Was driving one day and didn't even know I was doing 89mph until passing a trooper who said they clocked me doing just that. I was nice and cordial with the officer and was totally unaware I was going that fast or how serious reckless driving is taken in VA. I looked around for a bit before I found Gordon Law and their instructions were clear and concise. I submitted everything they asked for and took all the recommended classes. This also made me aware that my speedometer was displaying a lower speed than what I was actually doing so that's a plus.

I gotta say, im amazed by the results, from the beginning instructions were clear and direction was easy to follow… against all my doubt and anxiety my reckless driving ticket of 92/55 caught by a state trooper using lidar was amended and dropped to 75/55 and turned from a misdemeanor into a speeding infraction. I was coming home from work one night and came upon an accident where a car had ran off the road and emergency vehicles were on scene. I stopped at the scene but was confused as to what to do next. I drove into the next lane to pass and was stopped by a police officer. I was charged with passing/overtaking an emergency vehicle which is a misdemeanor reckless driving charge. Knowing that this charge would be detrimental to my record, I needed a lawyer. I researched and found The Gordon Law Firm. I appeared in court with Alex Gordon and under cross examination, the officer admitted that no sirens were activated when I passed (siren activation is key to being charged with said violation). Every case or ticket is different. So take this review with a grain of salt if you reading this and considering hiring The Gordon Law Firm for your legal issue. I was pulled over in Fairfax County on Route 66. Going a little too fast, fast enough to land me with a very expensive and serious ticket. I was wrecked with anxiety and after doing a quick google search I found The Gordon Law Firm and another. I placed emails with both firms that night. Both firms had stellar reviews the The Gordon Law Firm edging out the other very slightly. First thing the next morning the other law firm contacted me laid out their plan and proposal and price. Alex Gordon called me a day later on his personal cell phone. He laid out his plan and proposal and price. He explained to me the severity of my case and the worst case outcome but then he also put me at ease right away explaining to me despite this I was in good shape with my driving record. He told me what to do and why, he was very clear. His plan was a bit different from the other law firm but explained me what I was doing and why it was important for me to do it. Alex had the higher rating and was clearer with his plan of action. His rate was close enough to the other firm and so I decided to retain him and his partner Carlos Wall.

I was given personal cell numbers to both and told if I was worried or had questions about anything regarding the case to give them a call. Vanessa their legal assistant was a great help as well and she communicated very clearly and quickly with emails. During the months leading to trial I tried not to bother Alex too much but my nerves got the better of me and I contacted him a few times both times he assured me that everything was going to be alright. I had done everything he had asked, so I would just have to wait and let him do his thing.

On the day of my case I got a little curve ball due to some schedule issues with the courts, Alex could not handle my case. Carlos Wall his partner stepped in and I was bit nervous as even though I retained the law firm and Alex had mentioned that Carlos could step in if needed. I really only dealt with Alex so far. Meeting with Carlos, like Alex he put me at ease quickly and understood why I was nervous. He told me not worry and that he would take care of things. He explained to me confidently exactly what would happen given my situation. Carlos was exactly right. He got my charge reduced to the best possible outcome.

For all of you looking for a lawyer for your traffic ticket , Please read google reviews , cause it all true! We found this law firm base on google search , contact them and get return call in just a few minutes! Mr. Gordon his partner and his staffs are amazing! My husband had over 30mph speeding ticket for the first time, but his record was not good due to some of the traffic violations sometimes a go . We contacted another lawyer before and they said he would have jail times or suspended license (base on his record) and we were feeling so bad at that time. And we tried another time by looking on google and found them . Mr. Gordon is an experienced lawyer ( I can see it by the way he calmly ask my husband about his record, job and condition and our story) . He explained everything clearly, courteously and also help us find better ways to make my husband driving record looks better ( make sure to follow all his recommendations for the pre-court preparations) . On the court day, they will be there for you and doing everything that you never think of to bring the result to the best ( we walked out of the court with just a little fine for his ticket and a big smile on our face) . I am incredibly thankful to The Gordon Law Firm for representing me in my reckless driving case. There were about 20 cases that went before mine the day of my trial, only one of which had representation (not The Gordon Law Firm), all of them were found guilty and punished with a minimum of hefty fines, court cost, points on their license, and drivers license suspension. The one person that did have representation was also penalized with jail time. After seeing the results of the other cases I was pretty nervous when it was my turn. However, I would’ve been even more nervous had I not taken the pre-court actions Mr. Gordon recommend to lessen any potential punishment. I had a reckless driving charge that I was extremely worried about. Due to COVID my court date was changed, and it was coming up sooner than I expected. I got in contact with Mr. Alex Gordon about 5 days before my actual case. I was relieved with the way Alex was always available for any questions I had, even through the weekend. When Alex was not available, the receptionist (wish I could remember her name) was able to answer any questions I had at the time. My court case came up, and because of Alex’s close attention to detail, I was able to be found Not Guilty of a charge I was expecting to have serious consequences for. I highly recommend this firm. The whole staff is extremely helpful and super nice. A breath of fresh air during a time of high stress.

In 2018, I was referred to Alex Gordon by a coworker of mine after I had been pulled over for reckless driving. Given my past driving record, I was really concerned about getting this charge reduced. My review is long overdue. About a year ago I was moving here from Tennessee and was stopped for speeding and given a reckless driving citation on Hwy 66 in Fairfax County. At the time my wife had just completed cancer surgery and I was talking to her as she was still in the recovery phase. (Yes I was there for her when the surgery was done) So I was certainly distracted as I was flowing with traffic. I never noticed my speed until I saw the police lights behind me. New job, wife in recovery, long way from home and now this! Didn't know what to do so I looked at reviews and saw the great ones for Gordon Law Firm. I didn't know anyone here so I had to take a chance. Immediately they began to help reassure me that it was going to be OK. They worked with me over the next month or so and I ended up not getting the reckless driving charge. Gordon Law Firm doesn't just provide excellent service but at least in my case they provided great care and reassurance. I highly recommend them to you without any reservation.

Alex and Carlos are amazing lawyers and great guys! Because of them I have made it through 2 reckless drivings and 2 marijuana possession charges both as a juvenile and as an adult without any jail time and not a spot on my record. My most recent situation that I hired them for was one where I was pulled over for going 104 in a 65 on 66 west in Prince William County and Alex got it reduced from a reckless driving to an 86 in a 65 speeding infraction. Normally these circumstances would've elicited jail time and a misdemeanor on my record, but I was able to leave the courtroom with only having to pay a fine. Alex and Carlos really do extensive research on their cases, I remember meeting with Carlos in his office and watched him pull up precedent cases that were similar to mine at the time and explaining to me in detail what his arguments were to be for my defense. I'll never forget the time when I had a marijuana possession, and for my court date it was decided that the charges would be dropped if I could pass a drug test and complete a certain amount of community service hours by my next court date. This was when I was a juvenile and Alex gave me advice on avoiding drugs and told me I could call him if I ever felt tempted to use. Unfortunately, I never called him and ended up using and as a result, I did not meet the requirements the judge had set for me by the time the next court date came around and to remedy this Alex submitted a request for a continuance which gave me enough time to meet the requirements and the charges were eventually dropped. This was not the only time Alex was able to help me by asking for a continuance. From appealing the initial verdict of my first case which was a one year's license suspension for a reckless driving charge when I was 16, to saving me from Jail time on my most recent case, I am extremely thankful for each and every time Alex and Carlos have came to my aid. They even offered me a considerable discount on my last case since I was a former client. They really help their clients by suggesting which steps to take before your court date in order to be in the best standing possible before you go in front of a judge and Alex in particular is very charismatic and kind which has allowed him to create and maintain good relationships with prosecutors, police officers, and judges within the Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudon County jurisdictions. Alex told me that he and Carlos have helped deliver favorable outcomes to thousands of clients for a variety of different charges, mainly DUI, reckless driving, and possession charges, although they specialize in DUI and reckless. They're prices are reasonable but I don't think they are the cheapest you could find out there. You are definitely paying for unrivaled quality when you hire one of these guys.
