Walker General Store

There is so much to see in this space that is filled with local flair, souvenirs, and something for everyone. Walker General Store has a friendly staff all kind enough to talk to me about the upcoming weekend events.

this morning I had a not so great run in with the staff at walker general store and proceeded to leave a bad review of the store, which i have in parentheses below, because I was unhappy with the experience. but I have now changed my review to 5 stars because the owner took the time to look through their reviews, which shows me they care about their business, and they also responded to my review telling me that they would address the problem, which makes me, as a customer, feel a lot more respected. my family, friends, and I visit walker, MN every summer and I have visited walker general before, and today after my bad experience I was feeling dissatisfied, BUT, after the very kind reply from Walker General’s owner I will be bringing my business back to Walker General Store.
(today while my friend and I were strolling the streets of walker we thought that walker general store would be a fun store to enter, so we opened the UNLOCKED door, not to mention there were no store hours posted anywhere in sight telling us wether or not the store was open, and got absolutely screamed at by an employee, not only was she screaming at us she was screaming at us like we were dogs. after my experience with walker general store today I am feeling very disrespected and will no longer be shopping at a store where the PAYING customers are treated like animals.)

Located in beautiful Walker,MN close to Leech Lake this is a very nice store for your everyday needs. Customer service was good.

Awesome selection of stuff and old time candies, a little pricey but it a tourist store so I guess it's ok? :)

Fun place to go for gifts, games, shopping or just to look around. They have a little something for everyone here.
