Socorro General Hospital

I have been seeing Doctor Trista Hughes and I have to say she is the most amazing doctor I have ever been to and works wonders with her OMT!! I recommend requesting her any day! She is very attentive and explains everything so well.

I was treated very well yesterday. The RN Michael gave me the best care . Along with the rest of them .

I was staying at a local hotel for an overnight stay while traveling through Socorro. I was brought to the hospital via ambulance after a fall where the back of my head was opened up. The hospital staff and the ER doc were fantastic. They interacted with me and were extremely helpful to my wife and granddaughter who was very concerned for my health. I have a medical background and knew what the staff were talking about. They checked all the right boxes! Well done Socorro General Hospital!

I came here because of acute swelling in my feet and ankles. We were not from around the area and on vacation. The doctors and nurses were so kind and helpful! They understood my pain and jumped right in to help. I would return here for care 100%

Fantastic staff we arrived at 8:30 pm my 3 year old had a high fever and was getting sick we were seen right away. The staff made her feel very safe and comfortable she was screened and treated all with in about an hour or so thank you Socorro emergency medical team!!!

I can't say enough about this hospital to make it right on how wonderful they were to me they took care of my every need I've had very bad experiences in hospitals but this was top-of-the-line treatment from start to end I had an infection in my leg that was very serious and starting to become septic they had me in and out in four days the meals were great the treatment was great everybody from the techs to the nurses to the doctors to the maintenance and hospitality....the er.. anybody I had any interaction with was wonderful wonderful wonderful I wish I could remember all their names besides Anna Teresa Amanda those are just the names I remember but there are so many more but they were badass every single one of them took care of me to the top of their professional ability and we're super courteous super wonderful and super inspirational and making me have a better day thank you I will never forget that stay from the bottom of my heart.

Dr.Baskin was great. He was super friendly and had lots of good information to offer from his many years of experience. The entire staff at this hospital was super helpful and polite - definitely some quality people at this location. Thanks guys!

I was sent here to get a foot x-ray. During my visit there was little wait for checkin at admissions or the lab itself. All staff were professional and helpful. I found no fault in any aspect of my visit to this facility

It's fast to get you in. Drs are ok. Nurses are great.

It was busy but I only stayed for 30 Dr was fast

Good Service. Located far from city.

Unable to place an IV.. many many attempts.. I was dehydrated…Then the nurse brought in a new nurse to try? I asked that she please not do that but they stuck me 2 more times…,unsuccessful attempts! The nurse proceeded to shame me.. & told me she didn’t have to put up with my attitude! She then said something like’You of all people a health professional should know better’ …I felt I had to apologize..apologized. for being sick????The same nurse placed a pic line in my upper left arm.. she left the tourniquet on too long.. now I have a hematoma..at that site..This nurse has No empathy..poor people skills & I felt scorned. Why so rude? What was she judging me? What a horrible introduction to Socorro Hospital! She set the stage! Now I felt like I made a mistake & didn’t need to be seen? The staff made me feel like my illness didn’t warrant..that level of care!….Wow.. the ER was empty.. 2 patients? So sorry you had to work that day!!!!! 2 stars are for ancillary staff & Clay Schneider! …very professional!

If we're all trying to get a handle on Covid, shouldn't antibody tests be available??? Rather than trying to get people to drive to Albuquerque? Sounds like a simple fix from a state so determined to get a handle on the problem and willing to shut down everything at the drop of a cough. Not logical.
