Nice food, a bit expensive, but have a good size of portion. It was quite noisy, maybe that's because it was Friday dinner time. We totally forgot that it was Friday when we went there, there were no open tables, and others were reserved, but we got lucky and sat at the bar. I'd recommend reserving a table if you plan to go there.

This was our 2nd time here. The food is outstanding, and the service is beyond compare. The pork chop is to die for, you can cut it with your fork. Can't wait to go back! Our server, Al, was just awesome in every way! Thanks for making our anniversary one to remember ❤

There is genuinely nothing negative to say about this place. Yes the food is expensive but it also tastes expensive and you get impeccable service. Could not recommend eating here more.

Mary and her staff recently catered the Gates Mills Players (community theater), 75th Anniversary Dinner/Theater Gala flawlessly. It was a wonderful evening and Sara’s helped to make it that way!

Great spot very quaint and excellent service. The specials and wine 🍷 were yum 😋 I had the spicy 🌶 pasta special and Riesling wine. Our waitress was excellent. Really enjoyed being outside on the patio

Tried their chicken piccata for the first time and it was delicious! . The staff is very accommodating and they are happy to make substitutions if necessary.

Great food and atmosphere, enjoyed the upstairs dining, great atmosphere until room was full and then it was too loud, ribeye steak was very good, mashed potatoes were also very good and homemade, service was very good , hope to be back, 5 stars for best ribeye and service in area, thank you.

Quaint restaurant in the heart of Gates Mills. Extensive wine list and premium cocktails. Excellent menu and customer service. I reccomend the pork chop. $$$

We are new to the area and a friend recommended Sara’s. We absolutely loved our dining experience and celebrated Valentine’s Day. The food was excellent…a great variety. Our server Al, made the evening perfect. He was very friendly and professional, not to mention very attentive. It is not far from our home and will definitely be high on our list for dining out. The setting is very pretty and looking forward to sitting out on their patio this summer. Both the owner and her staff were making sure that the dining guests were having a great evening. A wedding reception was also taking place in an upstairs private room….wow, we are impressed! Comfort and quality all the way around.

A great special occasion restaurant, my wife and I went for our anniversary dinner and we both loved it. Nestled in what feels like a small town, this place is a hidden gem. It's got a great modern rustic feel, comfortable, not crowded or packed in like sardines. The food was exceptional, my wife and I both agreed. I had the chicken parmesan, a staple Italian dish I normally order at any new Italian restaurant as a barometer for whether I might like other meals. It was remarkably good! More traditional which I prefer - not dressed up with fancy spices. My wife had the salmon and raved about it! The service was exceptional as well - everyone smiles and was helpful. Our waitress helped my wife pick a perfect wine. We ate indoors on the main floor but there was a really nice patio that would have been perfect too what with it being a beautiful summer night. Worth the drive if you're considering it, though beware it is a bit pricier, largely commiserating with the experience.

We had a really great first experience at Sara's. My party of five all enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and you can tell all the staff care about what they're doing. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and just a nice feel in general. I recommend the short rib pot pie.

Great food and drink in a great setting. Nice relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff. Recently moved to the area and went for our anniversary. Will definitely be back. Had a slight issue with our payment (which, granted, I should’ve paid attention to at the time!) but a quick email sorted it out no problem. Not really one for writing reviews, but if they can make a genuine effort to help us solve a problem, I’ll happily throw some kudos their way!

I had a wonderful meal here last night for my best friends 21st birthday. I sadly did not take picture but we had baked Brie, mussels, salmon, Mac and cheese, eggplant and the stuffed cabbage. For desert we got the creme brûlée and tiramisu. Everything was fresh and delicious, service was great as well. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place. I highly recommend the patio on a lovely evening. The atmosphere was great and the food was awesome. I had rolled chicken and my friend got the lamb chops! Fantastic. Make a reservation, NOW!

One of the most enjoyable evenings we have had in quite some time. The food is excellent. We had three very different entrees, pasta, veal and halibut - all were superior. The mussel appetiser was the best any of us had ever had and we all well traveled. Best mussels in Ohio, yep! It's the sauce. Priscilla, our server made the experience even more enjoyable. Informed, relaxed yet prompt, and a joy to talk to. The ambiance was perfect given the quaint springlike setting. Although we dined inside, it would have also been the perfect out on the patio. I wouldn't recommend stopping upstairs at the bar for a drink first. The drinks are excellent, but the hustle was a tad disconcerting. Not enough to take off a star from the wonderful experience we had with our special out of town guests.
