Stopped here during a fishing trip to Baby Lake, aside from having a decent amount of tackle, rods, reels, and other fishing necessities, they had a good variety or shirts(Including larger sizes), hoodies, and other souvenir type merchandise. The employee also provided advice and spots that ended up being the most productive locations!

Great store! Not only can you get gas, bait, tackle, fishing gear and convenience store items they have THE BEST gift and clothing shop in town!! If your there for gas or fishing stuff make sure to go to the far back of the store to see the awesome gift shop! Staff is friendly and helpful too! A great family owned business in Hackensack!

If your fishing the Hack area, it pays to stop in here. Friendly staff offers knowledgeable advice and the store has a great selection of tackle and live bait. I always stop here.

Swanson’s is an awesome go-to for me when I’m visiting Hackensack. They’ve got a great fishing selection with a well rounded assortment of brands and their gift shop is pretty cool too! Ps they’ve always had whatever live bait I’ve needed when stopping including… jumbo leeches 🤫

We always plan to stop and shop.. great fishing accessories and wife always finds a gift or two for others...

Ordered a Clam ice fishing suit for my wife. Price was right and less than local outdoors stores. Expected it to take 5-7 days to get here. I had it 2 days later. Excellent speed and packaging. Will make Swanson's one of my first stops for fishing gear if I have a need in the future.

Great bait shop. Lots of interesting finds if you are looking. Energy drinks, tackle, equipment for your fishing trips. Prices reflect proximity to lake. Baits caught fish so we will be stopping on future trips. May even get the fishing report from fellow customers/staff.

I purchased two rods. They sent it to Florida and then someone else sent them to Uruguay. I would recommend these guys !!!! Thanks

LOVE this place! Great selection of essential gear and a lovely little gift shop. Sadly NO ONE was wearing masks including employees. Felt very uncomfortable in that cramped space since we are still in the midst of a pandemic.

Stopped in to have two 20lb propane tanks filled. Payed and tanks were promptly filled. Store was busy.

I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. Not only is it a gas station, it has a variety of shops that cater to tourists, fishermen, as well as some of the basic grocery items. I come here because, sometimes, I just dont want to deal with the crowds in Walker. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place if your looking for basic food, tackle, or souvenirs.

Stopped in with a friend since she needed something from the tackle area I however still found things for myself. They have some original sauces and dips. I will make another trip just for them next time I am in the area. Staff was very friendly and the store was very organized and clean.

Swanson's Bait & Tackle is the most interesting store that has everything and more from fishing equipment, hoodies that are so thick that will keep you warm and cozy, along with a gift shop that is Handy along the way when you are traveling. And they have a variety of bait for fishing fresh and ready to go! Great place to go when you're on the road. Come see for yourself!

Incredible customer service. I was in need of a few relatively unique and hard to find products for my Humminbird units. Not only were they able to get these products but, they had them available next day. They saved my fishing trip. Great tackle and bait selection as well.

Swanson’s is a great place to do business! They were very friendly, easy to do business with, and their prices were very competitive. I ordered three rods (from Tennessee) on Friday, and I received them on Monday. I would recommend them to anyone and I will be a return customer.
