Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant

Chef Lee has one of the smaller menus as far as Chinese cuisine goes- but that doesn't mean they don't bring the taste! I ordered the Crab Rangoons (so good!) and the Thai Basil Shrimp (less heavy- fantastic basil!). Previously, I ordered the Pad Thai which was also solid. Funny, I think I've only ordered off their Thai section thus far. I'll have to go back and explore more!

Great food. They are short on staff so right now it is like ordering takeout but staying in the restaurant to eat. Friendly staff and good food!

i have always had good food here. is it 5 star michelin, no. but for a rural town, 30 minutes away from suburbia, its always been such a great place to go for food, and environment for rural town area. i am always grateful for this restaurant!! thank you

Local favorite. Eat there about once every 2 weeks. Have started eating at bar since they don't have wait staff. Like this local place.

They are the best. We drove 4 hours on 4th of July weekend from Chesapeake to goochland just to get their fried rice. Yeah, they are THAT good and totally WORTH the time and drive. 😁

i decided to try some of the Thai food offered here, The Thai Yellow Chicken Curry that i had was priced right and also soooo good. Perfect level of spice, the chicken was juicy and tender all the veggies were fresh, the curry was packed with flavor and the white rice was a perfect pairing. Will be back again for lunch very soon with friends in tow!!!!!

The food was excellent. The Korean wings and buffalo wings are so good. The broccoli is always tender steamed just right the sauce the veggies were in tasted amazing. The egg rolls have a nice crunch. The fried rice was was on point.

What a gem! We've been twice already (once for take out and once dining in) - and have been impressed with the food and service both times. Delicious!! We plan to keep making our way thru the menu until we try it all! Highly recommend the curry and moo shu pork thus far!!

My husband and I love this place! We've become weekly regulars! This is not your ordinary strip mall Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, the service is even better and the food will not disappoint! They have great house wines and a wonderful cocktail menu. Try the Mai Tai or Zombie!

This is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to and that includes living in Houston for 9 years. My only problem is it's almost a 3 hour drive from my house. I have driven 2 hours out of my way just to eat here. Always good food. Even the fried noodles you put in your soup are unbelievable!!!!

To be honest Chef Lee is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The service is awesome, wether you’re placing a to go order or dining in the staff is always friendly and happy to help. It’s so good that my wife and I eat lunch here about once a week! Lunch is reasonably priced around $6-$8 per meal and the portions are generous. I recommend the Beef lo mein, General Tso, Triple delight, as well as their soups, rice, and egg rolls.

Tasty food, piping hot - even after the trip home. Always friendly staff/owners - and Midnight Brewery's "Not My Job" on draft. Add a bowl of fried wonton noodles with hot mustard, and duck sauce to munch while you wait a *very* short time for your order - very nice.

This is our chinese food restaurant of choice! The food was great. The owner was very open to my wife asking LOTS of questions about the ingredients in the food. He even got a menu and circled things she would enjoy according to her concerns about certain types of ingredients.

You would not expect the great atmosphere from the outside. One of the nicest sets of decor in a chinese restaurant I have ever seen.

Decent Chinese for a rural backwater. As of August 25, 2020 is takeout only. Compares favorably to other cookie cutter Chinese places. If you're craving American Chinese I would definitely recommend Chef Lee.

I eat here once a week and love the people here. They are so very nice to everyone that walks in the door. The food is always great too.

Every time I have come (both dine-in or carry out) the staff is attentive and the food is fantastic. Even the humble fried rice is to die for!
