Chris at Optumrx was so nice & helpful when I called. The local pharmacy couldn’t fill my script of Diabetes med. They recommended look around. So I called Optumrx & Chris made some suggestions. Now I am on track. Thank you Chris

OPTUMRx provides so many services for me. They contact my doctor when refills are needed. They email me when medications are being prepared for shipping and when they are shipped out.
I am happy to have my medications shipped to me since I do not have a vehicle to travel to a pharmacy. I am so grateful to OPTUM Rx.

Never had better service

I haven't had no problems. Meds actually come earlier than 7 days.

OptumRx is a medicine mail order company which provides prescription medication in a variably timely fashion. There lacks good communication between the pharmacies and the patient. Delays in providing medications are common and reasons for them are not well defined. Patients need to closely follow the status of their prescription using the phone app and not hesitate to call for an update

They lie about direct address to the pharmacy. Don't get meds on time.

Absolutely worst customers service I have ever encountered. It’s embarrassing that any company would choose to have Optum RX as their medication supplier. I will make it my life’s goal to tell anyone that will listen to not support this company.

Customer service flat out lied to me re: delivery. Had surgery on Wednesday, pain meds prescribed weren't helping. My Dr called in a stronger prescription. I called optumrx (yes reps are in a different country) to get an ETA as I'm in extreme pain. The rep I spoke with charged me an large amount for expedited shipping and Saturday delivery. I paid it because I can't walk, drive etc and have been in extreme pain/tears for 48+ hours. She confirmed MULTIPLE TIMES on the phone the delivery date of 5/29/21 (today). When I called to get a tracking number, it said order was still processing. I spoke with a cust service rep to check status at which point he confirmed no, the order would not be delivered today and he couldn't tell me when it would deliver. It's sat of a 3 day weekend so, I'm guessing nothing will arrive for at least 3 days. This is ridiculous. United healthcare should be ashamed of themselves for using this 3rd party provider and optumrx should not even be in business. They charged me for expedited, sat delivery with no intention of delivering. Will be filing a report with BBB and my credit card for these charges. Horrible, unethical company. Optumrx, you should be ashamed of yourselves. You are putting people's health and well being at risk. Unacceptable.

We are forced to use OptumRx if we want delivery using our United Healthcare Rx insurance. It’s awful. We can’t understand people in customer service, so they’re obviously not in the US. They usually get everything wrong. It takes several phone calls to get a Rx filled correctly. They promise notifications of the Rx status, but they never deliver.

Most of the time I’ve had no issues - although the fact that I have to use a mail order pharmacy is bad enough. Two weeks ago, I updated my address as we had moved and decided to go ahead and renew my order, even though I had three weeks remaining. It took nearly a week for them to fulfill the order. Once I received the tracking information, I checked to make sure they had the correct final destination, which they did. But for some reason, once the order arrived at USPS, it was send to my old address in a different state. I found this out on Thursday night when the tracking information said it was I deliverable. At this point, with less than a week left of my medication, I called up OptumRx to have them send me the order to my new address. They told me that since the order had been closed, there’s nothing they could do about it. I spoke to three different people, including a supervisor, and all confirmed that my address had been updated but couldn’t tell me why the order had gone out with the wrong label. OptumRX wouldn’t take responsibility for this major screw up and said that I need to work it out with the carrier. They did offer to give me an override for an emergency supply but in order to do this, I need to either head back to my old state to visit the doctor (they can’t practice across state lines) or find a specialist in my new state that can get me in immediately to get a new prescription. It doesn’t matter to OptumRX that I’ll be out extra money for their error. As far as they’re concerned, they’ve done their part, even though they failed to get the medication to me. I ended up having to call USPS and ask them to forward the order to my new address. Unfortunately, nobody has been able to actually find the package, but they’re assuming it’s in a bin somewhere to be forwarded. So now I’m having to ration my medication and suffer the withdrawal symptoms until I receive my order. And the fact that I’m stuck with OptumRX for as long as I work for my employer is the worst part. This company is making money off my premiums without providing adequate service. The US healthcare system in a nutshell...

Terrible customer service meds came broke in small pieces and when you hold customer service they are really rude only few pharmacist tried to help.. difference between OptumRX and WalMart

My doctor sent in a prescription way back on Dec 26th. I called Optumrx 5-6 times since then to check on the status of the prescription and each time there was some problem and I had to do their job and call my doctor's office for them. My doctor's office kept trying to work with them but could never get the prescription filled. I called Optumrx again today and they said they cancelled the prescription finally because the drug is available over the counter. This took them 6 weeks to figure out and no one notified me. I wouldn't use Optumrx if it wasn't for how cheap their prescriptions are. They are always such a hassle and I constantly have to do their jobs for them calling back and forth to my doctor. Incompetent, useless, almost worthless...

One little bump over the last two years. Customer service, took care of the problem, fast and efficiently.

Had some health issues over the last 3 months. Doctors were constantly changing my prescriptions and it was easier to use local stores to get the small supplies of medication. In the meantime, optimum Rx Rx has been hounding the hell out of my phone with constant text messages, emails and phone calls even after multiple calls to optimum Rx telling them to quit hounding me. Optimum Rx can suck my big toe.

There is no customer service. We spent hours working out the bugs in getting our one prescription. If you call you get the Philippines. The workers are very nice, but really either don’t know how to use their computer system or they are working with a bad system. Th think it is the latter.
When we finally got confirmation by talking to a clerk in the US, they said we would get a confirmation number emailed to us so we can see when it is coming. No email was ever sent. Checking the web site was unproductive. Finally got an US person on the phone. She gave us a tracking number, finally. I won’t go into the address screw up, but I will leave that for another day.
This company is horrible. If you do not need to use them, do’t and consider yourself lucky.

Ordering IVF medications should not tack on additional stress on an already expensive and stressful process! Our Infertility clinic has faxed prescriptions to this place (Briova) 3 times! After several phone calls and long call waits, we finally reached someone who knew exactly what was happening to the prescriptions that were being faxed over. The scripts were being shredded because they did not carry the medications that were being prescribed. I was shook that the employees felt no moral or an obligation to call the clinic or my wife to let us know that they don't have the medication.

OptumRX is the worst mail order pharmacy on the planet!!! They either lose my orders, not send them, delay in filling them or send them to the wrong person! I will not ever use the mail order again & I will fight it tooth & nail if they demand me to use it again! Every single csr you speak to whether it’s a supervisor or not, blames the chronic issues on the one before them, it’s always the blame game & after 22 years, you would think they could get it straight, but no every 75 days they mess up a refill or a new script & they don’t care if you run out of meds, no one there cares if you are in a great deal of pain or the reason you need your meds flares up, they could care less.....

My company has chosen OptimRX for a mail order service, requiring us to use it for our maintenance medications. Maintenance medications, in its self, means they are taken regularly. These are not new medications. I obtained them from our previous mail order company. I cannot talk to a person. I cannot get my med. Mind you, these are the same meds I have been taking for the past five years! If I could give a lower rating than one star, I would give negative stars!

A family member recently received several prescriptions from Optumrx which were delivered to their home. One medication costs over $200 and all were left on their front door in temperature over 100 degrees for several hours. I have two problems with this: (1) drugs could have been taken by anyone and with the current drug problems it seems a better delivery method could be put in place & (2) the cost of stolen drugs from a front porch is unacceptable. Suggest that medications/drugs be labeled “place in mailbox-only” if some form of control be established.
