I can’t believe I slept on this place for so long. I already can’t wait to go back. The adult grilled cheese was absolutely perfect. The bread was toasted to perfection & the flavours were incredible.

Stopped in to satisfy a sweet tooth and walked out with the best jalapeño cheddar bagel with lox we've ever had. I mean it, literally the best. Better than the NYC bagel we had that one time that we've never been able to stop talking about. OK, Flour Child, you just changed our story.
Cutest bakery, and I'm dying to try it all. The cinnamon sugar croissant and cake bites were freaking delicious, but.... that lox bagel, though....

I had been looking forward to eating here for a while, so it was fortunate that an event brought me down the street from the restaurant. They supposedly have the best bagels around. If you get there at 1:30, just 30 minutes before closing time, you're not going to get to try them. We missed out.

What we didn't miss out on were the lunch options. My kids had the Old Fashioned Grilled Cheese and the Back in the Day PB&J. No complaints, which is a massive compliment from them. I had the Grilled Italian. (Pictured. Well, half of it.) It was so good. If I had to change anything about it, I'd say it needs more pesto. This isn't saying they're not applying enough. It's just that my default for any condiment is just a bit more than what anyone ever gives. When I go back, I'll ask for extra. I'm sure they can accommodate. Each sandwich was served with a pickle spear and plain chips.

It's a bakery, and we weren't going to leave without sweets to take back home. Mine was the peanut butter cookie sandwich. I was expecting hard cookies sandwiching the peanut butter. To my delightful surprise, they were softer, nearly falling apart cookies. I like my cookies on the softer, more gooey side. This cookie sandwich was perfect for me. Everyone else liked whatever they got, I'm sure. I wasn't paying much attention because I was so focused on enjoying my dessert.

Delightful bakery! Lots of seating, cute atmosphere, full food menu plus bakery. I got a parfait and appreciated it was ready to go in the cooler display so I didn't have to wait for it. It was so good! Housemade granola, fresh fruit, both separated from the yogurt so it wasn't soggy, and a ribbon of berry jam in the yogurt. Soooo good.

I finally had a chance to stop in and visit this place. The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and they have amazing food. Everywhere you look, there are more goodies to drool over! This is a must for any foodie.

Delicious local bakery with top level baked goods. Be sure to go on Thursday for their Lemon goodies. The lemon sandwich cookies are what dreams are made of 🤌

AMAZING! Such a nice little spot for a lunch on my way out of town. The only disclaimer is this- they make all food fresh to order so it’s not a 5 minute in-and-out sort of deli. Anyways, the staff are friendly and helpful, the selections are numerous, and the melted Italian sandwich on their homemade focaccia was soooo yummy. Also, the pricing is very fair, not expensive at all (about $10 for a sandwich, comes with chips and a pickle slice)! Grand ledge is a quaint little town with so cozy feels and I’m happy to have found this bakery as well!

Held a bridal shower for just under 50 people and the service and food was fantastic. The banquet center is so cozy and just the right size. They had a great sound system and I highly recommend. The service was so good and right on for what we needed. Great place, great food, great service!!

So delicious! Every single time I am in Grand Ledge I must stop here. The everything bagels are so good. But the pecan rolls are to die for! They are very civic and raise money for local and global causes. It smells so good in there!

I absolutely love Flour Child Bakery. They always have such a wide selection of sweets and treats and their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Today was my first visit since they expanded. I love the addition of booths and more tables for people to sit and enjoy their food.
My breakfast sandwich today was a bacon, egg, and cheese on one of their homemade everything bagels.

I was heading out of Grand Ledge, and stopped downtown at our local bakery...wow, to my absolute delight, they had made fresh egg and cheese mini-quiches - DELICIOUS!!! And the large coffee with cream was A+ 5-stars! Our quaint downtown is gorgeous!♥

This was my first time in. Definitely lived up to the expectations. We went for lunch. I had one of their sandwiches. It came in a nice little box with chips, and a pickle. I can't wait to go back and try their other delicious looking confections.

My only critical feedback is how slow they can be. There should be a way to improve on the efficiency of preparing orders.

Food is always great. The people are always friendly. The decor is adorable.

AMAZING. i am usually very critical,but i come here very often after school. the atmosphere is stunning and the staff are so friendly. very clean. the food is amazing!! i highly recommend coming here😍

Hands down the best place to get lunch in Grand Ledge. The turkey pretzel sandwich is my go-to but I've enjoyed everything I've ever gotten from this gem of a bakery. I check their Facebook almost daily to see the sandwich of the day!

Stopped to get a small something to eat and the service was quick! Everything tasted so good. Customer service was great! A really cute Cafe!

A super cozy spot for breakfast or lunch in downtown Grand Ledge. This bakery is amazing, super creative and the food is to die for!!! This is a must stop location in Grand Ledge for sure.

Really cute little bakery and cafe. The pastries are delicious, I got a little carried away because I couldn't make up my mind which ones to buy. My favorite is the raspberry bars.

Incredibly well made delicious pastries. Just came back from Vienna and Munich and these are on par if not better than what I sampled there. Will be back to sample sandwiches and bagels. Don't leave without a pecan roll!

Needed a place to eat, so we checked out Flour Child. Excellent food, very polite and attentive staff, and very cute retro décor. We will definitely come back when we’re in town!
