Yo Mama's Grill

We had a wonderful lunch. We had a table of 4 each ordering a different sandwich. I absolutely loved my ham and avocado croissant. The Philly cheese steak was awesome, the Reuben was devoured, and the French dip received two thumbs up. I had French fries as I am not normally a homemade potato chip person, but my friends all had them. Boy, I wish I had ordered them to. Our waitress was wonderful! We never had to ask for anything.

One time I was driving by right before closing, the options to eat along the route back to Albuquerque from the butte are minimal, 10 minutes before close we asked if it was okay to sit down, they said absolutely and treated us great. Now I stop by everytime I pass just to grab their soups of the day. All of them are legendary, a locally owned restaurant that buys from local farmers and treats people like family. My only wish is that they were open later! I love this establishment so much. I will forever bring friends in when we drive by, and I drive by 2-5 times a week.

NM 01-2024 Socooro's Yo Mama's Bar & Grill for lunch today. Tony and I had our normal drink order and Tony chose the Yo Mama's Chicken sandwich with cheese bacon tomato & lettuce with BBQ Sauce and homemade chips.

I chose the crescent sandwich with ham & turkey tomato and lettuce & bacon with mayo with fries. They were both very good. The tea was terrific 👌 The waitress was very pleasant and kept checking on us. She forgot my straw and had to ask for extra napkins twice but other than that it was great. Chef was on point!! Highly recommend!!!

Beer was nice and cold while the food was fresh and hot. Liked this place. They had a nice selection of craft beer and food. Weird thing- I asked for Hatch Chile on my Philly Cheese Steak and Erika, my awesome wait person, told me that they had Lamentar Chile which she said was better and it was! Still spicy but better tasting. Even the salad was awesome.

It is an old Denny’s building but they changed some things, added wood and lighting to make it look cooler. Will come back.

The food is so fresh and delicious! The best restaurant in town. Get the steak and a slice of the homemade mud pie! I loved hearing the story about how Yo Mama’s came to be and I look forward to coming back this week.

4/18/23 edit: got the harvester burger and added Green Chile!

The food was soo good and the service was awesome!! They were able to fit 27 of us last minute and serve us all within a short amount of time. We really appreciate them going out of the way for us!! The blackened chicken alfredo was soo good and filling!

Yo Mama’s was a stop during a long road trip I took last May. I am just now writing the review but I think of this place frequently and fondly!
We met Yo Mama! She is a wonderful woman, ask her about her jewelry, it is beautiful.
My friends are carnivores and I am an herbivore, and I can 100% say that we were all equally satisfied. Just what we needed to continue our roadtrip.

If you're traveling through Socorro, I highly recommend you stop at Yo Mama's Grill. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the food was amazing. The philly cheese steak was full of beef and peppers, and the fries were seasoned to perfection. Their chips were homemade, and the club sandwich hits the spot.
Their sign is a little hard to see, but they're worth searching out for sure! I will definitely be eating there again.😀

Recently, dined in with my family for my mom's birthday.The restaurant was busy,but our server Antoinette provided excellent service throughout the meal.I so appreciate, the Vegan/Vegetarian options available to order from too.Everyone enjoyed!

A great place for dinner. I had a great Ruben. Their fresh made chips are fantastic.

One of the best burgers I've had anywhere. The chicken is very good too. Their current location is larger and we'll designed. They also have several local beers on tap.

Socorro's finest eatery! Savored the turkey bacon avocado croissant—fresh and delightful. Exceptional service enhances the dining experience. A must-visit if you find yourself in Socorro!

There was 7 of us and we all ordered different sandwiches and burgers. They were all delicious! Also had the mud pie ice cream dessert!

We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped here. I had a Harvester Burger and it did not disappoint - queso, bacon, grilled onions, and mushrooms. It was perfectly cooked and everything on it was very flavorful. Great (and fast) service and great food!

Great place to eat. I'm very picky when it comes to places to eat. As a chef I would recommend this place to eat. I had the monster burger. Don't order unless you're super hungry.

Very good green chili cheeseburger. Nicely spiced beef and the green chili had a great kick. Server was super kind. She misheard my partner and brought her the wrong drink but then she charged us for the lesser of the two. Owner was very sweet and checked in on us several times. Would definitely eat here again. House cut fries and house made chips were delicious.

Hamburger it was really good, fresh toppings, Cooked just right.. Clean.. a bit pricey but it's Socorro NM.

We were looking for local fare while driving through coast to coast; and we found it. There was a nice crowd for a weekday. The service was good. We ordered the Philly Steak and Cheese. It was very good! What put it over the top was it was served Au Jus. The sauce was the perfect complement. We would eat here again.
