M55 Pour House

Great atmosphere. Had a great time. Great servers and bartenders. We're a great help when I lost something in there. Will be back.

Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. I had seen a picture on the Google Maps information page showing a picture of a Monte Cristo sandwich that I was looking forward to trying. I didn’t see it on the menu so I asked our server if they still have have them. She said that it’s not on the menu anymore, and then said if that’s what you want. Friendly and accommodating staff, good food and drinks, lots of televisions to watch your favorite sports teams.

This bar is usually pretty good. If you go during the off-season, service will be great. Be warned if you go during the summer you may be waiting quite a while for service even after you get seated. I love karaoke Fridays.

This has become our go-to place in Houghton Lake! We have spent a lot of time there over the past year. Great selection of beers, fantastic smashburgers, and excellent steaks. The brussels sprouts appetizer and fried mushrooms are probably the best I've ever had! We've always had amazing service and lots of friendly people visit this place. Next time you're in town, stop at the M-55 Pour House. You won't be sorry!

First off wanted to point out, very welcoming when I walked in.
My kids got the Mac n cheese. It was so creamy. I got the stinging sprouts without bacon, bc I can't have bacon, but they were delicious. My parents got the fish, they order theirs beer battered, one of the few places around that will prepare it that way around here, it was great.
The sever zae, z, zaelyn was absolutely amazing. Constantly checked on our table, made sure everything was great, made sure the soup came out before the meal, made sure drinks were full. She was very sweet. The other server jasmine was moving around busting her butt, and brought my kids coloring books and crayons and helped tend to not only her tables but helped the other staff. Erica the bartender, always gives me a big heeeyyyy when I walk in, she's very nice and fast. She always tends to all her tables, the bar as well as always on top of getting drinks for the servers. I noticed the dishwashers kept making sure dishes didn't pile up
The entire staff was incredibly nice, the food was great, the over all experience was amazing. Highly recommend

The Pour House menu is as diverse as it can get. However- if you are looking for a hidden gem, I recommend getting the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. This is not on their menu, but it is always prepared when my boyfriend and I request it. The chicken is the perfect size, hand-battered, and tossed in buffalo sauce. Need I say more??? .... I think so, because this is THE spot in Houghton Lake. The vibe is awesome - just how it should be for a restaurant up north. Live bands on the weekends, as well!!

My wife and I both got the smoked brisket Mac and cheese. This was the best Mac we have both ever had if you have never been here try this dish! We will be coming back for the Mac.

Cool little home town bar, friendly staff, good food, plenty of cool beers on draft, and a neat atmosphere. We especially enjoy going when they have bands playing!

Drinks.. I have been here twice (2020 and 2021) the bartenders have been able, each time, give me a drink that I haven't tried before but has been wonderful. Bartenders have been very nice and accommodating/ friendly. I haven't had a chance to try the food but it looks great.

Was up this way for an event and stopped by to eat, not sure of anything about the place. I had the brisket, macaroni and cheese with fried onion strips. It was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff was very friendly and I will definitely stop again if in the area

The ribeye was excellent the loaded mash were excellent the staff were fabulous great experience all the way around. I was up there working went in at 10 pm no less and got severed up this great time

Great little bar with amazing sandwiches. The smoked brisket mac-n-cheese is FABULOUS

Chicken Cesar wrap was incredible. Great beer selection 👌👍.

Love M55 pour house! They have a pool table and rotating entertainment (karaoke, live music, keno, pull tabs, etc) good service, very attentive on a Saturday night & TO DIE FOR SMASH BURGERS! Literally the best smash burgers! Great food & drinks! Also, their honey mustard is homemade and the BEST IVE EVER HAD!

I don't know this waitress personally but we go there every Tuesday for lunch and she's just great Kaitlin I think I get the chicken wrap it is so good evy time

While on girls weekend in Houghton Lake we stopped into the Pour House to have lunch. Our party had burgers and the fish & chips, the food was fantastic! The tap list is varied and had some great selections. Our waitress was perfect! We’ll be back!
