Kindred Spirit Brewing

Really cool brewery at the far end of a business area. Tucked away nicely away from traffic.
Really good beer. Food truck on site. Indoor/outdoor seating.

This was more my style. It's a bit smaller than Hardywood West Creek with equally good beer. I came by myself, but there are options to sit by yourself facing the brewing equipment and that was pretty cool. Good bang for your buck on pours!

There was also musicians and food trucks here but it was less crowded than Hardywood. Very similar things going on, but the vibe is a bit more intimate. The people working here really don't mind taking a bit of time with you. I was offered a free sample of an orange flavored beer by an employee just because!

Less seating but also less people so it feels like there's more. Not as many children and dogs running around. So overall, I'm liking it here!

This brewery is not near my house, but I always find my way here. It's because the beer is so good and they have fun events and music.

Don't know what I expected being located In a business park, but it exceeded all expectations. Service was fast and friendly with great recommendations, the the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Love that they take a lighthearted approach to their beer. Oh, and I found their beer to be quite good with enough assortment for most people. COVID safety, they put a sign on the table stating it has been cleaned, great idea! They have two good size decks if you are interested in sitting outside. Fun place, make sure and check it out.
Update: they changed policy where dogs are now allowed inside the building not just outside on the deck!

Good times, good beer, and great tunes! We caught Mercy Creek, a dynamic duo that plays earthy, edgy alternative folk rock.

Lots of beers! And a great atmosphere. Huge TV as well as multiple screens.

The food truck today was Hungry Hungry Arrow from King William County.

Looking forward to going back. Right off 288 on West Creek Parkway, it's extremely convenient from about anywhere in RVA or central VA.

Their Head Space is by FAR one of my favorite IPA's BUUUUT, when it's Oktoberfest season, ya gotta do what ya gotta do! Excellent märzen-style treat! 🍺

Would 10/10 recommend for a casual weekend day of drinking and hangin out. Live music, food truck, and knowledgeable and helpful bartenders. Good vibes all around!

Make the trip to Kindred! The beer is excellent you'll have a hard time finding one you don't like. Bring co workers and guest from out of town because the ambiance is lovely and the staff are friendly. This place is dog friendly! It had a big outdoor patio space an inside game room as well as a bar and indoor tables. This place is a must!!!!

I had no idea that this place would be here when it looked so much like just behind a business or warehouse haha, but here's the grotto in the woods, the outdoor parking lot patio area, and the surprisingly big interior. Some may say it's a no frills brewery these days, but I love it just like it is. Got indoor and outdoor spaces for bands (provided they can play w covid) and a room where there's the paint and drink classes going on tonight. But giant projection screen on the wall to entertain those of us just wanting to sit and sip.

Amazingly flavorful beer! As a beer lover I have tried every brewery around Richmond and kindred is my overall favorite! The live music and food truck events are a blast and fun for the whole family. Even the bathrooms are unique.

Ross the boss is very friendly. The same can be said for Ryan and Ford that serve you beer/snacks. Very friendly staff, good bands, and food trucks. Relaxing outside patio that faces the woods as well.

KS is my go to brewery. Bartenders are always friendly and efficient and the beer is great. The music and food trucks are a definite plus to a visit. I like Pat O’Brien best. I suggest a hophead’s membership if you come regularly like I do. It is evident the owners and the staff work hard to make every visit enjoyable. There often are fun events and private parties that help the brewery attract both adult drinkers and whole families . Nice variety of food trucks. Spacehead is my favorite with Headspace a close runner up and I doubt you could get a beer you don’t like from the wide selection. I also come for the decent piped in music and the bar like, lower light atmosphere.

Very friendly staff and a cool building. The beer was good, some different flavors happening that you don't often have in your typical bitters. It's definitely worth the visit.

Great beer, great place, friendly staff. Allows well behaved dogs indoors. Has quite a good schedule of food trucks. A good thing for some but a negative for others, their frequent live music can sometimes overwhelm the place making it a bit loud and impossible to really hang out and have a conversation.
