Thank you Charlie for your generosity. I asked for my steak medium by mistake. He noticed it was more like well done. I wanted med/rare to rare but didn't fuss being it was my mistake. He went and hand Picked a new steak and had it cooked to perfection for me without being asked to and without hesitation. Completely on him. He didn't have to but he did and that is another reason I drive an hour to eat there. Great place I highly recommend..

I had the chicken pot pie soup, shrimp basket with waffle fries and turtle pecan cheesecake. It was all good food.

Aurora took care of our needs, she did a great job.

The cheesecake comes from the nearby U.G.L.Y Cheesecake company.

The Fish Tacos were amazing! The salad bar was very good also, lots to choose from!

Although the atmosphere wasn't amazing, everything else was! HUGE portions, uber-friendly staff, just a great experience.

Great food and service. I just wish the sign didn't change screens so often, as it would be easier to find. It is not clearly marked. What is clear is the great food.

We had a delicious special lunch today! Chicken dinner, was delicious! The waitress was friendly and the service was excellent!

Food is very good! Portions are hardy. Salad bar is Fresh! Soups are AWESOME! Staff is very attentive. First bar service area I've ever seen with a candle and candy dish! 😉

We came about dinner time. 5:30 ish! Thought we would have a wait. We ordered drinks. Told us there would be a 30 minute wait for food. The staff were great. Our dinner came with salad bar so we were all good. The broasted chicken was really good and the ribs were very good. The hubby was happy with his ribs and we brought leftovers home.

Good food and we didn't have to wait long.

Never been here before and the wife wanted to try it out. Dining room looks nice. Server was quick and prompt to seat us. We both got the steak which was $20 for each person but you also get a salad bar. It is so worth it. The steaks were done to perfection and both were well done. Food is amazing and we will be back again.

10/10 Recommend! This was my second visit here, and I am so glad I went back! Last time I had the ribs and they were delicious. Their salad bar is wonderful. I loved the Broccoli Salad, Liver Pate', and Italian Pasta. For my entree I had the Walleye and it was perfect. It was busier, so we did wait for our entrees for a while, but it was worth it. Love this place! Never disappointed.

We stopped at Charlie's on our way home from Bemidji. The menu was diverse, with lots of good choices. The servers were very attentive and friendly. The food we ordered came out promptly and was delicious. We will definitely stop in again, the next time we're in the area.

We do a yearly fall fishing trip and Charlie's is on the list. The best steak I've had anywhere by far. We showed up after the dinner rush and treated great. Great service.

Huge portions! We suggest the ribs!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a cute restaurant in the area and luckily stumbled on this place. The atmosphere was charming, the food was excellent (especially the margaritas)...but the service we received was the thing that really made this place stand out! Chelsey made us feel welcomed from the moment she greeted us, and she went above and beyond to ensure our experience was pleasant. Glad we found this gem, if we are ever back in town, we will definitely be back!
