while treating my sick fur baby, and took the time to ensure I had everything needed to get my baby back to great health. I would definitely recommend! The location is close to home, clean and efficient.

We have been going to Valwood Animal Hospital since we moved to Farmers Branch. We are happy with the service, the open and
honest communication we have with the veterinarians, the friendly, efficient service. We plan to continue to use Valwood as our go-to place for veterinary care.

Good service and I have been taking my ferrets here for about a year! They are extra gentle when handling elderly animals. Usually has an available appointment within the same week.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff at Valwood Animal Hospital. I came to them desperate when I got a new puppy and discovered he had worms. I called SO many vets and no one could
See me unless I made an appt for two weeks out ! I was able to be seen same day here. They saw me on time and had me in and out in no time.
The staff is so warm and welcoming every time I come with my puppy. Also, the prices are very reasonable. I definitely trust them to care for my fur baby !

I've been coming to Valwood Animal hospital for as long as I can remember. When they changed Vets I was very skeptical about going in and seeing someone I wasn't used too. My pets are very important to me so much so they're considered my family. The people who are working there now I can honestly say I trust them with all of my animals care. They're friendly and welcoming. The vets seem to be very knowledgeable in the field, which is reassuring to us clients. Thank you Valwood Animal Hospital for being wonderful! I really appreciate the feeling of being welcome whenever I call or walk in the door and being able to ask any questions I have about my pets health.

I woke up one day and my dog couldn't move, or bark or eat or drink. It was Friday and they squeezed us in, treated my poor dog and eased my mind. At the follow up visit they were just as nice and patient as they were when my dog very sick. Great place. We'll be back. Little loved her visit too!

Regular vet out for the holidays and a wonderful man that had been a US Army vet took off a bloody cyst on our 12 year old dog. After the procedure I was informed to come back in 10 days but we were scheduled to be out of town so he showed me scissors to buy and how to remove sutures myself. All is good, no scars just a happy dog!

We trust the team at Valwood to take good care of Armie. The waived fee for his first annual exam was so appreciated. I always have a pleasant conversation with everyone and I am so grateful I can call in to ask all my questions as a first time dog owner. Being able to trust my pet is well taken care of and we are not being 'scammed' by over inflated pricing are really important to me.

Such amazing and friendly staff. Made a former Aggie feel at home. I trust my babies with y'all and forever will. I love how personal everyone is and how I'm updated frequently and all my questions are quickly answered

Five star service and very reasonable prices. All staff is kind, knowledgeable and very professional. Got dental cleaning / extractions for our 9 yo French Bulldog who had awful teeth. She was well taken care off and staff gave us follow up calls and everyone was very considerate. Explained everything in detail and helped us ease our anxieties about anesthesia/ treatment. Would definitely recommend. Also, they didn't ask me to leave a review on Google. So I did this bc I think they deserve a shout out. Thanks y'all.
