Emmanuel Congregational Church

A beautiful welcoming church. Lbgqtia+ friendly including representation in leadership and in the congregation. Recently renovated the kitchen downstairs and use it for outreach such as feeding meals to food insecure and homeless in the community. Worship is a mixture of Hymns, choir music and praise songs. Coffee hour available after service.

Great pastor and service. Offers a free meal mon thru Fri at five till seven p.m. join them on Sundays to get some coffee and some brownies and some faith fellowship.

while visiting the Watertown area, I randomly chose to attend Emmanuel once in the summer. What an incredibly positive, warm and welcoming experience! I love the mission statement and the atmosphere. When I move here in a few months, I want to call this church home!

I don't know much about the church but on a recent walk I noticed they had a very nice community garden. What a great use of space and resources.
