The staff was friendly. The store was clean. It's in a convenient location near Trader Joe's, Sprouts and Costco. The last aisle where bread is is a bit narrow and hard to navigate with multiple carts but other than that, it's a great store. You need the app to get the best deals like any other stores these days.

Wow this store has been renovated and looks GREAT now. The self-checkout is wider with more room on the other side! I updated my review to 5 stars. Great job!!

I have been here many times before, but I was recently here yesterday on July 6th, 2017 at around 12:30. I am surprised that they have a spot for my bicycle (always have to keep an eye out for bicycle thieves) so I was able to lock it up in front of the store. This is one of my favorite grocery chains and let me tell you why I like it so much.
1. Service here is great. On the door, it says bags/backpacks need to be check in and leave at the front counter. Since I had a backpack with me due to me riding a bicycle, I asked one of their friendly workers and they said yes I can leave it with them at the floor. Another time I came here, I had a receipt error that did not activate my gift card. I did not catch it until a week later and they immediately fixed and apologized for the mistake.
2. The workers they hire are great. Most managers and cashiers greets you. Everyone here smiles at you. The workers are also attentive to bagging your things, which makes the customer experience great.
3. The redesign of the store makes it look even better. The flooring and the decor looks nice. Aisles are very organized. Bathrooms are clean whenever I come and use it.
4. Their vegetables and fruits are generally fresh. The meat quality is great. I have bought meat from here in the past. I also like their milk here too. I have not personally tried the deli or the sandwich/hot food item so I will not comment on that. I rarely encountered anything that did not look fresh, but you have the option of not buying it anyways.
5. The biggest perk and why I like it the most: Fuel points. I always pump at Shell. I also get the 91 Premium Octane rating as I have a 300 hp v6 Sports car that I have to give the best gas. It is 20 cents more than the regular unleaded (87 octane) so the fuel points help me save that. I pump about 16.5-17.4 gallons of fuel which means I save at least $3. Savings is significant enough that i come here often. Biggest reason why I come here very often is this.
6. Self checkout: It is convenient they have one here.
I do not have much cons to share except maybe pricing. As a logical person, Costco is right there and some people might overlook visiting here because of that. There is also a Trader Joe's not too far from them and Sprouts across the street. Other than that, I give them a 5 stars because their customer service is excellent, the design of the store, and the fuel points I get to use for my purchase of gas at Shell.

The Carmel Mountain Ralph's is a great store. Looks nice, great selection of products and a great staff.

During these Covid-19 times, be nice to the staff because they are working hard, under appreciated, and doing their best. They have no control over the products available at the warehouse, or an idea when the supply chain will be complete again.

Nice grocery store with good prices and deals. I often choose here over Sprouts across the street. Veggies sometimes cost more than Sprouts but not by much. Dry goods are cheaper than Sprouts for the items you can't get in bulk at Sprouts. Better bakery options than Sprouts. The grocery online ordering and pickup service is great. They've done a great job everytime. I only wish they gave option to use paper bags instead of plastic.

I ordered a marble cake for the birthday party and it was really the best cake we ever had for the very reasonable rate. Awesome one, better than the fancy cakes…

The store is always clean inside and outside area. The staff make this store friendly where customers talk with each other as well as with staff. Sometimes price doesn't matter when you are always treated with respect but the prices are competitive. This is my GO TO store! I enjoy the shopping vibe here.

Going into the actual store is amazing. The managers and employees are beyond enthusiastic and helpful! It's the other shoppers who don't care for others.

Edit: They are still excellent employees and managers. If I go in, they always great me and ask how I've been doing. The entire team is a blessing!!!

I started ordering online during the pandemic and actually drive a little further past a couple of other stores with pickup options to get to this one. The staff is really top-notch with having accurate orders ready in a timely fashion.

Always spotless and fully stocked. People are always friendly and eager to help you. Prices are decent. Excellent meat and produce sections. Very good deli. They also have a big Murray's Cheese kiosk with an impressive selection. Good wine selection.

Clean, neat and fully stocked store. Their bakery, deli and cheese sections are gourmet with great prices and an abundance of choices. It was crowded, but the checkers moved everyone through efficiently. Ralphs is a great store!

I came here for the 32 pack of water on sale one week I was able to check out at self serve! Mind you I had 5 packs of water, the clerk manning this area was extremely helpful and found out the waters code which made check out super fast and easy. Each trip here the clerks are efficient and friendly.

Convenient location, clean parking lot, neat and clean in and out. The store has a very nice and friendly associates. They always welcome you with a smile and always ready to help. Ralph's associates have very good knowledge of the store, and they can pinpoint the location of an item(s) you are looking for. The food is always fresh, and the prices are reasonable.

Natalie, Natasha, Vanya, Ryan, Justin, Jeff, Frank, Beth and others are the associates I bumped into/dealt with, and they are all wonderful people. Thank you all guys !. Keep up the good work 👍.

Great all around grocery store. I'm there 4 or 5 times a week. Edit...years later. New management here is awful. Many visits in a row now: Long lines with only a few of the available registers open. Sad how far a once good store has fallen. Find an alternative. Edit another couple of years later. They've righted the ship and have provided excellent service during the pandemic. The long term checkers here are very hardworking.
