My husband and I go to Dr Marsha Shaw. She is by far the best!!! Having Dr Shaw as our doctor has made us very happy. She is one of the best with her knowledge, caring of patients, she lets you feel like she cares and she is always there. Amazing doctor with a phenomenal personality. If you need a good practice that cares go to this practice and we recommend Marsha Shaw. Oh and her nurse Debbie Great team

I see Dr. Shaw and I’ve never had any problems with her. She’s a great physician! She’s straight forward and to the point. She addresses any problems or concerns right then and there and takes the time to listen to you if you have questions. Her staff is helpful when you need to refill your medications and I’ve had no problems getting in for any appointments.

I have been Dr. Kaufman’s patient for several years. He is thorough, pleasant, interested In me medically and as a person. I find him to be completely knowledgeable, competent and caring. He takes whatever time is needed to discuss my condition. I recommend him highly !

My father and I both go to Dr. Kaufman! He is kind, honest and straight forward. I trust him and would recommend my friends and family to see him as well!

I see Dr. Shaw and she's awesome. Listens and addresses the issues. Clearly knowledgeable. She's the only primary care person I have ever liked enough to see more than once.

Dr Mohamed’s level of patience is nil. Don’t try to be
assertive with regard to your health as he gets
very upset. I had blood work done at Quest and had to call his office to get results. Part of my blood work needed prompt attention and I never even got a call
from the Dr or a nurse. When I finally spoke to the Dr
(After leaving a message) he said the blood labs looked good. When I said to him - “did you look at my
Iron levels he said yes he had. The truth is he never looked at the lab work. I went on to ask questions and he became very irritated. Then he basically ended
the conversation and hung up on me. Three days later I received a letter from the Dr and he terminated our
Dr patient relationship. All because I asked questions about my own health. I guess I asked too many questions. I would not use Dr Mohamed or recommend him to anyone. Health care has gone
down the toilet.

Went for annual physical to Dr Akhtar and received bill 9 months later. I did annual physical in 2019 too and all went well. She asked whether I have other questions or concern and I asked one more question and now I need to pay for it. Discussion was not even more than a minute on my 45 mins visit. I'm not sure this is how all the doctor will charge in Frederick Health or it is just Dr Akhtar. It also happens to my wife too and we are really frustrated.. We tried to call their billing and office to resolve it and they point finger at each other to resolve the issue.
Dr. Akhtar asked us whether we have any concern and because of that we told her about it. So if she did not asked we would not discussed it either.
It is really frustrating and I'm still in discussion with her office. If issue is not resolved we better go to some other healthcare provider

Took my mom to see dr atrish akhtar, this is her 2nd visit, 1st visit she threw my mom into the er (making her condition worse) then tells her home nursing care case manager that shes never seen my mother (wich is bs) now, she dares to sit and belittle my mother and my husband! Worst doctor ever! Even with my moms records in front of her she still didnt believe us! So now shes asking for tests that arnt necessary! This is unacceptable if I could give -5 stars I would! My mom deserves better then this! Added note they refused to fill all my mothers prescriptions, wich is what a PCP are legally required to do!

During the whole week I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Kaufmann. Cathy, his assistant, lost my fax, did not call me back as promised, and finally announced that Dr. Kaufmann does not accept patients from Gaithersburg.

I can not understand the reasoning for such a policy of Dr. Kaufmann and I consider a performance of the Dr. Kaufmann's office as patient abuse. I strongly recommend everyone stay away from Dr. Kaufmnn's office.

I have been trying for over a MONTH to get a simple, cheap medicine for hypothyroid (Synthroid) refilled, and this office has made it extremely difficult to do so. When I called to make an appointment (I hadn't seen them for a couple of years) they literally yelled at me and scolded me because I mentioned I hadn't been taking my Synthroid for a couple of weeks. They yelled, "Why haven't you been taking it?" to which I replied, "I ran out. That's why I'm calling you." ...They would not let my pharmacy refill the Synthroid (even though I've been taking this medicine since I was 13) and required me to get more blood tests and an appointment before they would even consider refilling it.
After fighting with them for a few days they were "gracious" enough to give me a month's supply of Synthroid since my blood work/appointment wasn't for awhile. However, of course I ran out of my prescription before the doctor's appointment and tried to call them to let them know my pharmacy would be contacting them to renew the prescription. ...When I called, I was curtly interrupted by the receptionist, yelled at for calling on an emergency line (which I had no idea I was--it was the normal number which displays on this Google site), and I basically hung up while she was yelling at me and I was crying.
...No doctor's office should make you feel like such a piece of garbage that you are reduced to tears. This office has the absolute worst receptionists. Looks like I'm going to another doctor.

My wife went to see Dr. Kaufmann today for a serious medical issue. This so called "doctor" sent her home in tears and without any actual resolution to her problem. He made racist comments about her and her mothers country of origin.

If you love your family you will not go to see this doctor. I have also filed a formal complaint with the Maryland medical board for this visit.
