Lemongrass Thai Restaurant

We dined in for dinner & the place was nice, mainly because we were the only people in the place. Seemed to be more to go orders than dine in orders. We enjoyed the nice quiet restaurant & relaxing atmosphere. The waitresses were pleasant & happy to help recommend plates & explained the spice levels. We told our waitress we don’t eat spicy food & it’s no coincidence our food was at a low spice & perfect for us. Food was delicious & we will go back to try more plates. We ordered a couple different appetizers. The steamed dumplings were delicious. Also tried the lemongrass combination appetizer plate. It comes with 2 egg rolls, 2 winter shrimp, 2 cheese rolls (similar to cream cheese rangoons), 2 gyoza & 2 spring rolls. The sweet chili sauce served with it was a little different from other places, but very good & we liked it. We also had a tasty soup that was on the specials board when you walk in, it had wide noodles, shrimp, squid & tofu. Then we ordered the Pad Thai noodles. I think we are happier with a different restaurant for Pad Thai so this one wasn’t impressive, but it was still good. We really liked all the food as a whole & hope to go back soon to try more.

Monday 1130am. Nice and quite. Alot of togo order's here. 1st time for me. Tried the Thai dumplings appetizer. Very light, not to much flavor but good, not overcooked, steamed to perfection. Tried lunch Num Prik Pao Sauce with very light slightly fried tofu, not overly cooked like some places do. Tofu soft to bite. Great flavor here and I ordered spicy level 5 from 1-10 choice. My lips were a little numb after but it was good. Hot ans sour soup was good. Nice peppery and slight vinegar taste which I found tasty. Give them a try 😉

Clean restaurant, polite staff. We ordered Thai Basile Chicken and Drunken Noodles to go. Food portions were good, and the flavor was fantastic!

Hello this is my first time here and it was a great experience. I had the duck noodle soup and it was amazing.i got the heat level at a level 4, which was perfect. The young lady who served us was very informative and friendly. The service was amazing, the food was really, really good and I love the peaceful atmosphere. I will definitely be returning with friends and family. Coming here will be a great experience of Thai culture and amazing cuisine.

Lemon Grass was a laid-back delight. The Thai cuisine they served was nothing short of fantastic. I had an absolutely great meal here, and the service was top-notch. Without a doubt, I'd give it a solid 5 stars all around! I have pictured here the amazing curry it was top notch some of the best curry in town!!

I had gyoza, and The Panang curry with veggies. It is my favorite now. I like that it is served in a large bowl so there is plenty of room to add the rice.

Love this place!! Delicious food, excellent service, and wonderful atmosphere. My husband ordered the lemongrass spicy tofu and I had the Thai basil with tofu and both were delicious!

Best Thai food in the area since Thai Chili Stone Oak closed.

Basil chicken, pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles were shared and delicious.

I was not a fan of their calamari, but probably just not my style.

The servers are on top of it, amd the room was clean

Great and friendly staff that looked like they were over worked during a dinner rush but still managed to provide great service with a friendly and welcoming presence. We ordered the Chicken Soup and Red Chicken Curry spice level 9 and the food couldn't have been better. If you're ever on the fence about trying this place, do not hesitate to give this spot a go, with a friendly staff, excellent food in both presentation and taste and some great prices that help your wallet!

Not authentic Thai but the food is good and tasty. The portion size is enormous. We ordered the usual three dishes and it was difficult to finish. I appreciated the sauce wasnt too spicy so my kids were able to eat the vegetables dishes as well. Also the gravy was light vs thick and heavy.

The dessert we order for the kid was really big. I was surprise about the size because usually Thai dessert is a lot smaller. Both my kids loved it and I think they got a sugar high.

The waiter was really friendly and nice. He was very outgoing and i think it made the experience that more enjoyable.

This place has a very good service. Their staff bring you samples of food if you don't know the dish you are about to order. They also warn you of levels of spicy dishes and or adjust them to your liking.

I really enjoyed the lemongrass duck soup with glass noodles. So much flavor! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was kind and fast. I will definitely go back.

Wonderful service......fresh.... beautifully presented food....our first visit......we had pad thai and Scallops with Asparagus and mixed veggies......it was a little warm in there for Texas warm humid weather and they don't have a liquor license but can BYOB we learned.....but really really nice place...very clean......definitely will go back in cooler weather and often

I have been going here for years, and the food portions and amazing flavors have always been consistent. I am loyal to them and will continue to visit. Green curry, Queen Duck, Summer rolls, Fried Banana and icecream. Personally favorites.

Roast duck with Tamarine sauce was exquiste. Was told to try with curry next time. Fantastic service from start to finish. Will be coming back again and recommending to others. Lunch special prices very reasonable!

Overall just a yummy place to eat. Love the Tom yum soup. But we also had a variety of items and there is nothing disappointing on menu.

The food and service are high quality. This is one of my favorite Thai (and overall) restaurants in San Antonio. The pad Thai, drunken noodles and papaya salad are all top notch.
