New Years Eve. Nice restaurant. There's a bowling alley attached, and a great story.

Upscale bowling alley food. It was ok. But no New Years Eve menu.

We had a really great experience here! The host and server were really kind and accommodating, the food was great, restaurant was clean, and had a nice atmosphere. Mind you, we went during lunch hours on a Monday. For two adults and one child eating, I felt our bill was reasonable. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Fred’s was a great “up north” stop. I was on my way to a weekend retreat at Higgins Lake and met a team member here for a planning lunch. The waitstaff went above and beyond to make this a wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal and very generous portions! I highly recommend their homemade chips!

It’s a great place to go for a nice lunch or dinner. It is expensive. But you do get what you pay for. Atmosphere-if you are in the back room, you feel more closed off and dark. But the rest of the restaurant is great. And Bowling as an extra option is fun too!

I normally don't leave a 5 star review, however the workers were fun and overall amazing. The atmosphere was fun and everyone is so nice. We ended up meeting people and even invited them to our table. Definitely will travel over 2 hours just to go back!!

Had our grandsons 3rd birthday here, cosmic bowling! Food and service were both amazing!!

Great place to eat when we visit the Michigan Fireman Memorial there. Great service and food. Love the decor on the walls. Will go back there to eat.

We cannot say enough about this wonderful place. We were on I75 looking up a place to stop and eat on our way to Cheboygan. I found a place that I thought looked rustic and had an intriguing menu online. I'm glad we stopped on Friday and again today. The decor is FANTASTIC. The service is phenomenal. The food? The food? OMG. To die for. Highly recommend the Hungarian Mushroom Soup, Beer Battered Cod, Calzones, White Chicken Chili, Housemade pizza with a fantastic sauce. No, I didn't eat all of that. My fiancee and I had these all within two visits. We were sampling off of one another's plates. By the way.... you can go bowling there too. Yessssss.

Always a great meal! Kind helpful staff! The ribs and burgers are to die for! Everything we had was fantastic, our favorite place to eat when we stay at the cabin.

Stopped in after a meeting to grab a quick bite. We are so glad we did! Each person in our seven party group had a delicious plate of food. Our server was very kind and funny; she immediately picked up our sense of humor and ran with it, making for a great time!

First of all I would highly recommend and yes I WILL be back. Fantastic food, I know why they win awards! Excellent service. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms! Should be 10 stars!

Stopped in for the best pizza around, hands down! Got a large thin crust with 5 toppings, a side salad and some very good French Onion soup. Aubrea was a great host, thank you for taking good care of us. We left very satisfied and took half the pie home. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Stopped in on recommendation from a local on a camping trip at Higgens Lake. Had a 10-15 min wait for 3 @ prime dinner time. Food was amazing. Service was great. Restuarant did a fantastic job spacing out people and complying with covid restrictions. I will definitely be back if ever this way again. Hopefully the bowling alley will be open then!

Drinks, Artichoke dip and Ahi tuna plus dessert. Yum! The tuna could be seared a min longer. We will be back.

The food here is delicious!! The service was great! Our waitress was very knowledgeable about what the place has to offer. The restaurant is very clean. Masks were wore by all staff. Bathrooms were clean. Menu is smaller than the last time I was there but still have so many options. Excellent choice if you are staying in Roscommon or traveling through. We love coming here. The cooks are great at cooking steak exactly how you order it. Kids menu is pretty versatile as well. Definitely a place we recommend.

Loved it here. It was absolutely beautiful and we loved all the awesome woodwork collages. The food was delicious. I had the philly steak which came with Au jus and homemade potatoe chips. My sister had Mac and cheese and it was scrumptious and
My husband had chicken jambalaya was awesome he said with generous portions which was true for all of our dishes. Everything was very flavorful! Also it had plenty of seating options and it does t hurt that it has a bowling alley in it as well! And if you enjoy birdwatching there are fully stocked feeders at every window.

Tried their food for the first time yesterday and it was really good, i had the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and all i have to day is YUM! I wish there was a little more food included on the plate but i will be back to try more of their menu!

The most delicious dining in Roscommon county. A great atmosphere and friendly service. The nightly specials are a great deal, but I seldom pass up a chance to get those mouthwatering ribs.

Great place to celebrate a birthday. Ribs are great, the best I've ever had. French Onion soup is second only to what we get on NCL cruises. Will be back again because it's just a short drive from Gladwin.

The food here is delicious! A bit pricy but worth it once in a while. Bowling was a blast. Very kid friendly. The place was packed. It was a Friday night though. Not sure how the week days are. Will be back at some point for sure.
