Mitchell's Gulf

These convenience stores/gas stations don't receive enough credit. This store in particular is very good. Fresh baked local scones just about every morning! I worked in the area for 4 months and this store became a regular stop for me in the morning. The owners and all the staff were very nice people!
This store has been in operation for at least 30 years that I know of and the fact that it is still operating after all the changes that have taken place nearby speaks to the owners commitment to the community and travellers alike.
Get there early in the a.m. if you would like a good blueberry scone!

Stopped at this Gulf gas station/convenience store on our way to and from Dover recently. Our family is frol Boston and we were spending the weekend on Dover. First off they have AMAZING fresh donuts! Yes donuts that are actually some of the best I have ever had and yes they came from a gas station. The night we arrived around 7pm we picked up a couple sugar donuts which were fluffy, soft, and oh so tasty. The following morning we went back and got their coffee roll or cinnamon roll and those were to die for! They blow dunks out the water for donuts. They also have the typical convenience store items which was extremely surprising at how low cost many things were. Normally Gulf and many similar gas stations are over priced on their items. The two different cashiers were both male and both very friendly and helpful. We purchased various amounts of snacks and my fiance purchased a few tobacco products, all for a great price. My fiance and I agreed, between the donuts and the personable staff we will be stopping by this Gulf on future NH trips for sure.

Easy to pull off the highway and get some gas. Not to busy so you can get in and out fairly quick and if you need to grab a drink or something to snack on they have that as well. Getting back on the highway way was easy enough.

What a delightful little gas station! Very clean bathrooms, and a nice selection of snacks. I’ll stop here more!

Was low on gasez off the hiway and ez on. Filled up and I was on my way.

One of the last Mom & Pop places you will find. A great variety, sandwiches, subs, pizza, steamed hot dogs. Chips, drinks, and stuff for your car.

Convent location. Nice little grocery store. Beer, soda, chips, snacks. Easy off and on the Spaulding.

Quick, easy, cheap, decent car wash.
