They don't serve Torborghee anymore on Saturdays but they do serve Cassava Leaf.

All of the food here has a fresh & deliciously savory, deep umami flavor. I highly recommended eating here.

The esthetics is more that of a native Liberian restaurant, It’s not fancy. The food on the other hand is fresh and fabulous! If you want real authentic African cuisine this is the place to go. If you need fancy order take out and take it home.

The restaurant does not deserve a 4.9 stars they deserve five stars across-the-board. The food is so delicious is so heartwarming it makes you feel loved. The person that’s cooking the food loves what they do and they love to make people happy and feel welcomed.

This is a true gem. Great customer service and amazing Liberian food. I had cassava leaf and it was made perfectly with all the correct dried and fresh meats (no pork). Will get again when I am back in the neighborhood.

I LOVE Fatu's. I have tried so many different African restaurants. Tried so many different fufu with soup or Okra or egusi. NOONE does it better than Fatus. I have ordered here at least twice a week for 2 months and I dont intend on stopping. I literally love the quality of the food and the flavor is just out of this world. My favorites are palm butter with fufu. Fufu and soup. The cabbage stew with white rice. Their cornbread and rice bread are also very good!!! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Such good food, I lived in Liberia for 5 years and was so excited to come here, and the food was so good and so authentic. Excellent customer service too, they helped me a lot and great service and very friendly. When you call, they are very responsive and answer any questions. Highly recommend this place and I’ll be back anytime I’m in NJ 😊

Very good food and polite people. I had the fried fish with dry rice, and it was very tasty. The fish was prepared really well, not overly fried with good spices

The food was delicious, if you are looking to get a taste of real liberian dish look no further fatu's kitchen got you covered. Staff friendly, the place is clean. I can't wait to visit again.

Honestly can't find another Liberian food spot in NJ, I love this spot its the only one... I really wish we had more stew spots like this one. I will travel 30 mins to get this food once a month. I order cabbage and potato/spinach leaf stew all the time. I'm a huge fan of Liberian food and the Liberian culture. The food is addicting !

I just tried Fatu’s kitchen for the first time after finding them on google. The customer service was great when I called to ask about the menu. That was a great first impression that was only topped by the delicious food. I got an order of Attieke and red snapper fish to go. The portions are huge! The food was so good I started eating with my hands. I definitely recommend!

I always want to try african food and oh my goodness this food is beyond my expectations..I love it, will definitely go back to try the cabbage and goat meat..The ladies were very pleasant and patient....

Customer service is impeccable... food is absolutely delicious and most importantly the environment is clean and hygienic. I love the fact that the proprietor interacts with her customers and is always open to feedback and suggestions.

Two months ago I found this place on a FB group - " I love Liberian food" - it's my new favorite place. The food is so good , large portions, you get your money's worth. And she makes it " the Liberian way " everything inside!!--

I practically am about to move into this restaurant and place my othropedic 🛌 in the kitchen🤣cause im literally feasting here EVERYDAY NO REST..just wished they opened EVERYDAY..they are true 🇱🇷 ians who i love and respect the whole family(staff)..the food speaks for itself and NEVER A DISAPPOINTMENT LIKE NEVER...ill move to east orange just to eat here.

Delicious Dry Rice. Only thing I can ask for is more fried pepper. But food taste great will make this my new home
