I really love my nails! Kim did a great job! My first time going to Luminosity. She was very personable and professional. I got a fill and cut down on my Acrylic nails. I recently had a terrible experience with a nail salon so it was a great feeling to go to a place that gave me great service. All the staff at Luminosity were nice to me.

My husband and I have been clients of Paul’s for over 25 years. He is a top notch stylist and an even better person. He listens to what you want and is open to trying new things. He knows the latest styles and trends. The salon is impeccably taken care of with respect to cleanliness, up to date furnishings and accessories. In addition they make you feel comfortable from beginning to end offering water, coffee, tea etc. They also make good recommendations for products specifically for your hair type. I always have a great day when I visit Paul at Salon Luminosity. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Laney was wonderful and did exactly what I asked. I have very thick, long hair and it's hard to cut and style. She did amazing! The salon is very appealing to the eye and everyone working there was professional and friendly! Definitely recommend!

Took my daughter in for a haircut. She's only really done trims in the past and was ready to cut a descent amount off for a new look. Friendly staff when i called to book as well as when we arrived. She was very comfortable with the stylist and was very happy with her new look. We'll be back for sure!

Luminosity hosted a Cut-a-Thon event for a local preschool and ALL money went to purchasing materials for the children. So, first of all, that's super awesome, amazing, and generous. Supporting the community is what ALL businesses should be doing - A+ for them, right away!

But then, I sat in the stylist's chair. My last haircut was a mess and, quite frankly, I'm not a very decisive person when it comes to my appearance, so I was a challenging customer. Luis took the challenge and absolutely ran with it. He put a little washout color in my hair for fun and gave me an AMAZING cut. I was SO HAPPY with the result!

A great business with great people! The salon itself is clean, well-kept, and super nice. I highly recommend them! I have definitely found myself a new salon!

Very accommodating to my need to have a female stylist and a private room! I’ve never gone to get my hair cut other than an occasional trim, so this was a different and exciting experience for me and Brigette knew EXACTLY how to execute the style I wanted, and checked in with me along the way to make sure I liked it. She used really amazing products on me that I ended up purchasing and they’re lovely too. There was a small hiccup regarding being on schedule, but that didn’t have much of an effect on my experience, I was very happy with Brigette!

I have been going to Megan for years. Every time I leave the salon I feel amazing. She always knows the treatments to use when I stress out my hair, my color is ALWAYS on point, and my cut is perfect. There is not any other stylist I’d rather go to.

Not only do I see her, my Grandmother, Mother in law, Sister in law, and daughter all go to her.

She’s also done amazing updos on me and my daughter. There isn’t anything bad I could say about her. QUALITY WORK and ALWAYS friendly.

My regular stylist left the salon. The salon recommended Jamie. She was fabulous. Totally recommend her. Also had some questions for the general manager who went over and above to assist me. Great customer service all the way around. Thank you so much.

I have known John for 14+ years when he first started doing my hair, and he is by far the best stylist I’ve ever experienced. He has both cut and colored my hair. Although I do not live in Michigan anymore, every time I visit Michigan, I call John. He is a true artist and I’m truly thankful I have met him.

Running and weightlifting have started taking a toll on my body, so I was searching for massage therapists who knew how to work with an athlete. I was lucky enough to find two amazing massage therapists at Salon Luminosity, Colleen and Christin! I have received massages by both ladies, and I have experienced improvements in both my athletic performance and in my overall comfort level! They really took the time to listen to what I was going through, which resulted in a more personalized experience! I highly recommend booking either of these ladies for your next massage!

I have been going to Luminosity for 5 years. Mainly I see Luis or Katie, but all of the stylists have been amazing. I can be a bit difficult in that I never know exactly what I want. They chat with me and help me based on my lifestyle and face frame. I also have my brows done here, she is great. I wish I had more time to check out the Spa services, it is so relaxing on that side of the building. I'd recommend all of my friends to go there.

I have my hair cut colored about every 6 weeks here. Megan is my stylist. She is talented. My hair always looks great and my girlfriends compliment me on it. Staff are friendly and sal9n is clean. Lots of very good stylists.

Today was my first nail appointment with Kim. Everything was perfect. My nails turned out better than I've ever had them done. She did them the exact way I like to have them done. I think I've found a permanent place to have my nails done. I absolutely love them.

Everyone is so friendly and personable. Kay the manager is so helpful and sweet. Luis always takes great care of me and answers any questions I have. You couldn’t ask for a better team to make your hair dreams come true. Also, I would like to note that they have taken Covid very seriously and make sure you feel comfortable and safe. Keep up the great work!

Came in to see Lauren who did a fabulous job. I had way over grown blonde roots. She she was able to add more color and depth to my hair. Couldnt be more happy with how my blonde turned out! Lauren knows her stuff!

I have always loved going here & seeing my favorite stylist, Bridget. They are all amazing at what they do best. It is so nice to phone them again for an appt & hear that they require masks for thier staff & customers to provide services AND take your temperature at the door for extra safety. Thank you so much for creating a safe environment. You will always have my support

I typically do not write online reviews if I have a positive experience at a business and that's not right. Good businesses deserve positive feedback! I have been going to Luis at Salon Luminosity for over 6 years and in that time I have only received amazing and wonderful hair service. I live 2 hours away from Salon Luminosity and I wouldn't drive 2 hours each way for a bad haircut and style. Luis is professional and he does an unbelievable job on my hair. I have highlights done and I don't think I am an "easy" customer due to being quite particular about how I want my hair to look. Luis has done my hair for weddings, family events and vacations and he never disappoints. I always receive compliments and am told my hair looks amazing!

Luis did my hair on the evening of July 11th and again he did an amazing job. Luis is the owner and I witnessed him intervening with a stylist and another customer. The other stylist was in the station right next to the one Luis occupies. I can understand if someone is new having them next to Luis so he can supervise and ensure a customer is receiving excellent service. I can't speak to the skills of other stylists because I have only gone to Luis, however I have never seen anyone with a bad hairstyle, color or cut leaving the salon. I have also had other services at Salon Luminosity such as massages, brows etc and all were excellent. I would imagine in training a new person Luis would check their work before a customer would leave the salon and he would ensure they had sufficient experience and credentials as a hair dresser before hiring them.

I can say on July 11th I witnessed something I have never seen in all my years of having my hair done. The customer next to me was cussing (i.e. Saying the f word numerous times), verbally abusing the stylist, refusing to pay for services and the police had to be called. The police apparently knew her by name, which was not shocking given her behavior. I can understand not liking a service I have had hair cuts from other salons/stylists and been dissatisfied. My reaction or response was to pay, leave and not return. I would never speak to a stylist in that manner especially in front of other customers. If you are dissatisfied the way to handle it is to pay, request to speak to the owner privately and perhaps ask if he would be willing to redo your hair otherwise go somewhere else and have it fixed. I have done both in the past before I met Luis. I have never had a salon refuse to fix my hair. I think it depends how the request is communicated and how clear you are about your expectations and what you are looking for. I can say everyone in the salon was shocked by the customer's behavior and my understanding was that she would not be welcome back in the future. As far as price goes Salon Luminosity is expensive, but you get what you pay for and they do amazing work!

I felt listened to and collaborated with for the direction we would have to go to make this work.

Before going in I was sure there wasn’t much we could do to make me look presentable. He was able to hide most of the horror I was left with from the other salon. He even made the chunk of hair the previous “stylist” decided I just didn’t need anymore 🤷‍♀

Not only did he make me presentable but, even though there is some growing to be done to repair all the damage done, I feel beautiful again.

I got into the car and looked in the rear view mirror and felt like “there she is!) I felt like the confident woman I am. THAT is how you should leave a salon. Feeling like a heightened version of your best self.

Luminosity saved my hair and I can rock this cut with my head held high!

Oh... and they didn’t charge me for a fix. THEY didn’t destroy my hair yet they helped me out.

I already booked my next appointment. If he can make this mess look good I can’t wait to see what he can do when I have all my hair again!!!

I have natural curly hair and as you curly girls know it's hard to find someone that gives you a great cut. Well look no further. Louis at Luminosity is your answer. Louis knows what he's doing. Im so happy with my hair. I'm letting my hair grow out but still need layers. Louis knew exactly what I needed to make my curls pop.

I had an awesome experience at Luminosity! Luis did my hair and he was amazing! My hair turned out just how I wanted it to and it was just great company! Highly recommend this salon for prices/quality!
