If looking for furniture, you need to visit Real Wood. If nothing else, during the pandemic, they created outstanding custom pieces in less than a month! Pandemic notwithstanding, the team knows their stuff, and not only can create what you need, but help you in the design process, and do it at an excellent price. Also, know they offer stained & painted furniture, and not just unfinished wood. We've purchased multiple stained pieces from them, and each and every one has been excellent. We cannot recommend enough!

Excellent work and prices. We've bought or ordered numerous pieces of furniture from Bare Woods over the past four years. They always have excellent quality, and are great about letting us know when a piece has arrived. They are helpful with special orders, as well. I highly recommend them.

Great experience buying a king bed. We love the bed, but the customer service was even better. We sent a number of emails checking in on the status of our order, and we always received a prompt reply. We will be returning to Real Wood whenever we need to buy more furniture.

My wife and I bought living room furniture from Bare Woods back in 2012 when we moved to DC, and again recently in 2020 for a home office. It's so great to have some flexibility in customizing design, material and finish to best meet your specific needs, and they are a pleasure to deal with. Their furniture is not cheap, but it's solid wood and you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, high quality furniture at reasonable prices. We had looked at a number of stores and couldn't quite find what we wanted until we went to Bare Woods. We purchased an office set as well as nightstands and are very happy with both. Excellent customer service (Matt is the best!) - would definitely order from them again!

Ordering a piece of furniture, finished or unfinished, from several hundred miles away is a crapshoot. I sure am glad I threw the dice. I am very happy with the Maple corner cabinet that I ordered a few weeks ago. The team at Bare Woods made several contacts with me via email to make sure that they understood exactly what it was I wanted. That gave me a high degree of confidence. They also told me that I would have my cabinet within three to four weeks. True to their word, I ordered my cabinet on February 14th and I received my cabinet on March the 3rd. I just put my coat of stain on it and today I'll put on my two coats of finish later today and put it in its resting place. I am a very satisfied customer way up here in the North Country of Vermont.

We were recommended to come here by a friend of ours and not disappointed.The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Everything in the store looked to be of good quality and had a gorgeous finish. While we didn't get anything this trip, we do plan to in the future and we're given a brochure with all of our options. If you're looking for furniture absolutely come here for a visit.

Suburb service. Furniture is beautiful and high quality. My daughter accidentally lost her sunglasses in the store. We didn’t know where she had lost them. They found them and figured out they were ours. They surprised my daughter and delivered the sunglasses with her new furniture. Genuine nice people.

Real Wood Furniture specializes in quality custom-made to order furniture from various Amish catalogues. They can finish the wood in a variety of colors or factory finishings can be purchased, often at an additional fee. The store itself is clean and offers various examples of the different furniture-maker’s furnishings. The staff was friendly and not pushy and let me browse as wanted.

Top notch customer service and beautiful solid wood pieces. They even allow you to buy unfinished items to then sand and stain yourself to save money.

Have ordered many pieces of furniture from here over the past 20+years. Very high quality and real wood not cardboard. Matt Carman and his staff are superb. They guided us flawlessly through selecting a new hutch and side cabinet for our dining area and customizing it so that the color and stain complement our other furnishings in both our dining and kitchen areas. We are delighted with the results.

The staff at bare Woods are very Nice. On my second visit to the store I forgot what tome they opened. I had been sitting outside. The owner must have noticed I had been waiting and ended up helping me an hour before he opened. This was unusal but I was so greatful.
I been looking for a solid wood table for ny kitchen.
Having looked at real wood options online Bare Woods items are moderately priced.
You do have to wait on some items, some items they do have on hand. I noticed a bueatiful square table I needed for my kitchen. The guy that helped me was nice and even took the time to show me items and color choices of my choosing. Did not rush me at all. I had to wait for my item but only had to put half the payment down.
I was called a week later them letting me know I can pick up my items.
When I picked up my Item I was met with kindness and warm welcomes with two new staff memebers. The other gentleman was off.
Bare Woods is very organized they where able to find my item help me pay and load up my car! I was in and out quickly.

Overall I suggest going to Bare Woods for real solid wood Furniture that will last for years. If you are on a budget go to the store they have huge inventory of catalogs to help you choose your style and choices. Find out how much its going to cost then save. The staff is helpful and professional and understand that finding what you want takes time.

Real, solid wood furniture. Pricing is MUCH better than the brands up and down 28. This place is the furniture store we have been looking for. Everything is configurable and custom to your style. We can’t believe we haven’t found this place before. If you are tired of paying an arm and a leg for junk, tired of getting harassed and stalked the moment you walk in, tired of gimmicks and poor customer service, then check these guys out. Family owned, 31 years.

First of all, everything in the store is beautiful. But the whole process, from ordering to delivery, was super easy. The staff was helpful and easy to work with. My new furniture looks AMAZING!

The secret is that they also will stain/finish their products for a very reasonable fee. Beautiful solid wood furniture that will last a lifetime compared to the veneered garbage at Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn and the like

Customer service at this store was excellent! The owner was involved throughout the entire process from designing stage to the installation. We will definitely go back for out next project.
