ShopRite of East Orange

This store is very unassuming. When you go on the outside to park the place is surrounded by a huge dilapidated neighborhood. But the inside is stocked with everything you need.

Brick Church Plaza is basically ShopRite as all the other stores are gone.

The newer cashiers are much more pleasant and friendly this making a better shopping experience. When you do go and see a very good deal, be sure to snap a photo of the advertised sign with your cell phone (or my in my case, an Android Tablet) as I have gotten free milk two weeks in a row as the Dairy department didn't take the time to update the old prices (the posted sign is very high on the wall, ha ha) which I made them honor with proof of my photos.

Update: I can finally get postage stamps here at the Courtesy Desk so I don't have to go to the West Orange store anymore. My next task is to see if it is also offered to me between 10pm and 7am as that would be very helpful to last minute tax people filing income taxes.

Watch out for the shopping cart near the construction area. If you get too close, the wheels lock up and you have to lift the cart with your groceries.

I live in Belleville but I order shop at home from ShopRite in East Orange. I highly recommend them. One of the best people I deal with their is Tawanda she always goes above and beyond. Their customer service is one of the best I've ever dealt with. Very accommodating and they are so very nice and professional. Any issues I've had they are on top of it and treat me like a valued customer.

As expected a good ShopRite with plenty of choice for you to make bases on your needs

Full racks / stock makes me wanting to come back here all time Compared to Walmart for example which has always empty racks

Fresh food section is nice and fresh as it should be
Vegitibalss and fruit section is also very good
Actually same applies to the bakery section

In other words you will have fresh food for fair prices

I love this shoprite the bakery always make my cakes just the way I ask them, this was my son cake made by shoprite bakery, thank you guys for the amazing cakes over the years.

I remember going to the carnival/fair that happened on the spot before ShopRite was built

I also remember the Blimpie and other stores before ShopRite

Team staff are very helpful and every material in each section are properly organized. Do shop there when you visit new jersey or live in the east orange area. #ShopriteIsGreat😃😃

It will be missed, the new one should be nice over where PNC use to be!

Deli and self checkout sections were immensely helpful and patient with me performing at the highest level of service excellence and were accommodating to my frustrations.

I use home delivery most of the time. I'm very happy with it. Their personal shopper will call you if an item is out and recommend a substitute. Lately, Shoprite has occasionally been using DoorDash to deliver the groceries. The DoorDash drivers are not as helpful as the Shoprite drivers. The Shoprite drivers will usually bring everything to your door if you are in an apartment building. The Deli staff are great. They always satisfy me.

Very Good but constructions around the vicinity.

Open 24hr I normally go at 1:am to avoid the rush. Stock is normally on Thursdays so you anticipate for freshest items, it's normally clean no rowdy behavior, normally helpful staff, management seems to listen to food options you might want to see. I don't think this branch has delivery but they do have taxis at the door in case you need. What's not to like.

I frequent this Shoprite often & the bakery did the most beautiful cake for my birthday. I wish I got the young lady name who took my order Friday 9/30/22 approximately 1:30pm & she's lightskinned. My cake was most beautiful & her customer service was impeccable.

This Man Talking About Some Bread He Had Found That He Wanted So I Told Him To Get Another One This Is Where He Will Have Two Then. If You Come Back To The Store They May Not Have It And He Said Thank You Because He Said His Wife. Might Say The Same Thing I Just Said. And I Told Him To Have A Bless Day And He Said The Same Thing. Shop Rite Was Nice Clean.

Since Victor have been the manager there you notice a big improvement with this location. Items are nice and organized, workers are more polite lol Victor himself is just an outstanding person. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to his location. The company should be honored to have someone like himself handle the task. Keep up the great work Victor/His Team.

Nice place to shop in East Orange close to train station 🚉 busy place open 24/24 7/7 . Good customer service good product nice workers.

The best in our area! Great food Quality, prices and always great sales with surprisingly great workers. I haven't ever came across an employee yet that wasn't polite. These employees can be used to make other places of business better because in many places now a days there isn't professionalism, good work ethics

Always clean, no snake line ..self check out was a so...so.. ..meaning if you take 3sec long to scan your next item ,it called for assistant ...so you has to scan your items fast. But ... once we all get use to it . We all will be ok ....assistant was very nice to attend .explanation was very clear....who every assisted you.....things were all in the right place easy to find ... .
