Chinn Park Library

We love to visit Squirt, then visit the kids area for puzzles, books and playtime. Then hit the rest of the library. It's very spacious. I haven't been on the computers since before COVID so I'm not sure what upgrades you are able to work with. I do miss the desk in front with the welcoming ladies (well, some were), but it's roomier now without the bulky desk and the CDs right in front.

Large library with helpful and friendly staff. They also have a sprawling community room with adjoining kitchen that can be reserved for special events. Also, this is a great place to bring the kiddos as they have a small party area with puzzles, blocks, and PCs with kids games.

Great library with a lot of activities for children and adults and events.
Amazing isolated area for adults for working if you want silent place just bring your laptop or you can use computers of the library in the public area.
There are many areas for charge your phone and laptop.
Good area for kids to play and use computers.
Awesome stuff and helpful.

My daughter was one of the finalists for author's bookmark. The meeting was held at this library's community room. When we walked in the lady at the front desk greeted which made me smile, although I had a mask on, but she smiled back so I know she knew I smiled. We were early so she told us when they will let us in and suggested we should take a look around to find something interesting for my daughter. My daughter immediately went to children's area and enjoyed herself.

I love the fill-a-bag book sales.

I love the energy of this library. But it would take horrendous behavior and upkeep for a bibliophile to denigrate (I despise auto correct - it always wants to limit your word usage) a library.
In all sincerity, they are amazing. I love the efforts made here, and the library staff are exceptional. If I could stay locked in here, I actually would! Aside from all the books, it is clean - even the restroom - though I only have the perspective of one. I will assume the other is kept similarly.

Just started going to the library again to utilize their resources for genealogy research. This location has some extremely helpful employees....even though they're interrupted all. the. time. It's clean and relaxing. Only complaint would be the kids who run around like it's a playground.

Really enjoy this library. I've brought my 4 yr. old for story time and have signed up for limited access sessions to get books. Prior to Covid, this library was teeming with activity from adult learners studying to school age children/teens. The personnel have always been professional, friendly and accommodating.

I study and do homework in the quiet room when I need a place to really concentrate. Staff is very helpful. When I bring my laptop, the internet works well, but if I can, the library offers the free use of their PCs for a limited time per visit (I believe 1 or 2 hours), and their PCs connectivity is just a little faster, but not necessarily my first option for a place to concentrate. Still great though!

We love Chinn Park library! There are always so many excellent shows and programs going to attend. My 5 year old insists we go to Chinn Park over the library closer to us do to the friendly staff and Squirt, the turtle! Yes, they have a little painted turtle in an aquarium! Too cool. Thanks for making our trips to the library fun and engaging!! He is usually reading in the backseat before we leave the parking lot!!

Wonderful big library! There are areas for the whole family to enjoy! Library staff are always helpful.

When getting my library, the staff went above and beyond to show me all the benefits that come with it, the resources they have available (which is a lot), and even showed me around the place. I felt like a king!

Great library, fun area for kids, they were a little strict with COVID in the early days but now it seems more relaxed. I wish their sci-fi selection was better!

This library holds a special place in my heart. I have been coming here since I was 5 years old. I grew up going to the Chinn Library. During my preliminary exam for my PhD, I came here every weekend to study (And I passed!!). I will continue to support this library and bring my kids here in the future.

This is my family's regular library. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and works to solve problems. The library offers numerous programs from summer reading to hosting English-speaking practice. The juvenile section is extensive and whatever they don't have they will order. Personally, I use the audio CDs quite a bit to make my commute a little more peaceful and productive. They also keep you alerted to late books through their email system. The thing I find most endearing about CHINN Park library, though, is the hometown feel. You're treated like a neighbor when you go in there. Say hi to the turtle!

My family loves this library. They have great activities for the kids and their staff is so helpful and knowledgeable, they really make the experience great. They have helped instil a love of reading in my kids.
