Econo Lodge in Secorro, NM is GREAT! What a pleasant surprise on our trip out west. Super clean, friendly, and family owned. We had a dog and they have a special section in the back for pets. Could not believe how nice the room was. They looked newly remodeled. Super clean! Comfy beds.Breakfast was made on demand for eggs, waffles, etc. This family knows how to operate a business. I had interaction with front desk, room attendant and the couple making breakfast (who I think were actually the owners). All were super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Nice to see such pride in running a business. Kudos to the owners and staff.

We stayed at Econo Lodge four weekends in one month, different rooms every time. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. There is a restaurant next door that is open late with very good food. There is a hot tub and pool, but we did not get a chance to use them. There is a freee breakfast, but we were out before breakfast. A very nice place to stay. Thank you! We will be back.

I have extensively traveled America's highways and this is easily the best economy roadside motel I've ever stayed in. Huge clean, quiet rooms. And Stella made us a hot breakfast in the morning and chatted with us for some time--we loved it. Highly recommend this motel.

The room was very spacious and very clean. Each bed had 6 pillows! I was in pillow heaven. It was conveniently located for the sites we wanted to see. It was also directly across from a Walmart. So if we had forgotten something, no problem. We were too busy to check out the gym and other amenities. The breakfast was very basic, but the dining area was very clean with great personal service. Cleaning service was great. The lady who worked on our side was extraordinarily attentive to my needs. There was a restaurant adjacent, but not to my liking. I was looking for something light and healthy.

Downsides: Very small TV and it was not a Smartv. Cable only.
Secondly...strangely: No drawers to put your things in. Only 2 small drawers near the microwave.
Third: There is only one hook to hang your towells in the bathroom area. So one of two people are out of luck. On the floor it goes.

Great place to stay. I'd come again, AND I'd recommend it to others.

Updated rooms were super comfortable, continental breakfast included some fresh made items, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Great stay!

The rooms have been remodeled and are spotless. Great bed and terrific staff. Exterior corridors, my favorite for road trips. Easy access and plenty of restaurants nearby.

I don’t often leave reviews, but in this case I’m going to. I made reservations at the Econolodge for a Friday and Saturday night. Guy told me all he had left was the master suite but gave me a good deal on it. A family member ended up in the ER Friday and I couldn’t make it. I tried to cancel but it was past the deadline to cancel. The front desk lady said she would do what she could. I got a call later that night from her. She was able to rent it to someone else so didn’t charge me for Friday night. That was awesome. Arrived Saturday and checked in to the master suite. It’s hard to believe that the Econolodge in Socorro has a master suite but it does. Two bedrooms each with a king bed and bathroom. Living area. It was great for my group. The room was clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and nice. So, in a nutshell, the service was excellent, the room was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Recently renovated with big rooms. Couch and big bed. Very comfortable. Eggs and sausage for breakfast. Friendly owners. Plenty of parking by rooms. Quiet rooms away from street.

Fantastic! The office is open for late check-ins; location is perfect (there is a small WalMart located right across the road for convenience shopping when settling in); very warm and welcoming staff; super clean, updated hotel rooms; and delicious complimentary continental breakfast ready early in the morning. This hotel surpassed my expectations by miles!

I was so surprised at how nice the rooms were and clean the hotel was. Check-in was smooth and the front desk attendant was extremely nice.

This place was pleasantly comfortable and for a great price! The room was very clean and had very comfy beds with extremely soft sheets! Room had good tv, clock, good size fridge, microwave and coffee. Breakfast was good and service employee very friendly. Nice hotel in middle of Socorro, NM.

Great location when traveling the "blue highways" in New Mexico. The Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. We will be back.

Stopped here passing through. This was a pleasant surprise for the price. Everything has been remodeled in room. I saw them stripping other rooms down to the frame. Outlets, lights, beds, appliances and furniture all seemed to be new. AC is new and will freeze you to the bone if you want! Highly recommend!!!!! Best room I have ever had in any chain hotel.

These folks are super, super nice. I was loading my motorcycle and tripped over one of the parking curbs and landed on my face. I cracked my head open and couldn't continue my trip. These folks took such good care of me while I waited for friends with a trailer. Stella was especially wonderful. As well as the nice folks, the room was clean and the breakfast was good, too.

Came down here for a birding trip and I will absolutely stay here again in the future! Really large comfortable room for my dog and me at a great price. They do a really good breakfast here, almost too many choices! Glad I booked 2 nights so I could try everything. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, nice restaurant next door, and lots of cute little barn swallows and Cassin's kingbirds hanging around. Really fantastic view of the mountains out back, and a nice sandy lot for walking my dog (most places just have a strip of rocks, I was glad to have a larger space for her to sniff around).
Great amenities, excellent for a multi-day stay and so glad they could accommodate my dog! Bed was super comfortable, I had no issues at all with my room or the staff.

We stayed there on our way home to Canada from our winter home in mesa. We were very surprised of the size of the room, very clean,breakfast was delicious. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again 👍

This was the best motel we stayed at on our trip. Room has good layout. Continental breakfast. Close to everything in town.

I was on a cross country motorcycle trip and over a period of two weeks I stayed in a different hotel every night. I wanted to stay in a price range of around a hundred a night. As you know, you get what you pay for so I stayed away from the 50-60 dollar hotels but at the same time I couldn't afford $200 a night. This place was fantastic! I had a Suite which had a beautiful view of the mountains. It was very clean and had everything a person would need. The price was very reasonable at $100. I also liked the the rooms were all at ground level and had access to unload all my gear right outside of my door!

We stayed here for one night and the service was great.
The room was very cleaned, along with the bedding. Breakfast was great. My husband left his kindle, and we didn't even realize it. Later that day, they called us and we were already closer to home. Too far to turn around. They took our information and mailed it back. Honesty is the best policy, as they say. I will forever be grateful and stay with econo lodge in socorro, nm. Definitely will recommend to stay there.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I called and made my reservation with a staff member actually at the motel, and she knocked $15 off the advertised rate for me. I was in the accessible room and was very pleased with the space and layout of the room. There was a spacious walk-in shower and safety bars were everywhere necessary. There was a larger fridge in the room than in many hotels/motels and there was a decent sized freezer in it. The bed was soft but not too soft and the sheets were so comfy! I only stayed one night but would have stayed there for weeks!
