New China

Easily the best Chinese in town. I usually try to give restaurants a few tries before picking a different business but after being disappointed with the other two places in the area, New China has consistently proved delicious and fresh. Maybe once or twice in the past 3 years has the chicken been dry or chewy but you have to temper expectations with this type of cuisine and again, they have delivered quality way more often than anywhere else around. You'll never be greeted when you walk in and you may be waiting a minute, but it's always been hot and so so good.

Food was fantastic! A few small tables inside for dining but mostly a carry out. It was hard to find the place by Google if your not a local. It's in a little strip mall. Google sent us in circles a few times but we were determined 😁 and it was well worth it!

Me and my family have been going here for the past 5 years, and they never seem to disappoint. The workers always seem so sweet and understanding, and i appreciate all their hard work!! We normally get the seasme chicken and the orange chicken and the tariake (sorry, i dont know how to spell that), but every single time, it's cooked to perfection. And the funny thing is that 3 of the chicken containers feed my family of 6!! And 5 outta the 6 are adults, so it's crazyyyy! It's a lot nicer than going out to tacobell or anything like that. Whenever my friends ask where they should eat on a visit, I always direct them to this place!

Wish I had pictures but it was so good it didn't last long enough for pictures!!! This small little Chinese restaurant is THE VERY BEST!!! Been coming here for years even witnessing the owners kids growing up, great kids by the way and I absolutely cannot believe how big they are now!!!! Awesome food awesome service the best in Saline very clean!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend ❤

We had just done a big Wal-Mart trip and were too exhausted to actually prepare the food we just made, so we decided to be lazy. We saw this convenient Chinese option and took it, honestly not expecting much. This place had me shocked in the best ways possible! For what you pay, the portions are huge. We got the bourbon chicken and the lemon chicken and both filled up the container until it was about busting through. And don't think they skimped on flavor either, they were both delicious. The steamed rice wasn't prepared yet so they offered me fried and I happily accepted! Nothing was too salty or too sweet.

The employees seemed to want to make sure I was happy with my order and I appreciated that. They are very covid-safe and extremely clean! You can see right through the whole kitchen when you go in to the counter to pay and get your food. I cannot tell you how impressed I was at how clean and organized everything looked, these people take pride in what they do and it shows. We just moved here from New Orleans so we sort of pride ourselves on knowing good food and this is the perfect place to get your classic American Chinese food. We will happily return to New China and recommend you give them a try.

We got two dishes - a chicken and a noodle dish - in the larger size, and it was a good amount of food for the price. Better yet, the food was very good. I'm really glad I took a chance and stopped by after coming out of Walmart. I should've known it was going to be good,though, because from the moment I walked in, while I waited for my order, and right up to the time I left, people kept coming in to pick up their carryout orders. Those cooks were going non-stop. The clerk was also very nice.

This is the best Chinese food I've found since moving here 5 years ago. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The dinner portions are huge - enough for one dinner and one lunch the next day. The General Tso's is really good. So is the crab wonton appetizer. The staff was friendly and their COVID protocols were impressive. I would eat here again.

Food is definitely great. Love coming here too eat 😋 my friends eat here as well .

My favorite Chinese food take-out for miles around. Aside from great-tasting food, I love that their kitchen is clearly in view of the lobby, so you can see for yourself that they maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safe cooking/prep practices. The food always tastes fresh, and they accommodate special requests with accuracy; portions are generous and prices are reasonable.

I read a review, that Saline did not have any good Chinese restaurants. We have ordered out from the two others in Saline, they were mediocre, but my kids could not stop saying "this is the best Chinese we have ever eaten". So our experience with New China was great!

The single man's dinner: chicken sticks, two egg rolls, and some soup. I always enjoy their food. It's traditional American Chinese food with big portions.

The pork lomien is outfreaking standing. Wait times are not terrible. Call ahead fixes that. Nice friendly looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu

My Favorite in Ann Arbor Very Good Food

Their Wonton soup id LOADED with large MEATY wontons!!!! The broth looks darker than other places & oh so DELICIOUS!!!!!!

- Spring Rolls

Very good General Tso’s Chicken! Got the lunch special and it was very filling and a good price. Definitely will be returning. 👍👍

Good American style Chinese food. Fast and reasonably priced. They can get backed up at peak hours so expect that and be patient.

Best Chinese food option in the area. Not a place you would want to dine in at tho.

Great place to get Chinese takeout!!! It is not a sit in place, they only have two tables. Good Value and Great Food!!!
