6939 Linda Vista Rd., is one of the cleanest and well stocked Rite Aids in San Diego.
They have a separate Pharmacy which has well qualified pharmacists; they will help you fill your prescriptions and help you with any questions that you may have about your prescription medications.
Each prescription comes with a detailed/informative hand out, that explains in specific details the positive, as well as negative effects of any medications that your physician prescribes/orders expressly for you!
The store itself has camera film and small cameras made for quick use, myriad types of greeting cards, a well stocked and discounted liquor collection, where you can purchase different wines, liquors, and different types of ales, beer, as well as some favorites, such as Coors and Budweiser - all are often discounted or on sale; an awesome Thrifty half - gallon discounted ice cream section, a cold cooler with myriad types of ice cold drinks, candy, household goods, pens, pencils and paper notebooks and many other items that can be used within your household or office etc.,etc.,etc.
Their cashiers are always friendly and willing to help you locate items that you want to purchase; most are very down to earth people.
They are now hiring a cashier and an assistant manager.
Their pharmacy is also giving
Moderna, a C.V.C approved COVID-19 vaccine; one must get two of the Moderna shots, within a one month period: The Moderna vaccine is one of the best vaccines being given to people, having the least negative side effects and full protection against most all variants - mutations - of the coronavirus.

This rite aid has for some reason a local small community business feel to it. I have been coming here for 2years now and they are very inviting friendly and professional from the moment you walk in the store they greet you which is very welcoming to me. I have a toddler and from the moment he was born I've always been able to get the little necessary things here from medicine to infant and toddler toys along with quick meals in the frozen section. They have 2 self checkouts which is a plus if the lines are long. Which from experience can be in the evening hours. I know the manager by face because I've seen him present at times rather at a cash register or the ice cream area. He seems to be a friendly professional enough man. I've never had a employee be rude or dismissive. It's clean shelves seem to always be stocked and they have a ATM machine inside in a appropriate placed area that makes you feel safe. Great store overall

I was extremely delighted in my visit to this Rite-Aid! Expecting another typical local grocery store ambience like many of the rest around this area it was leaps and bounds from the rest. I have family in this area and come every now and then and make a casual stop to pick up something quick for a family event and all the other stores in the area will never receive my business again after coming here. Great staff, short lines, clean/organized, great customer service and overall a great experience. Can’t say enough about this team and the job they are doing. Keep up the good work!!

Today I took my kids to buy some ice cream and it was such a nice experience. As soon as I walked in we were greeted by the staff. Everything was easy to find and before checking out the cashier asked if we wanted to use the self check out to save time waiting in line. I panicked because I didn’t know how to use it but she quickly walked me through it.

Been to the store few times and I could say that teamwork here really works well. But honestly, I like going here in the morning wherein the Asian lady shift lead is much nicer, accommodating and very helpful and knowledgeable than those working at night. Even though not much workers on the floor, the store looks really neat and has this inviting atmosphere.

Just got finished taking my 5 year old son to the Rite Aid on Linda vista road to get a flu shot. It started out being a very rough experience as he became so scared of the shot, especially once in the vaccination room. He literally started screaming, flailing his arms around and it was heard by almost the whole store. The pharmacist Lien Ly allowed us to try many approaches and was over the top patient and empathetic telling my husband and I that she understands and that her son also was very frightened of shots. Multiple attempts were made to administer the shot but my boy just couldn’t stop moving to safely receive it. We left in tears and he felt like a failure and drove home. Talking to our boy at home about the importance of the vaccine he agreed to give it another try. Lien Ly so graciously accepted him back (I would not have had that much patience myself) and coaxed him into a safe shot. He was so happy to feel brave and I am just still so grateful for the support and care of this Rite Aid employee. Seriously above and beyond. Thank you Lien!

One of the nicest staff members on a rite aid. They greet you once you step inside the store with a positive vibe, they ask you if you need help to find what you're looking for. Even the manager is out on the floor helping out the customers and the employees. Well organized and clean. Five star for me 👌🏼

This store is clean, organized and well managed. The staff are always friendly and efficient with their service. This is my favorite Rite Aid to shop at. Not to mention that management is always willing to help customers. Felt right at home!

Great customer service! Was greeted as I entered the store and everyone is so friendly. Closest Rite aid to me is the one located on Clairemont Dr but I much rather prefer making the drive to this one.

I went to this store lookin for pink eye medication for my 11 month old granddaughter. I had a hard time locating the medication, one of your associates Carolina not only helped me to locate it, but answered any questions I had and actually recommended something that would work better. She was so helpful. You need more employees like her.

This is my favorite store and it has gotten better the past months. Front end staff are approachable especially Alex, who’s very accommodating, fast and efficient. He provides excellent customer service all the time and makes customers like me happy!

Went in for a quick snack and to see the deals on any leftover Halloween items. The associates are always friendly and helpful, I love coming to this location.

I like this particular Rite Aid in Linda Vista because all of the associates are quite professional when dealing with their customers-myself included.
Their pharmacy; their pharmacists and pharmaceutical technicians are all very proficient, especially in my case, as I am a victim of identity theft (I have had prescriptions called in to other pharmacies and they need to keep a watchful eye on this issue until it is solved).
The pharmacy staging area is well marked, very clean and I usually never have to wait in line for more than five minutes; if you arrive around the time people get off of work there is a longer wait however, there are usually two technicians working the two registers in the pick area.
The drop off area is on the right side and well separated from the pick up area.
They also have a new "state of the art" machine where you can test your body's blood pressure, etc.
The store shopping area is very well maintained/organized and the are usually plenty of associates manning the cash registers, especially as soon as the waiting line gets long.
This store has plenty of stocked regular and advertised merchandise in stock and if you can't find what you're looking for, anyone behind a register can help you or sometimes they have a store associate walking around doing other duties, who will be glad to help you.
Because it is close to the Holidays, there are myriad items on sale. ( I bought two different 355ml Red Bull editions for $5.00 and a 375ml BORSKI VODKA for only $2.49-a very good deal by my standards .).
They have items at sale prices in every single aisle and also a "one dollar" section in the back of their store and many 50% off pre Christmas sale bargins : Often purchasing items at many stores- about a week or so before Thanksgiving-is a better deal that battling the Black Friday fiascos, for only a very few extremely low priced items ( The latter is done just to get you through the doors of many stores ), just before the prices drop from about 50% to 25% or less once they've got you through their doors with a wallet/purse full of cash or credit cards; you may be paying on your credit cards until the 2019 holiday season or later at 14% to 21% interest rates.
It always amazes me as to how many people will pitch a tent as close to the front door as possible-for up to two days-in order to be the first to purchase three to five practically free items; especially TV sets, lap top computers or other incredibly expensive digital items or high priced "motion picture toys."
At this particular Rite Aid they usually mark down very expensive colognes/perfumes around or a little after Thanksgiving, as do Walgreens (#1), CVS and several other stores; although maybe not and I won't tell anyone where to go when it comes to what I like the most!
All in all, the Linda Vista Rite Aid stocks myriad different items that would interest anyone looking for a good pharmacy and hundreds of other everyday pet needs, vitamins and protein powders/pills, over-the-counter medications, household items of all types, cold drinks, alcoholic beverages, etc.,etc.,etc...so drop on buy when your in the area.

May, Carolina, Axel, and the entire staff go above and beyond, very friendly, attentive, and always helpful with a smile every day that I come into the store.
