I highly recommend calling John Stevens of the PCS Team. When we received unexpected orders in 2014 right at the end of a deployment to Afghanistan, John helped us list our home. Then, with a very limited amount of time to sell, we decided to also list it for rent, out of fear of being stuck with a mortgage. He was incredibly understanding and supportive though he had nothing to gain from the decision.

Fast forward five years and our rental had become a nightmare, literally. The company we had hired to manage it wasn’t doing their job, our home was vacant, and new prospective tenants were viewing it whilst it was littered with garbage and belongings from prior tenants.

When I reached out to John with intent to once again, sell, I did so with desperation. He took on the task with a genuine heart for service. Without his willingness to remain in constant contact with me, we would have been at a total loss. At the time we were stationed at Fort Eustis, VA and about to PCS to Fort Bragg, NC, all while we were expecting our 5th child.

It was heart breaking to hear him say our home looked NOTHING like it did when we lived there. The pictures were frightening. Needless to say, he worked with us and gave us a list of repairs prioritizing each one into 3 categories, so we could make informed decisions. He sympathized with us knowing if we listed our home, as is, we would loose tens of thousands more than we already had. He referred and met contractors and supported us in getting as many estimates as we needed to make sound decisions while hundreds of miles away. He opened the door for electricians, plumbers, painters, contractors, and cleaning crews. He was emphatic and always, always professional.

When it was finally time to list our home several months had passed, but I felt confident, that John felt confident, that we did it right. We ended up accepting an offer LESS THAN 30 DAYS after John listed our home! I was absolutely over the moon! John went above and beyond for our family who was in a terrible predicament. His character is above reproach and is paralled only by his professionalism and expertise.

If I could do it all over again, I would not have wasted my time or money renting my home. I highly recommend John for all your real estate needs. PCS Homes is 100% unquestionably authentic, and the name could not be more fitting as John has made it his mission to provide the military community with the utmost service during their time of transition.
