Great liquor store sort of hidden away. Wonderful beer selection, especially local. This is a total cliche, but really applies: friendly, knowledgeable service.

Fantastic team with great service! The day before Thanksgiving was a busy one, but they went out of their way to make sure I got the right wine for our feast.

Incredible liquor store. They have local gems that you can't find elsewhere, and their team is incredibly knowledgeable. Mention your favorite type of beer, wine, or spirit and they'll match you up with some solid mainstays or the newest thing to hit the cooler or shelf.

This is my favorite liquor store in the Twin Cities. Everything they carry is good. It's a small place but they put time and thought into their whole stock. And I love the staff!

Recently called and got some excellent beer advice from Dan. This place has had the most knowledgeable, helpful staff with the best recommendations from day one.

Went in here to get a couple of 12 packs of ipas. There were cold ones in their walk-in cooler. The cashiers were really nice. It's bit more than Total Wine but closer. Success!

You cannot miss this shop! The selection is out-of-this-world. Best I have seen around and they aren't trying to be pretentious. Just ask for Victoria, she has given us so many great suggestions. For beer and wine, you really aren't going to find a better variety than here.

I love this store. Craft beer selection is very good. Wine and liquor too. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is tight as various other stores share a relatively small and narrow lot. Still, it's my "go to" spot for buying beer and bourbon in a neighborhood that has several other good liquor stores. Why? Great staff.

When you walk through the door the amazing staff greet you. Not just the forced greetings you find at other stores but genuine greeting. For those that know what they're shopping for, the staff stay back and let you shop. But, when you need some help finding something or want a recommendation, they know their stuff. I've frequently been very happy with recommendations on wines and spirits, along with beers I may have missed. The staff know what's new and are happy to let you know what has come in since your last visit. They know you personally and make the experience far better than anywhere else.

The selection at Stinson is awesome. Wine, beer, and spirits are all setup in an easy to browse layout and the isles and store are kept clean to make browsing easier. New arrivals are easy to find and the staff have usually given them a try, so they can let you know what you're getting before you buy.

Prices are Stinson are very competitive with other stores around town. They may not be the biggest store in the Twin Cities but they often have prices lower than those far larger and even beat out the big box stores at times. Their everyday prices on the most popular beers, wines, and spirits are great and even when you find them a dollar more than the mass market liquor stores, the service you receive is more than worth the small difference.

Stinson is a joy to shop at and a store recommend going out of your way to do business at. From staff to selection and service, Stinson is the best liquor store in town.

This is one of the best small liquor stores in the metro. The beer selection is huge, with plenty of sours and specialties. They have tons of tastings, so follow them on FB for advance notice. Liquor selections seems to be small, but provides plenty of quality selection. I honestly haven't perused the wine selection, as I have typically gone overboard on the beer, but intend to give it a once over on my next visit. Support this place. They support the smaller local breweries too.

Great locally owned liquor store. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection of local beers, and a nice range of spirits and wine. Prices are competitive. Some spirits are available for tasting before buying which is always a nice option when trying something new!

Clean place, nice look to the inside. Great selection of local and somewhat obscure craft beers. What I assume to be a manager went out of his way to show me a couple new arrivals. Then entered them into the system real quick in order to make them available for purchase. Will definitely be checking back in regularly.

I like to come here and get their "mix and match" 6 pack of beer. It's nice to be able to get a variety of local and specialty beer, without having to buy a bunch.
They have an excellent wine selection as well.

Very friendly staff! I've been going here quite a bit since I moved nearby and always find a great new beer or wine to try. If I can't find something myself, the staff has always been happy to help. Great selection of craft beer and wine.

This is my favorite liquor store in Minnesota. Elevated is great, but this one just feels nicer. They offer more locally made spirits and I've heard the wine selection is really good (not super versed on the grape drink) - not to mention one of (if not) the best craft beer selections in MN

you know ive gone here actually more times than i want to admit .....and i do think that they got a great selection of hard seltzers,and its just once in a while i dont see more fav kind BOLO ..anyway check them out ..and there by Cub foods so handy ...send the wife in to check stuff to grill and you run the other way to the beer store ..see whats the problem !!!.lololo

This is a cozy little liquor store. It's smaller than the big chains, but the atmosphere is very welcoming and they have just about anything you'd want to get.

The staff is helpful in recommending new things for you to try based on what you know you like.

They do free tastings twice a week 4-7 pm--beer on Tuesdays and wine on Fridays.
