My Special Needs adult daughter had a wisdom tooth pulled here. All staff and Dr Curtis were wonderful. They all took the extra time needed to make her feel completely comfortable and she had no anxiety at all. They took time to explain everything to her step by step. They called the next morning to see how she was doing and also a week later. I will take her there if she needs oral surgery again. Thank you for treating her as you would your own family member.

Literally the best oral surgeon ever. I went there yesterday to get 2 teeth pulled and he also pulled my wisdom teeth before as well. Very professional and very nice and friendly. Very clean place and very well organized. Very nice staff. I recommended this place to all of my friend's and family.

I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed here, and I have nothing but good things to say. First of all I’m 22 and have been putting off getting them removed due to how fearful I was of the surgery. From the moment I walked in the staff was so kind and helpful. The nurses went the extra mile for me and helped calm my nerves before the surgery. They supplied me a blanket and comforting words, and waited until I was calm to start my IV, instead of rushing me. They even asked me what music I wanted to have play while the surgery went on!! I got to fall asleep to Taylor swift and thought that was so cool. Doctor Curtis was incredible, he is so patient and reassuring. He answered all my questions before he started and explained everything. I felt so comfortable. Not to mention my recovery was superb. This team here at Upstate Oral Surgery did outstanding and I would 100000% go back. Thank you so so much!

From beginning to end of my procedure, from expediting it due to reoccurring infection, I had a phenomenal level of care and am currently in a great aftercare program with all details and helpful information available to me. Personally, I loved my experience here. Specifically, their post-operative care options. This office promotes the use of an injection to help with pain, instead of prescribing opioids, to help fight the opioid epidemic. I LOVE this! And it was wonderful being able to heal without being in a lot of pain or being loopy due to heavy medication. Wonderful staff as well that made me feel comfortable during the entire experience. I have no bad things to say!

My husband and I both had our wisdom teeth removed (him 2022, me 2024). We both had a fantastic experience, the doctor and all the staff were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. The procedure was literally painless, I am currently two weeks out and have not had any pain. Highly recommend

I wish I could bottle up great doctors and staff like the ones at Upstate Oral and share them with the world. The staff not only is easy to talk to, but very efficient and detail oriented. The doctor himself is so nice it will make you sick to your stomach, but in a good way! I opted to be awake for my procedure and glad I did. Dr. Curtis explained every step as he proceeded and I had no discomfort. They have set the standard of practice with me and future clinics will have a hard time measuring up to the wonderful people at Upstate Oral.

I was reluctant to have teeth removed, as the two teeth had been in my mouth for several decades. I had watched a family member struggle with healing from wisdom teeth removal done in a different city, with a different surgeon, several years ago. Here’s what this team did to ease my trepidation:
1) There was clear concise communication with the initial appointment, evaluation and consultation…. I knew the cost in advance
2) I was treated with respect, as a key contributor in the decision making for my surgery. All of my questions were answered thoroughly. There was eye contact and active listening.
3) My companion/post op driver was in the room prior to the procedure, hearing the description of the surgical sequencing at the same time as me. He was encouraged to ask any questions or voice concerns.
4) Basically, the event moved smoothly and my recovery over the next 2 weeks was almost exactly as described to me. I was seen twice after the extractions to assure timely healing.
From the phone calls to set up appointments, to reception when entering the facility, and throughout the surgery and follow up : everyone was professional, kind, knowledgeable and caring. The crew projects happiness toward one another and the patients. If you have to get this level of dental work, get it done at Upstate Oral Surgery.

Dr. Curtis and his team are outstanding. He is open, honest, and caring. He does not move on until all your questions are addressed. Heidi helped me find a general dentist to do my crown and helped me with the appointment because my dentist did not do crowns.

The team at Upstate Oral Surgery and Dental Implants are caring, knowledgeable, and all-around amazing! They took care of my son's wisdom teeth very quickly and effectively. He has dentist anxiety, but they spoke to him in terms that he understood and were patient with him. This eased his anxiety and contributed to his positive outcome. Thank you!!!

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed here and was so pleased with the level of professionalism and care I received. Dr. Curtis and his colleagues made sure to address all of my questions and concerns. They recommended an injectable pain relief for the recovery period, which worked wonders as I never felt much pain at all.

Dr Curtis and every one else at Upstate Oral Surgery are amazing! I know others have said “amazing”, and you gotta wonder why so many people would use the same word? Well they took care of my every need during the IV sedation extraction of 3 molar teeth, even what kind of music was playing during my surgery! I honestly was not nervous at all (which for me is a miracle, since I have high anxiety) I highly recommend Upstate Oral Surgery, and if I need any more extractions, I will definitely be back!

Dr. Curtis is such a good surgeon! I had an implant done and felt no pain. I’m 4 days after surgery and have had hardly any pain and basically no swelling! He explained his surgery plan beforehand and answered all my questions. I felt confident in his years of experience and after learning about all the good everyone had to say about him and his practice, I felt at ease. All staff were wonderful from start to finish. My son had to have a frenectomy (lip and tongue tie release)I would definitely recommend!!

I just had 7 tooth pulled yesterday and 3 of them were my wisdoms I had a relaxing/comfortable experience the staff and Dr. Curtis are welcoming, professional and friendly I don’t remember half of the things that happened during the extraction but the post op and pre op instructions were very clear and they even call you the following day to check up on you. 100/100 would recommend even my hubby was impressed by their professionalism!

The staff are kind, compassionate and competent. During my husband's treatment we felt safely ensconced while being treated by Dr Curtis and his staff.
